Don’t know why anyone would question your heritage...just complainers...my family came from Palermo, Sicily. I am 70 and never had the honor to enjoy their dishes from Italy.. They all were made to forget their homeland and embrace the new life in America. So, thank you for sharing your dishes from Italy.

@@maliciouscupcake You beat me to that 👍! California lemons are not as mellow as those grown on the Amalfi Coast of Italy where limoncello is made. Nevertheless, you can make do with whatever you have.
@@alanvonau278 when it comes to limoncello does it make a big difference? I didn't know about the difference. I figured it was similar. I guess it's the difference between a Californian wine and an Italian wine 🤪

My daughter makes this amazing garlic lemon sauce that she places cod in, and bakes it. Your cream sauce reminded me of that. Your dish looks amazing.

Laura said we don't use a lot of cream in our cooking in Italy . Well maybe not in Naples but they sure do in Northern Italy. Lots and lots of cream sauce dishes.

I remember discovering you when I was 18. I'd like to say thank you for showing and teaching us of all ages the wonders of Italian cooking. For me, I prefer angel's hair although I also like regular spaghetti (or even the super thick ones, or the rigati), sometimes your wider ones, too!
Laura, YOU are my go to girl! All your recipes I’ve tried, have ALL been a success. Love your sparkling personality too. Keep up the fantastic work. Although, they say if you love something you’ll never work a day in your life. It really does come across as something you love to do. Oh, also love when you interject your stories about family in Italy, growing up etc. Yes, your genuine Italian pronunciation of Italian ingredients. Love it.

Thank you for this recipe and so many. You are very authentic and a great presenter. And for those who do not think you are italian, they are clearly not paying attention. If they were watching your whole videos and listening to you, they would automatically pick up that you have an accent indicative of a second language like many many immigrants whose English is not their first language. Of course this can create jealousy in others that are not as successful as you. It is obvious they are not listening to you and just want to attack you as oppose to praise you for who you are. An accent is one of the most authentic things one can have and helps in paying homage to your ancestry. Your channel is awesome!.
