  • I got a new diagnosis! I wanted to share this with you guys. I won't be making much content about my ADHD diagnosis, but still wanted to give the update. I am interested to learn more about schizophrenia and ADHD
Check out the Creators I mentioned at the end for more info about ADHD:

Unofficially ADHD here! I'm in my early 30s and was unofficially diagnosed through my LCSW therapist over the past year. I started having ADHD videos pop up in my feed since I had been researching autism to help my recently-diagnosed older sister with learning more about it. I suggested the idea of me being ADHD to my therapist, who had wondered about it from the start, and here we are now. I don't plan on pursuing an official diagnosis for medication as I've already learned good coping mechanisms for the larger downsides of my ADHD's wiring. I'm consider myself lucky regarding my ADHD as I consider it my superpower. I relish in my brain going incredibly fast and have reasonably learned how to channel my hyperfocus into what I need to get done. As much as I can, anyway, lack of motivation is still a frequent issue.
I'm glad you were able to and chose to pursue a diagnosis for treatment, Kody! :) I'm fairly new to your channel but loving the content you've published. The more people know about illnesses such as schizophrenia (and any illness, really!), the more equipped they are if they meet or know someone in their lives with it.

I’ve always wondered what would happen if you prove that your hallucination is fake and you square up and rush his ass and try to fight them. Have you tried that?

Too risky. Well, if he’s wrong and that’s actually not a hallucination , he could get charged with assault and could likely get him back in prison. He used to try something like that, he would throw a bottle at his hallucinations, sadly he had to stop due to having actually thrown a bottle at someone who was really there.

how does that work? so stimulant increases dopamine but antipsychotic decreases dopamine. How do you feel? And what aspects of schizophrenia do u have>?

I commented on one of your shorts and i want to say i have took psychology classes and studied mental disorders and as it turns out very few percent of kids that had adhd as a child can develop more mental disorders and I actually am proof of this study i had adhd as a kid and later developed bipolar disorder i also have anxiety and depression

Many people, particularly women so their research and use self diagnosis to avoid having an Autism diagnosis on their permanent medical records because we can be denied many opportunities in life, like living in another country, adopting children and being denied adequate chronic pain management

    Actual question here
When you are visually hallucinating do you wonder how whatever or whoever you’re seeing got there? Or are you in a “fog” sorta state where you can’t think that far ahead/behind?
Side note: I am very curious cuz I am a newly diagnosed epileptic, and get sorta deja vu of events that either were a dream I had previously or just flat out didn’t happen until I’m having my seizure and I cannot tell which

This might sound like a dumb question 😅
But if you can see the hallucinations are not real with a phone camera then could you wear like a vr or an apple vision and see they are not real?

Have you ever seen the movie 'a beautiful mind' with Russell Crowe? I wonder what your take on the movie is.

Serious question: would anyone with schizophrenia score *low* on adhd assessments?

I'm schizophrenic and I scored very high (positive for ADHD)on the test. They diagnosed me a few months ago.
