Wow, What an amazing personality. The bass is very cool but he player my freinds puts it on a whole nother level. I have been blessed to see this guy in action. Oh yea I am buying this model and the only reason why I even saw this video. Keep it coming my freind you are amazing to say the least.
The SR-500 was my first "real" bass but I sold it because of its dull finish, I bought a SR-1800 and love it. You got it looking real nice, much better finish now.
Thank you Johnny a week ago I went down to guitar center to check what they had and I try that exact bass and felt in love with it it was smooth it power to it and could hear every note I'm not usually a fan of Ibanez but that in my hands just felt right and watching this confirmed it for me I'm getting this bass and a plus I use Roto sound string too lol thanks man

My brother have sr800 from 91 japan..i changed crapy eletronics for some cheap good one artec se3 ..now bass sounds as it should :) no more 240hz mudy sound,and bass freq goes bellow 40hz ;) if you want me upload sample sound of it to ytb just say word ..sharakaka man
Anyone know if the RS Jazz 77 5-string set would work well? (Low B tension/buzz issues?) I got an Ibanez SR655 with p/j pickups and I love it! But I miss flat-wound strings... anyway thanks, awesome demo as usual.
Having action too low till fret noise prevalent sound like sh## . I’ve heard dudes playing thinking they sounding great when in essence they sounded a garbled mess of fret noise . Fret noise don’t sound good .
Nice looking bass but they sound like crap. Over the Guitar Center trying them out but there muddy and hollow!!! If I’m buying cheap I’d go Yamaha. Sorry just my taste.
Hey DaveMP!!! No Need To Apologize. Everyone Has Their Preferences So Far As Instruments Are Concerned. I Have A Yamaha Too & IT Sounds FANTASTIC. I've Been Blessed To Find Wonderful Instruments That Speak & Live EVERY Time I've Purchased One. So Far As The SR500, Did It Have Bartolini Pickups?
