Getting a self care package is so nice postpartum, especially bc I feel like everyone wants to buy the baby things when you need love too🥺 although if she didn’t have a c section she can’t use those bath salts until she is 6 weeks post partum at least. That book is really good btw! I’ve read and omg the mom and her daughter made me almost cry and then the sisters story and the last chapter made me cry! It’s so good & I’ve wanted to read the whole series so badly

I read 'before the coffee gets cold' and I did really like it. Though I did think that the first story was kind of hard to follow... but persevere because the other stories are really good!

Heyyyy, i read all 4 books before the coffee gets cold. At first it was a play, so the style how it's written is a bit different but I like it. It has better and not that good stories, but I cried many times. I recommend. Love youuu 💚

I loooove Before the Coffee Gets Cold. I think its my favorite book ever. Cried pretty much the whole time lol. The book is a part of a series (4 books so far). You should definitely read the other ones too!

And for the daylist! I literally looked mine up yesterday after hearing you mention it in your podcast and mines called
“Melancholy downtown vibes Monday evening”
Consisting of lana del Rey, cigarettes after sex, suki Waterhouse, etc.
I actually ended up reading the last book of that series first which was alright since they have that different experience of someone visiting the cafe for each chapter. I will say they all have the similarity of the “In denial” about the cafe’s ability to returning back to the past and each person’s story of why they want to go back. I feel like I get hooked when they start going back in time and that’s when I get the most emotional and end up finishing the chapter quickly LOL. I started reading the first book of the series and it took a while for me to finish the first chapter just because it explains the whole lore behind the cafe. All in all, each chapter has that sense of sentimentality because they feel like personal, vulnerable stories and it gets me in my feels each time I finish a chapter.
