Awesome! Born and raised in Detroit, I was a Harpos frequent flyer, back in the 80's... Loved Ace Of Spades Concert Production... There' an awesome story behind that night, as hundreds of others, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing.

hey Stu, I saw the very same line up, of Sabbath, Motorhead and Morbid Angel, only in Cbus Ohio at the Newport around the same time in your reference..it was loud as to be expected, I thought all bands were exceptional that night, I'd never heard of Morbid Angel until then, I thought the lead ax was fast..

Sabbath with 2 org. Members..Iommi..and Geezer..that night..lead singer..probably an American dude..perhaps a fan of the band..i remember Iommi was a wizard on that SG..

@@guitarocd9984 Without Motorhead, you wouldn't have Metallica and a shitload of other bands. NO ONE sounded like Motorhead. If you didn't get it,no one can explain it to you. There are MILLIONS of Motorhead fans. They accomplished a lot. And these guys were loved by other bands and fans alike. To say Motorhead wasn't popular is a strait up lie. This was my time. I graduated in '87. And I'll tell yah just what Lemmy would have said to you. If you don't like Motorhead, they don't care fuck off. Go listen to your hairspray bands
