3:08 1792 twelve year just sits on the shelf there! WOW thats awesome! I need to head your way!
That placed prices were crazy. There’s a reason it was sitting there!
Wish I lived someplace where I see 1792 Aged Twelve Years sitting on shelf and don't even pay attention to it.
I yelled at the screen 😂
Nice catch. That seems like a bottle to spend a minute on for the audience 🤔
Man no scotch in the store, what a waste 😅
💯😆
Do you guys drink much 1792? If not you should try more, their products are great! 😋👍
Yea, it's really good! Just never really see any of their special stuff laying around like this!
Great Video
thank you!
Did you really just pass over a 1792 12 year? I have never seen one in the wild! I have never even seen a Early Times BiB never mind the black caps 😆 Dont tell me about discontinued bottles those are my kryptonite… I wish Legends distributed to Mass!
I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THE 12 YEAR!!!!! I zoned out thinking it was all the normal 1792. OK dangit, that's it. I'm driving back over there.................
So jealous!
@@DeanM915 Hey, you can't fool me! We filmed the 2nd episode of the subscriber showcase yesterday (video tomorrow) and I know for a fact you have a WFP sitting on top of your fridge AND IT'S A STORE PICK!!!! I am dripping with jealousy my man!!!
@@Whiskey_Wisdom I know I told you it was a store pick during a live! You told me to put my Venmo in the chat so I could get you one 😂
@@DeanM915 LMAO that definitely sounds like something I would say!
Y’all missed the store pick eagle rare at Jax on Friday
WHAT! NO WAY!
That 1792 Aged Twelve Years! How much was that?!
$199, I bought the last one.
Sam Houston is really good… not worth 200, but I see it for 150 regularly and as low as 130. It’s worth 130
Quite possibly the worst prices for shelf bourbons I’ve seen in GA
Sam Houston 15 yr was a great pour. It is from the bottlers of Calumet Farms.
I love both calumet farm bottles I have, I guess I'm going to have to snag it.
At $200 it's a bit priced up though.
@@apeekintime everything there was priced up. Probably why the 12 year was still there.
Pretty sure it’s near there, place called Corners. Give it a look. Found my first yea cmon there and passed up a couple other interesting bottles because my bar cabinet is overflowing.
ok, I'll look it up and swing by. From these comments it sounds like I'll have to grab some bottles from this store that I missed out on anyway
Have you guys seen Little Book Chapter 7 out and about yet?
No! I have not seen it anywhere yet
@@Whiskey_Wisdom it’s in Canada. What the front door?
Watershed is pretty solid. And they make a really good apple brandy, and take those brandy barrels to flavor proof some of their whiskey. Love it.
Awesome thanks for the info!
I hear Watershed is good. I was at my local store, and a guy told me that it was one of his favorites. I got a bottle of the BiB, but have not cracked it.
Sam Houston, I think by same people that do Calumet. There are several videos that compares them. They had a different 1792 bottle next to the small batch. It looked to be the one aged for 12 years, the one with tan color stripe at neck, around min 3:08
Wait a second, you're right... I may have to go back and see what that was.
It was
Love it guys! That 13th Colony Sour Mash is discontinued! Good pour! Cheers!!
We thought of you the second we saw it! Do you want us to snag it for you?
@@Whiskey_Wisdom I am good! The ASW Druid Hills is something I haven’t seen! Do you have the specs on it?
@@echoesineternitybourbon Yea, I'll send you some pics of the bottle, that was one we bought.
I would definitely grab the Sam Houston and that Larceny C922.
Honestly no way I would left without at least one bottle of that Larceny but I’m a larceny barrel proof fan and that one is really good to me. I’ve only ever seen one and I bought it. If I ever see another one I’ll buy it too. Lol
I love the C922 bottles! OK, I'll get the Sam Houston.
Johns Creek was my old stomping grounds. I used to live a couple of miles from it. Sam Houston I’ve heard is really good and not one you find out on the shelf too often. Appreciate the hunt
Thanks for the info, where about did you live?
@@Whiskey_Wisdom Riverwalk subdivision about 20 yrs ago. My wife still has family in Roswell and Buckhead so I get back from time to time.
IIRC King Ranch was TX and CA only. Supposedly another batch coming, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Great selection but their prices are crazy!
Yes, agreed!
Sam Houston 15 year Barton, same company that bottles Calumet Farm, haven't tasted it but supposedly better than Calumet 15, comparable to Calumet 16. Should be $139 - $149 ar 200 its a pass. Did you guys scan right past a 1792 12 year or am I blind? If so you screwed up.
Definitely go back and grab that Watershed nocino barrel finish. It's delicious
ok! Sounds like we might have to go back here after all!
Interesting shop
When the employee asked if you needed help but then didn’t know anything, my brain went to that scene from Parks and Rec where Ron Swanson is at Lowe’s. “do you need any help?” “I know more than you.” 😂 interesting finds!
LOL!!! Brandon said this EXACT SAME THING IN THE CAR WHEN WE LEFT!!!!!
But also, you said no we’re good and proceeded to ask him multiple questions. I think store guy did you 😂
