This product can be installed on a v6 dodge challenger
For anyone who’s interested in this Corsa CAI.. I just wanted to say that I was skeptical of the performance gains and whatnot. Not going to lie or mislead anyone, but the install of this product is pretty frustrating. I have a Chrysler 300C and the cord that plugs into the MAF sensor is too short and trying to readjust the tubing will cause them to kink out of place. After a long and frustrating install day, (whatever you do, don’t drop the rubber grommet) I just wanted to say that there is a very noticeable gain in power. I was running a Diablo tune, K&N performance air filter, and 85mm BBK TB which wasn’t really all that great. The Corsa CAI delivers what seems like a nice bump in power and it makes your hemi sound incredible. Paired with the Diablo tune, it’s hard not to chirp the tires. Very impressed so far!
The scoo worked on the 300 and you noticed gains after having other mods and just adding this.?
@@willroser4492 I did my mods on that car all around the same time. What I noticed was after the car was tuned THEN I added the corsa intake I noticed a lot better throttle response and the engine intake sounded great. Unfortunately I totaled that car earlier this year due to snow and ice 😞
will there still be as much cool air coming in without that extra tubing?
Where the dyno results
will water get into the lower inlet??
Wil check engine light pop up on a 2021 Chrysler 300 v8?
What about chargers with the ram air tube connected to the airbox? Do I really have to take the entire front bumper off? Corsa dropped the ball big time.
Please do not get. the tube sits right on top of the belt. It does not fit. Literally rubbed a hole through it. In the process of sending it back now
What car, model, and year do you have?
will this fit a 90mm throtte body
Hydrolocking Danger increased due to that extension tube. At the Dealership, they have plenty of locked up engines with bent rods, valves and damaged blocks.
Even with the factory box, the minimally inlet is susceptible to sucking up water. Nice box, but If you live in Florida, or other flood prone areas..no way.
Zero chance of that extension tube sucking up water. The box would have to be completely sealed and that extension tube would have to be the only inlet, and as you can see, there is a huge hole in the side of box behind the headlight.
@@sixsixST2 exactly!!
Does it fit on the rt shaker 2015? And can I add hellcat Inlets to it? I’m wondering if I can do both and I just started to know a little bit about these type of stuff.
Why can't we have a close air box for our s197 mustang
You can! Open element filters just seem to be a little more common. Not sure what year 4.6L or 5.0L you have but take a look at the following links for two examples of closed box intakes available for our Mustang fam. 😁 -Zach

@@AmericanMuscleDodge woah thanks brotha, i have a 07 4.6 l it says its for 05-06 will it fit for a 07 anyways?
Damn i just noticed they are out of stock LOL could you restock them by any chance please
Sorry for the late reply here! You're gonna want to make sure you get an option that fits your specific year range. There are some slight differences in S197s in those early years. You'll guarantee better fitment and better performance that way. -Zach
Considering my intake temps with the stock airbox are usually 7-15 degrees warmer than ambient air temps, we’re not talking about a huge reduction of intake temps. So what other advantages are there to using this intake? Please convince me why I need one.
It has been proven with dyno results that CAIs don't really add any HP or torque gains on these cars. Just assume that a little cooler air going in the engine will prolong the engine life and thats about it.
Nice! Do you have to disassemble to change the filter?
Yes. And it's a pain. But at least its long time in between..
sean1679 I’d like to see a video of how to change the filter. Do you know of one?
Uh.. Wouldn't it be this video in reverse? Also I think you can go to American Muscle for the pdf instructions.
@@sean1679 Think he's wondering if it all needs to come apart. I was thinking the same thing.
Yes, it basically needs to come apart completely..
Do they make one to fit a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7l hemi v8?
I'm sure they do! I'd highly recommend either getting in touch with Corsa or checking out their website. Since we focus on Mustangs and Challengers here at AM, we would not carry it. Best of luck with the WK! -Zach
Will this also work on a chrysler 300s with the 5.7?
Hey, James! I would highly recommend giving Corsa a call to see if it will fit, for sure. It may fit, but since we don't carry Chrysler 300 parts we really can't confirm fitment. -Zach
This one or injen???
Both are great options! -Zach
