- Marvel rivals is in closed alpha and I've been winning a lot of games with Storm (Lucio has nothing on her) so let's take a look at her abilities, skills, passives, and a real matches with her.

Way I wish Storm was
Abilities: Lightning group strike, a slowing blizzard, rain storm that causes enemies to be soaked and increases lightning attacks damage, strong winds that push back enemies
ULT: summons a tornado with rain along with tons of lightning strikes that ends with a strong lightning strike that allows u to direct it
yea.... i wish she had more storm-like abilities instead of just floating there spaming wind blade~
I wish her two offensive abilities didn’t feel so samey. Makes her kit feel kinda boring on offense.
They are quite different. LMB is a projectile with damage falloff with unlimited range. Her RMB is a hitscan lightning short radius AOE. The lightning attack has a medium max range.
She really needs a third skill to create a blizzard or hail storm for more crowd control or fog to help her create cover. I really hope they update that bolt animation too. It’s sooo lackluster compared to the visuals in other kits
Love her. But I think she’d be better as a strategist.
My idea- change her primary fire to a beam of lighting. It’ll do less dmg than Wanda’s attack but auto lock like hers.
Change her lighting attack to an area of effect move. She can target a location and have there be hail or snow. I think this could do like anti heal, or reduce the healing in the area .
We keep her wind movement buff but change the other option to a “healing rain” aura.
Keep the boost mechanic but have it also boost teammates speed and healing depending on aura. The healing one will then become more of a thunder/ rain and still have that lighting effect on enemies.
Then finally I think her ult could honestly be the same. Don’t think every strategist needs a healing ult.
This will keep her identity as a mutant all powerful weather goddess while making her a little more useful than she is now. She’ll definitely be more of an off support but I think it’ll work
I think it's a good idea, I don't think the devs want it to be so reminiscent of lucio, more than she is
@@tswrangle1000 yeah it’s a little similar to him lol. But she needs more for sure. It’s dumb that hella can two shot but it takes 5 wind blades to get a kill with her

Haven't been able to get a key for the alpha, but when the open beta comes out, I'm definitely maining her, Magik, and Magneto.
Pretty sure next thing is a closed beta and you get a key by playing the alpha

From what I've seen people are completely underutilising her movement speed buff. She's all about providing a lot of utility to her team, while also doing a lot of poke damage from mid-range.
The storm tech is while amped insta swap between lightning and hurricane just to frame get the strike then go to hurricane and then go back to just keep getting 1 frames if the lightning strike

She seems like a lot of fun actually. If they buff her projectile size I think she’ll be perfect.

They need to change that lightning ability to something else. Like a lightning bolt raining down, a bit of a cast time and pack quite a punch in AoE damage.

Yes but it’s not perfect, content creators can’t talk negatively about the game according to the contract they sign to play it.
She will get a passive when the game is finished
They could at least affect the weather by giving a windy sky for her wind power. Dark clouds and thunder for lighting. Her basic attack is an unlimited electric charge but she will gain more damage and wide range for if she is outside of a building. Wind, turning herself into a tournado being immune to any damage and give allies movement speed boost. Same power as support and as a mage but still we can see her exactly as Storm.
Btw, just want to let this out…I hate the storm that we get rn cuz she is so boring. Her basic attack sucks. I can’t see her shooting her wind basic attack. They should change it to electric instead. Her lighing attack so slow that it can possibly miss. I don’t feel like she is a goddess at all…not even someone that has weather manipulation power. Her ult is so cummon. Why is she so boring?😢
She has 250 not 300 👍🏻
Balance change. You can see when I say 300, she has 300. It changed to 250 after.
