Hey kennna I’d highly recommend planting or getting plants that repell spiders they hate marigolds I know they have those at like lowes ,hope depo id get a whole bunch around the house you can also make a essential oil blend of lemon grass ,mint,citronella and mix it with water or rubbing alcohol and spray around the house and outside you can also plant certain plants that would seem like a fun activity to do with the kiddos ❤

Mckenna I'm an esthetician and just wanted to give you some skincare advice. The breakouts are most likely caused by hormones since they are cystic so topical skincare really won't do much to prevent it. But I'd recommend a simple skincare routine: basic cleanser (no active ingredients), vitamin c serum (if it doesn't cause you to break out) in the morning / retinoid (differin is a good one for acne) at night, a basic moisturizer and sunscreen in the morning. Hope that helps!
That’s exactly what mine told me and it works. You’re spot on. Never mix vitamin c (day) and retinol (night). I almost did one but remembered my girl telling me don’t do it!

Hey Mckenna! I experienced similar issues with spiders when I bought my house. It was a new construction home. I ended up calling an exterminator. They told me that it’s common with new construction homes for bugs to come in on the building materials like insulation. They came and sprayed everywhere including my attic and crawl space and it calmed down a lot.
I hope she calls them! Scary!
Yes me as well I even had issues with field mice I started to sell my new Home I was irritated and Scared and I had an construction guy and exterminator come in they said because it was built from the ground up that’s why but we definitely got everything sealed and cleared up because Chile it was exhausting 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️😂😂😂😂😂yes attic’s had to be done I didn’t miss nothing ❤️

I moved to an apartment where they do not spray anything for the bugs and I was feeling the same way. but then I remembered there are plug ins on amazon that repells pests with an ultrasound that you can't hear. its amazing and actually does work, it can be used outside too. girl I highly recommend them! otherwise thank you for that highly inspiring q+a and always keeping us on point with self care tips

Hey McKenna, first of all, I love your videos! About the spiders, we had the same problem last year, big black spiders all over the house coming from nowhere. Turns out that it was because of the plant that we had next to the house which grew from the ground against the wall and underneath it they laid their eggs and made a whole team😂😂 Now we took out the whole plant and (LUCKILY) we haven't seen any of them anymore. So maybe you have some plants growing close to the house that are causing the problem? I hope that this will help! ❤️

McKenna the bug situation improved a lot after about 1-2 months of living in my new construction home! I’m in houston the bugs are wild here too lol I’m not sure which service you are using but with my pest control I can call them if we’re having a specific issue and they’ll come do extra spray no charge ❤ congrats on your beautiful home ❤❤❤

hey McKenna girl!! i’ve left this comment before, when you asked how to keep your floors more clean, but this can also help with the spiders too, no outside shoes in the house! i know they could be getting in for a numerous of reasons, construction, window left open, 1 got in and left eggs, BUT also remember we can’t see everything and our shoes from outside hold a lot of germs, dirt, and debris that the human eye can’t see. there could be eggs on your shoes and they’ve been brought in that way. at this point it would be good to get an exterminator because it’s one too many up in your home 😭 but for the future no outside shoes inside would probably help that issue and help to keep your floors more clean 🥰🥰

New builds have infestations because of all the moving of dirt and land during the build. They get into the foundation and stuff. Just keep up on the exterminator inside and outside. It’s going to make them come out initially, but over time it will make them go away. Repeated visits and just maintaining a pest service, which I think you said you are already doing. It’s annoying tho, because it is going to take multiple visits from pest people to remedy the situation.
