Why did you stop making videos ? You have helped so many people. It is really hard to find someone who is A) so passionate about stats B) speaks in a not dull language with cool examples and easy to understand. I truly admire the way you explain things. Thanks.
Just want to confirm something, this video is years old butI hope someone sees this and answer Is the formula you used to the CI called the wald interval, since you used p hat instead of true success probability (which we don't know) I just learned about the intervals and I just wanna be sure thatI got it right.
It is here, in Mr. Nystrom's last video that we must weep profusely in the last 3 seconds as we realize that our understanding what we're actually doing in stats has come to an end. Rest in peace, Mr. Nystrom....may your beanie stay warm and your beard stay long.
That's correct. Now just subtract the ME (Margin of Error = z-crit * S.D.) from your p hat to get 0.638. You just need to interpret your answer: We are 97% confident that between 63.8 and 84.4% of students regularly copy their homework. (Our p hat was 74.1%.) Make sense?
