i was nervous before clicking on this video because i just ordered the exact ukulele today and i’m glad now and thanks for this video! you inspired me to get an ukulele since i’ve since a few of your tutorials before
I just started learning the ukulele this year and bought a Donner because of the price and I have LOVED it!! I'm also so grateful for your videos, they have helped a ton with learning new chords and fingerpicking patterns. You also have a beautiful singing voice! Keep the awesome videos coming!! 💛💛💛
I've had my Donner tenor uke for about 3 years now. It was good new. It's great now. I can pick it up after a week of not playing it and it's always in tune. The wood has aged and the sound is wonderful. The only negative thing I can think of after years of use is that the tiny round/clear plastic tuner gear covers can pop out. I place this brand in the same category as Aklot ukuleles. Fantastic bargain for a quality instrument.
I have this uke and found it sounds great with a low G. If you get one you should give it a try. You can always change it back if you don't like it. I've discovered some ukes sound great with low G's and some just don't....this one does. At least mine does.
I got this ukulele last year just to see if I would like playing. It’s a great uke. I upgraded at Christmas to a Flight Victoria tenor with low G so now I hardly play it but I would definitely recommend it.
I have a Donner Tenor (DUT-1) that I've owned for about 5 years and it plays great and the nuts hold the tune very well. In fact only new strings need adjusting/tightening for a few weeks but then it's set. I think it's a great uke for the money and the quality is up there with other more expensive ukes. I bought my son a Donner concert uke with a pickup and he plays it with his school band and his buddies when they jam. Donner is underrated and hope they stay affordable! 🤙🏼
Hell yeah, just ordered a tenor today. My mom got my 1 year old son a toy Spider-Man Uke, and I’ve been playing with it more than him. Figured it was time for a legit one, can’t wait for it to arrive Monday.
Donner is a good beginner starter ukulele. But, is it also good for someone who is trying to advance from beginner to intermediate. I have been practising on my own with YT tutorials the past 14 months.
I bought ukulele from a Chinese website Oh my God, I really regret the strings are very strange and facilitated the cutting and the great problem is that when I put my fingers on three strings together it never comes out of a sound I don't know what the problem is but I am so poor that I will accept this situation until I become a little richer and buy a real one

Ahhh! When the potato plush said hello!! 😭😍
Should we make the potato talk more in videos? :)
@@rickysomborn yesss you should!
That's funny 🤗
@rickysomborn I have the Donner DUC-200 It's an amazing concert ukulele.
I'm thinking about getting the donner left-handed cutaway uke for my nephew
I'm new with ukulele world, still don't have one bc I don't know if soprano and concert could be replaced with low G string?
It’s good I had it for a while to see if I like playing uke but I ended up breaking it and am getting a new one tomorrow
Do you think the soprano would be the same good quality? I am thinking of getting that one for my kiddos who are trying out ukulele lessons.
What size is best for a small adult with really short fingers and small hands?
Omg his smile 😩👌
I swear I love how honest he is
I have a question. If you decide you really like playing and are super good, is it worth getting a higher quality uke? Thanks!
Good review 🧡
🤗👍👏🤗
Is it pronounced Donner or Doner?
Donner :) I think i might have said "doner" as well in the video haha
@@rickysomborn LOL, yeah you said it both ways & I was all confused. 😀
It is Donner!~ Welcome to have a look at our channel or website!
