I tried a chinstrap for a day when I was 16 or 17 & shaved it off immediately…🤣! I prefer the full-beard and long beard look and always have been fond of those two styles! Long beard is always the winner though for me…now I just have to grow it 😂🤙
Awesome video bro, I’ve got the same long beard goal, we can do this! I’m growing my second yeard now to hopefully achieve this goal, I started a yeard last year and in month 12 I trimmed my mustache to short so I decided to try the whaler style out, I wish I had just let the mustache grow out but I decided to shave everything off and start over this past January. The beardstache is my personal favorite and love the easy maintenance and edgy style. I did the chin strap when I was younger too it was popular then, I’m 36 now and can’t imagine the maintenance it would take to wear that style again 😂
Hey man, appreciate the support. How's the second yeard going? I'm going to try and keep the beard a little neater growing out so will do the odd cut on length every 4-6 months whilst I grow this out. So no yeard technically for me but it's a great way to grow it out fast. The edginess of the beardstache is what I love too.
@@Beardster the second yeard is going pretty good, I’m fortunate my beard grows fairly even so I don’t get too shabby feeling while growing, when I reach the end of this year I’ll get the ends cleaned up and hopefully start year two up lol unless I get tired of the extra maintenance and the beardstache will return
I'm currently rocking a sort of faded baldo beard, just because my cheeks are somewhat patchy and it just looks better. It's rather easy to maintain, I could probably get away with only doing a maintenance trim every other week. Though I totally see your point that it would take too much maintenance for you. That's the good things about a patchy beard, just like with your chin strap, partial beards are easier to maintain when patchy!
Yes, the Balbo is some up keep but it actually looks good with some stubble aswell. I shave twice a week for it, and it's like having too looks. Beard with stubble and beard clean. Works for me!

My go-tos are full beard( .5 - 1.5 inch), sideburns(think Doctor Who), circle beard goatee, goatee, Abe Lincoln/Short Amish.

Dude! Such a good point here. So many guys give up on beards when it’s patchy but this could be a viable option to have decent beard.

Let it grow, use beard care products, brush it, wash it, dry it properly.
