I got burnt out quick with cleaning for like 2-3 hours every weekend. Now, I set a timer for 30 mins everyday and get as much done as I can. It has been a game changer and the house stays clean.

I own a house and a tip I learned from another youtuber to not overwhelm yourself, especially with kids. Do one part of the house a day, you can split it into two parts. I set a timer for myself when I start, that way once the timer goes off, I complete where I am at, and stop. Cleaning a whole house is very tiring and stressful. Your hair looks so pretty! That’s such a great idea, I’ve been volunteering with The Gathering in Wisconsin for about 10 years and they are such a great organization. They have a really good relationship with hotels, restaurants like McDonald’s and Starbucks, local grocery stores and I’m sure more places. They get things that the businesses are throwing out and provide it to the homeless, it’s pretty cool. I wish you success on this venture!
And gift cards for meals work also , like if you don’t want to transport food or whatever..❤

Also I know you said you are having a hard time getting quiet time in the morning with kids, I have a suggestion to make your closet room into a prayer room where you go in there and talk to God and put your prayer board and sticky notes with people who you are praying for/Bible time. We just bought our first house as well and in our extra room I’m turning the closet into my prayer room. Its been my goal to do a prayer room for about a year now and I finally get to do one. Every year around Christmas time my family and i make care packages, similar to how you are doing the backpacks. We would go to the dollar store , walmart, or target to buy travel sized hygiene products like toothpaste/toothpaste deodorant bosy cream chapsticks socks and feminine hygiene for the ladies/girls. Its very heartwarming when you can give even if its just a little. Every once in a while my mom and i randomly just go to the bank to get at least $50 and we’d give anyone who was out $5/$10 dollars until we ran out.

That’s great my mom is a pastor and we make hygiene bags with socks. We did separate bags for men and women like pads and other essentials. She also does a food ministry and makes food boxes and passes out food.
