It's a shame the Krakoa era is coming to an end. I really enjoyed what the writers did with the X-Men over the last few years.

Well, if by brave you mean Orchis, then if they are lucky they will only die because this time the mutants will not have mercy on them and death would only be mercy for them.
@@davidosoriomaciel2486well, the mutants are the ones here who are defeated and on the run!! So who is showing no mercy now? Definitely NOT the mutants as they are hunted starting this Fall!
@@matthewloh19 For that reason they are not going to show mercy because they are being hunted and if Orchis did them great damage but did not defeat them, but now they have the motivation they need to destroy them without any guilt.
I feel like they’ll win in the end the whole point of this since dawn of x was to stop krakoa from falling and saving their paradise after several timelines of failure. The fall is probably symbolic of changes coming once the man-machine ascendency starts to rise like Charles Xavier permanently dying to save the dream or losing his reputation with his people.
Nope, they are not going to win! Because ORCHIS manages to turn public opinion against the mutants, so no, they will NOT come out victorious! And yes, Xavier will have to step down and face his failures!

Bruh, krakoa ruined so many characters and teams. I hated it's nonsensical stories. But I guess mutants enjoyed krakoa, xavier prob mind wiped all of them to be happy. I miss the x mansion days.
@fatinachen1888 oh, I'm sorry, did big bad Hickman mess with your precious status quo. The X-Men had been doing the old Mansion thing for years and it was getting stale. Getting more of that wasn't going to pull tgem back from the edge of obscurity. Krakoa was the one thing every single other comic book is allergic to, something new.
And with stories like Sabertooth, X-Men Red, Immortal X-Men, Marauders (first run), Sins of Sinister, I can't see how they ruined everything. Is the problem the fact that it made a lot of characters happier and healthier? If that's not your flavor, just go read Amazing Spider-man

My fav was ruined by krakoa arc. And so many others were too. They use wolverine Jean grey and cyclops for marketing cuz their popular. It's not something new. Genosha utopia also existed. Krakoas new thing just kill any enjoyment for old en fans

It is noticeable that the X-Men and the mutants at this stage are going to fight mercilessly to protect everything they created and if they lose they will take their enemies with them to the grave.
They will, except for the last part where you said they will "take their enemies to the grave"! If they do that, then they will justify Orchis' claims that mutants are evil and must be WIPED OUT!
@@matthewloh19 The main objective of Orchis is to eliminate all the mutants. They know that if they lose against them it is the death of all the mutants, but if they lose they will make sure that Orchis dies with them.
anyone actually reading should know that if krakoa is destroyed by the hellfire gala, there is still arakko. I still like the mutant naion idea, I think best way to still keep it is if the mutant nation/island is moved to the cosmic side whilst various mutants and x-men make their base on earth but are still able to travel to the mutant nation.
That is what is happening in my story. Except Jean creates the planet as the Phoenix.

@@matthewloh19 Fall of X is still labeled as part of the Krakoan Eras. Though they are fighting for the 'survival of Krakoa' the original name for this one was "Autumn of X". I wouldn't count out Krakoa just yet.
The era of smug pseudo-Inhumans is finally over, maybe now the X-Men Mutants will come back.

The Krakoa era has been a great time. Even though this event will end it, it comes off as being much less mean spirited as Death of X and the big dumb Inhumans push a few years ago.

I think many mutants will start to share Magnetos desire for survival at all costs. I think this has ultimately tested Xavier’s hopes. It’s sad to be honest.

It is still part of the Krakoan eras. Immortal X-Men still takes place on Krakoa as per the map and X-Men Red is still on Arakko. Most of the stories pick up right after Destiny of X though with some new twists and elements of course.

Following the conclusion to Fall of X with the Fall & Rise of the House & Powers of X dual miniseries, there could be an omnibus featuring the Krakoan Age X-Men with all 4 of the initiatives.

Things have been getting worse and worse since House of M. The Krakoa era has been a ray of sunshine in the bleak world of the X-men. IMHO it seems like it might be ending too soon. I hope that there is a solid direction in whatever follows.

This looks good guys! I grew up with and collected the 'uncanny' from early 1980s to early 1990s...and I am forever greatful for the stories, the comics and the many lawns mowed to buy the comics, evading my dad's punishment for misdeeds by forbidding me from buying a few comic books only for me to buy them anyways and smuggle them home by tucking them under my shirt or under the car seat. THAT was an adventure unto itself! I hope this current generation enjoys them as much as I did...respect your parents! but nothing like secretly keeping up with the x-men adventures!
I think the one i'm excited for the most is Uncanny Spiderman, Nightcrawler suit looks awesome and he's a fantastic character

It's literally the mutants who didn't want humanity. The X-Men, Xavier foremost among them, became hypocrites. Isolation from and exaltation above humanity became their downfall. Xavier founded the X-Men to bring humans and mutants together as equals, not push mutants above and away from humanity!

And yet, mutants are killed, attacked, hunted for parts,etc. One nation was built, 16 million mutants are killed. Another nation is built, it's constantly under attack till the mutants abandon it. Mutant Outreach centers, attacked. Schools, attacked. When 90% of the mutant population disappeared, the rest of them were hunted down like animals. There's only so much people can take. And this wasn't acting like they were above humans, this was building a home and not caring

Also, the blurb for Judgment Day literally said "The X-Men have achieved immortality and mutants have taken their place as the *dominant species* on the planet"! I just don't see how teleporting the mutants to different locations is that much of a problem for them.
The 10x on *GPT44X* is realistic because they planned it for so long and it's a very powerful brand something which is unusual for these things. Compare random frog and dog asset with this and you know what I mean

We will just have to wait and see for all those things to happen or not!
Sometimes I miss the old stories where the heroes thwarted the bad guys, two or three books later, hero prevails and the next bad guy comes up. Too many Epic World Altering Events now, too much Human vs Mutant angst. I'm not saying we should go back to the 80s, but sometimes just let the heroes be heroes.
