    DUS400 as written on the inside sticker. S stands obviously for Soprano.

      Yes, that’s true, but the model is still the DUC400. Don’t ask me why, but that’s just what it’s called. Literally, that is the info from the company I was given. 🤔 I wondered the same thing though! When I reviewed this, it was very new, so maybe that had to do with it? I ended up giving feedback to the company for the same reason you pointed out and I found it to be confusing on the website too and I think/hope some changes have been made. Overall, it is still a good product for the price, even if the model name has some confusion!

    Would it be best to get my 16 yr old daughter the 21 inch since she is going to be a beginner? I'm so glad to have found your channel. Very informative videos! Thank you for any advice in advance! 😊

      Yes. Definitely start with a soprano or concert size. 21 inch in most cases will be a soprano. This Donner would be a great choice! Plus since it comes in a kit, she’ll have everything else she needs to get started and it’ll take her through playing for a long time :)

      @@CoryTeachesMusic I just got my daughter's ukulele yesterday by UPS. Donner is actually a pretty awesome company. They emailed me to let me know how this instrument needs to be cared for. They also gave me several bits of advice for being a beginner. It was packed with extreme care by the company as well. I highly recommend The Donner Company to your subscribers. You won't be disappointed !

      My favorite string brand are the aquila type and then the blue packaged ones-can’t remember the full title!

    Presently in Oct 2023. I can not find this model Donner DUS400.
    Is the available Donner soprano mahogany equivalent?

    Hey Cory, I am just looking to buy this ukulele on Ebay. I was wondering since I see you play it left hand, is there any difference in this ukulele for left and right handers? Thanks 💚

    • @CoryTeachesMusic
      @CoryTeachesMusic  3 года назад +1

      Hi! I play right handed. Right handed playing is when you make chords with your left hand and strum/pick with your right hand. Left handed is the reverse :)
