The same people that ask questions like that, are the same people that haven't figured out principles over programs. Since they lack the understanding of the principles they just default to the programs. Personally, I think conjugate is probably the best way to approach strength for almost any sport, but you have to understand the principles of it in order to apply it.
Is this the time for Q&A 😅 a part sport related question today... Intent to improve tennis gpp, only able barbell squat 1x/week. On my 16th week of 10x3 linear progression squat program, I chose it because I felt it mimic closer to a tennis game interval; but my concern is the lack of heav(ier) load. How should I tune this forward: 1. Cycle towards 5x3 then back to 10x3 to build it 2. Work up to top triple, then backdown sets instead. I think in recent tabletalk Jeremy Hamilton mentioned at one point his backdown sets were just bunch of triples (I need to relisten that part) thank you for taking the time to read the comments, all the best into second half of 2024
At the rate we're going i'd be totally cool calling Rippetoe's Starting Strength 'Conjugate'. You mentioned the 'core philosophy' but i never seen a definition that actually makes sense.
Would a conjugate style program be good for some who has powerlifting experience, but hasnt been regularly hitting SBD for 6-8 months because of a bodybuilding show? Or would a more straightforward program be better?
It’s less that the question annoys me - more so that I’m annoyed by everyone else who talks about conjugate that allows the question to be a legitimate inquiry 😂

SSB has blown up my squat in a short amount of time. Truly crazy how it does that

Conjugate is in a very big box with a lot of different compartments inside of it.

An ohmigod nearly nekkid Yukon Cornelius algorithm comment 👍🏽
And you missed the “that’s what she said” opportunity at around 4 minutes
Diet brain is lagging lol
Damn bro, I’m 2 for 2 with pissing off Canadian powerlifters. First Bryce, now Dr. Seth 🤣
