    Почему данную методику не применяют в языковой школе для иностранцев. Объяснил коротко, доступно и понятно. Просто чудо, этот преподаватель датского языка. Большое спасибо.

    Really useful, though I have to say I can't hear the difference between some of those front vowels (yet)! My problem not yours, you do a great job, and I personally think it's better you do it all in Danish, so as to get some immersion in the language. Mange tak!

    Hej Allan
    Tak for de fine videoer.
    Kunne du vel ikke lave nogle videoer om intonation eller sætningsmelodi i det danske sprog.

    Thank you for this table! I just started to learn danish and I have a question. Which of these sounds in your table corresponds to the [ə] sound, like the last letter in mene, balle?

    • @Thestewartgirl
      @Thestewartgirl 3 года назад

      I have the same question :)

    • @philiposhea5285
      @philiposhea5285 Год назад

      None of them. [ə] is a central vowel. All the sounds in the table are front vowels (1st two columns) and back vowels (3rd column).

    The Y and the ø sounds pretty much the same right? Or maybe i am deaf :c
    Great video! Very helpful :D

    • @manus553
      @manus553 6 лет назад +1

      I read this comment on another youtube video & it has helped me somewhat. The 'y' sounds like the "ee" in "keep" with rounded lips (which makes sense if you look at the IPA vowel chart). The 'ø' sounds like the "ur" in "turn" with rounded lips.

    Which dunderhead put Spanish translation over Danish, now it all translates as Spanish. "Hola, bienvenido a "Dansk udtale". Me llamo Allan..." Tak dig!

      Well, Spanish is my native language so it is nice to have subtitles in that language.
      But putting Spanish subtitles on the Danish option is so damn silly!

    I mine videoer kalder jeg y, ø og ö for midttungevokaler. Det er de ikke! De er rundede fortungevokaler!

    Hvilket fonetisk tegn er det tredje, i "Y-rækken" - kan ikke helt finde ud af det? Det lyder lidt som "Schwa"

      [ö] på Dania, [œ] på IPA, eksempel: "søndag"

  • @pm71241
    @pm71241 6 лет назад

    I wish someone would make an IPA version. Everything makes sense in the "Dania" system, but when your goal is to learn IPA converting and comparing with English use of IPA constantly derails on small details.
    Why would anyone transcribe Danish α as IPA ɑ ? ... (as the a in "far") I don't get it. All the pronunciations of IPA ɑ I've found by English speakers (including Wikipedia) are a totally different vowel.

    • @allesindwillkommen
      @allesindwillkommen 5 лет назад

      The IPA symbols would be the following:
      i...y.......u
      e..ø......o
      ɛ..œ.....ɔ
      a---->....ɒ
      ɑ ------>
      The "a" in the Danish word "far" (father) sounds like the "a" in the English word "far" and is transcribed as /ɑ/ in the IPA.
      The problem with the Dania system is that it has never been fully standardized so the same symbol might mean different things in different books. As far as I know, the Dania symbol "α" is often used to mean the IPA /a/ as in the word "kat".

    Hej! Is there any way you could maybe do this video in English? I am trying to learn Dansk and the pronunciation (especially of vowels, R, and the D) is the most difficult. Tak!
