- The Nissan GT-R R35 has run it's course, it's time for the replacement. Possibly the last of the petrol Nissan GTRs, so the Nissan R36 GTR better be one of the best yet. We test a concept in Assetto Corsa back to back with a Nissan Skyline R34 GTR!

@@ca5cada4eva the R33 are winged aligned with the indicators on the middle
R34 are a bit above same like the R35 the indicators are in the middle of the circle
Take the r33 and the r34 tail lights and make a line for each one
The R36 conecpt looks cleaner smoother, simpler, less busy with the design. However, the design looks like modern take on the R33 and the R33 is my favourite Skyline!
R33 actially looks really good. Not as tame as the r32, but unlike the r34 it still has some nice lineflow.
And it isn't as overrated as the r32 and r34.
Yeah i actually preffered the look of the r33 over to the r32. The problem is, I don't like how Nissan input those hazard lights/blinkers, which is why I don't like the rear
I feel like the front of the concept looks more like the r34, the side profile like the r35, and the rear like the r33
The front grill looks like it comes from an R33, and that it has the lower air vents from the facelifted r35, which allways look like the ones on the new m2 and I really like this vent design.

I would imagine that boils down to similarities in platform and parts. Maybe close enough to not make a distinction in their minds...idk though honestly.

the sad thing is this looks so good and looks like a genuine design nissan would make meaning well literally not see it look like this and itll be horrible
the rear end looks very ferrari 550 maranello to me but i quite like it. front end gives me modernized r34 with some gt3 styling. normally im a flashy colour kinda guy but that grey looks quite nice if it didnt have those blue accents

This R36 design looks awesome! The front end actually remindes very much me at the new M2.

That R36 is a redesign of the R35 by Avante Design, which I believe is a UK based tuner. It's a real kit that you can put on your GTR.
I wish the headlights were a little more aggressive upwards on the sides

The front looks like the fan made art design of the R35 if it kept the same light & bumper design as the R34.
Nitpick: I always hated the long & slim R35 lights, if they made those lights sit horizontally like the previous models then sure.

I dont know what it is, but the rear with the taillights look a little awkward. it almost look like the rear of a corvette, its too wide and rounded.

dont really like the roofline, the rest is fine. Front has hardcore R34 vibes and the back feels a lot like a mix form of the R35 + tailights and details of a R34. Seems more like an amalgamation between R34 and R35 then a real succesor. Yes it should have elements of the older generations, but at the same time it should be an evolution of the older designs and not a mix of them.
And i feel the back is just to high, side profil looks like a mk4 supra with a snub nose front (to explain it badly).
