She has a voice for alternative indie music! Forcing her to be like her mother because she's the daughter of Whitney or the daughter of Bobby is absolutely ridiculous. The moment she opened her mouth you could tell what direction her voice leaned to. It was beautiful! Even if they kept her in r&b or black pop you have to fit the voice. Seeing this again as an adult makes me sad

I love her naturally rasp in her low register, very unique, very bluesy. Just all around tragic. My son asked me yesterday about Whitney, and what happened to her. He was one when she passed away. I began to weep. I told him, you really want to know? Her demons ate her, they were demons she never deserved to have. Whitney was a well known smoker, Clive Davis is on record as having confronted her numerous times about it but she honestly never needed to quit for vocal quality. Bobbi may have been a smoker, but she developed the blues through her smoking, and her tragedies. She sadly was collateral in all of those tragedies, she couldn’t live without her mom. I told my son, it’s just one of the most tragic stories in pop history.

Whitney Houston was a vocal prodigy. Her voice is the platinum standard of what a woman's voice should be. Whitney's rendition of the star spangled banner is noted by critics as being the definitive version of the national anthem in history of the song. There aren't enough superlatives to describe how awesome Whitney was. I love the way she sung live. ( RUclips HER SONG "THIS DAY"), I'm supremely confident that you will be impressed. She was the rare artist who could interpret a live vocal performance in a million different ways and make it sound better than the studio version. Her ability to play with melody was underrated genius. Listening to her sing was pure ambrosia. Whitney Elizabeth Houston was a "Tour De Force" and left an unmatched musical legacy. I can’t imagine being made to believe I had to live up to one of THE greatest singers of all time…. Like that’s enough to make you want to check out of life…. Imagine the number of people who told her she wasn’t good enough or asked why she didn’t have he mothers voice…. Not understanding that she’s still a product of two great artists and is bound to have her OWN voice.

Not bad at all. Whitney Houston had an angelic voice because she learned to sing from the choir of her church. Came from heaven and returned to heaven too soon. Rest In Peace, mother and daughter.

"talk about pressure"....no, she was no Whitney- but that was the PROBLEM! She was NOT just an extension of her Mom- she was a SEPARATE person who could've been something DIFFERENT then music- but nobody ever gave her a chance!!! RIP BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN. Another casualty of the young people who are dying all over this country....when are we going to DO something about it?

@@thatgirlvee2 takes training, breath support etc, singing comes naturally to no one, the fundamentals must be taught and then slowly mastered over time. Did you dribble a basketball properly without any practice when you first held one? Doubt it. The girl was untrained, with some diaphragmatic support she could've went far I believe, very lovely tone that many altos would die for.

I love music and it is like therapy to me. My terms to describe Bobbi Kristina’s voice may not be accurate but here it is..the ‘colors’ in her voice, soprano (?), just like her mom. Whitney’s power and volume are legendary and I always loved when she hit those soprano-type registers..I heard some of that in Bobbi 🌹

I always thought she was a beautiful girl but its evident that she had a story to tell that was weighing heavy in her heart even as a little girl, I always said she seems so melancholic but it wasnt her fault she seemed that way(as a young girl)it was her environment ..
Its so sad a life lost too soon.

shouldn't have tried pursuing a singing career..... Her singing voice is
in the same league as Brittany Spears and she became an icon with that

I relate to her so much! I lost my mom to an overdose when I was 18. She was 49 years old and me and my sister found her. I also turned to drugs and alcohol. I lost my nursing career and more than anything, I lost myself to an addiction to Xanax. I got arrested and entered into the intervention program for nurses! God saved my life with these interventions! I was able to give my life to God and find myself! I’m now married to the love of my life, I’ve been a nurse at the same company for 7 years, and I’ve been free from active addiction to drugs for over 11 years! Praise God!! I’m so beyond grateful to break this generational curse!! With God all things are possible!!

No one would ever sing like she did.
