  • In this video we are changing the track tension seals on our Kubota SVL 75 Skid steer.
The rubber tracks were no longer maintaining there stretch so we knew that the grease was escaping somewhere and it appears to have been the seals which we changed in this video.
We will take you through the process from start to finish! Any questions leave a comment! Thanks

On some of the grease seals there is a spring in it to keep it tight on the shaft. If it is one that has a spring in it you need to pack it with grease before pounding it in. This will keep the spring in place when the force or shock from the hammer hits it to drive it in. Good job.

Thanks man! We’re not mechanics by any means, but we try to do as much service as we can to maintain and repair our equipment

With these seals being bad, would that make your tracks continue to come loose?

Yup! That’s exactly how we knew they were getting bad. Its happened on other equipment to like dozers and other track skid steers.
