I used to be really skinny, like 73kg/160lbs. Couldn't even do one. I gained weight from the gym, i'm at 80kg/176lbs now, 2 months in. I can do 2 clean reps where i'm above the bar, and I can pull another 2 but not quite above the bar. My body fat percentage still definitely looks under 15. I gained pure muscle weight by clean bulking. My advice for people who still can't do pullups, is just spam lat pulldowns with highest weight. Also mentally, when you're hanging, you must think the bar is the same bar you pull with a lat pulldown.
They can bust out pull-ups much easier because they have low body fat. The leaner you are the healthier you are. Men with 10-15 percent body fat live the longest

That's a flawed standard. Skinny dudes can bust a bunch of pullups, but can't lift heavy weights for shit.

Not really you need a decent amount of muscle to crank out 10 full pull ups. Im a former skinny dude
Yes and no, most skinny guys can’t do one I know I couldn’t when I was ridiculously slim. I’ve also seen muscular men pull out 10 pull ups with ease.
