The crowd on the pier was enjoying the ship’s arrival, but the horn salute from the lift bridge must have upset the youngster. I gotta admit, I never expected to hear crying in the audio on one of your videos, Paul. It’s just part of what makes your videos so enjoyable. 👍🏼
@@scottburns2600 That wasn't what caused the bow damage, it was actually it's second collision with a saltwater ship on the St. Laurence back in July of 2022.
Sounds like the horn settings were on "frozen winter"
LOL, I was going to put "raspy voice too" in the title....
Nothing wrong with the Atlantic Heron's horn! Let's hope she gets the best plastic surgeon Beverly Hills and Frazier Shipyard has to offer...📣👃
LOL!!
She looks like a Canadian hockey tough guy. They all got bent noses. 😅

Awesome footage Paul!!
Very nice piece. As always you really capture the spectator reaction to the arrival. Poor kid didn't seem to enjoy the salute. Let's play hockey? 🤔🤔🤔

How did she manage to get her nose flattened??
If I'm remembering correctly she hit a pier approaching the Soo Locks. ✌️🇨🇦
She collided with a Canadian Coast Guard ship
She's riding unusually high in the water, is she heading to a repair dock?
Coming in under ballast to load ore.
How did the nose get broken?
Collision with the CCGC Griffon a few years back
As Scott stated, a little mishap with a CG vessel.
Crowd noise, such as whiney crying children, take away from the experience. A very attractive ship, an otherwise good video!
You sound a little whiney yourself.
It happens, thanks.
If only we could mute unwanted sounds in real life...
