He saved spacex and tesla with his own money. This was before any loans or subsidies in 2008 btw. Nobody wanted to invest in those companies until elon doubled down. If those companies didn't work out he would be bankrupt, he literally put his money where his mouth is.

I mainly don't trust him because most things he said are coming in the future are still not here...what happened to the cybertruck, what happened to the semi, full self driving was promised in 2016....Starlinks speeds are worse than promised AND it is horrible for astronomy...SpaceX is blowing through government funds while Elon is against subsidies. All his top engineers are quiting because Elon wants to do things that are not possible and when doesn't even work on them

A fun PR stunt could be to place super charging stations all along the famous Route 66 in the US. Would demonstrate long distance "road trips" are possible with EVs, and I would imagine that permits for stations in middle America should be much easier to obtain. And it would electrify a section of the country that heavily uses trucks, meaning a potential in-road for the Cyber Truck.
You know how expensive, time consuming and inefficient it is to install the infrastructure like that? Far far beyond a “PR stunt”

In the case of car usage one large point is missed. Yes it maybe 20% but al the 5 people need it at the same time. So the problem with sharing is this: joe needs to go to work at 8 am. So does all his neighbors who also need the car. If you can schedule it in some way but its hard.
Adding to the utility of a FSD fleet, think of the number of cars parked in a parking lot, heating up like an oven under the sun and be re-cooled again and again or freezing in the cold and be heated again for offer passenger comfort to get back on the road. It is necessary to study the energy waste of this effect of non-utility period for the current way of using cars!

that won't happen. they can't get it right, they have tried and tried and tried, and even if it "does the worst thing at the worst time" just once in every ten years, it fails to get accepted or certified as safe, and that is exactly what the issue is, it isn't close to perfect, which it needs to be. This is a common problem with Elon, he always over promises, the Hyperloop was supposed to be really easy, but it isn't, due to practical issues that can't be solved with todays technology, which is why he has quietly dumped the idea....

I hear a lot of hating but not a lot of consideration for the person that had the vision of Tesla and SpaceX. Where they will be in the future and what they will do for us. Imagine being on the other end of the bench and having to put all of your expertise, time, money, blood, sweat and tears into something hoping it would be enough to make a difference! Tesla and SpaceX wouldn't be what they are today without Elon Musk. In fact they probably would not exist. Let's look at the man who is a multi-dimensional thinker. Who is only looking out for a humanities best interest. Hearing him be ridiculed by one-dimensional thinkers, I find to be disrespectful. Considering he is the man of the millennium and I don't know if we'll know who the haters are next year, let alone in the next decade! To know and not to do anything is worse than trying and not succeeding. Everything Elon is doing at this moment benefits humanity five to ten years down the road. Think about it before you become too judgmental. It's easy to point the finger but there's always three pointing back at you! I did have over an hour long discussion with Elon back in 2000 about an electric car company that should be named Tesla and a commercialized space exploration program. Unfortunately I didn't think I was in a very good position to help at that time. The past 15 years that I have been trying to contact Elon as you can imagine have not been that successful, considering how busy he is. I still come up with innovative business ideas on a regular basis that I think can benefit both companies. Right now I don't know whether my ideas will be heard but I'd like to think someday they will be. I know it's not been an easy road but luckily for all of us these companies are still growing and need our help. Look forward to meeting and working with you again in the near future. Let's continue shooting for the Moon and Mars. Then we will end up amongst the Stars!
let's be clear here, he put MONEY into those ideas, but he didn't design and build them, top engineers did that, and some of them have given him the finger and formed their own breakaway startups. The ONLY thing you need to look at in any company is the staff turnover rate, things aren't all that shiny and perfect there like everyone seems to think...

I have mentioned to Elon that the infrastructure of Tesla has to be increased by starting a Tesla Texas rental. Considering Texas existing Dealership laws in effect.This will allow more people the opportunity to drive a Tesla for a week or a month allowing them to be the next on the list for a lease or purchase, if so inclined. Also small businesses have to come before the multiple fleet sales by corporations, this allows more distribution of product amongst the population again offering more free word of mouth advertising. So orders under 10 come before orders over 10 or 100 this prevents someone like Herts rental to get all their Tesla's before the starter businesses do. Until production of the Tesla Semi can reach more than 4000 trucks a week I think it is important to keep the fleet sales at 100 trucks or less. If they can Mass produce more than that I would be one of the first to help them with their commercial fleet sales but I also believe in being able to help the smaller businesses get there trucks at the same time and not have to wait in behind for larger orders. So let's shoot for the Moon and Mars, then we will end up amongst the Stars!!
I think Elon is the most switched on person ever I don't consider myself a fanboy as such but he is a terrific inspiration across all age groups to get the best out of everything that he touches and for the right reasons for the betterment of mankind .Every thing in this world is on loan to us this planet is to say the least extremely fragile we all need to leave it in a good place for our offspring and future generations Elon realises this we all need to do our bit and sort out the damn mess and damage that past generations and our own have caused in the name of profitability and greed, I for one am 100 percent all in on Elon Musk Tesla and the mission to halt climate change with green renewables battery storage and non polluting vehicles .

The potential downsides on auto sharing schemes are -
lower auto sales due to sharing
Perhaps offset by people who currently don't own cars now using the new service
And timing conflicts limiting the number of simultaneous users at each time slot. Most people leave for work at roughly the same time. One might need to encourage car pooling as well as flexible work hours to maximum the benefit.

You could also install windows and shudder on the side of your house that faces sun taking advantage of solar heating. Skylights can also be used to keep the attic warm hot to prevent heat from leaving through the roof.

One question he did not get or answer was the actual spot split date on the stock. This has been such a mystery going on since March it's quite confusing to me. I believe if you have a date you would have announced it at the actual sharehold meeting.
