I’m so sorry for the loss of your horse. It’s well known that, no matter the size or type of animal they are very therapeutic. You have a lot of empathy for animals and Uppie is blessed to have you.
I think that's true. A grasshopper came inside last September and I caught it and fed it. When my cat passed in November I was very grateful for the company, of the tiny green grasshopper. Just knowing another living thing was there helped. Not this kind of connection though.

So many people dislike birds for the noises they make, but I love them as much as any other animal. It is humans whose souls have not developed to recognize another soul.
i am terrified of birds due to bad experiences with them as a child, however, i still find them absolutely incredible creatures. a few years ago, i had a wild goose become interested me at the park, and it hung out with me, cuddled in my lap, let me pet it and generally interact with it for 2 hours straight and now, im hooked. they still scare me, but i have a respect for them i never had before. this goose was so interested in me and gentle and cuddly. i honestly thought perhaps it was sick because it was such a rare experience, but i went back and saw a park employee doing the same with it. i guess it just likes people and since i was there very early in the AM, with few other people around, it felt safe to come hang out with me. i have pictures of it all because it was such a cool day!!

It's just that farm animals have been intentionally hidden away inside warehouses, so we can profit from their bodies. If given enough time to be around humans, animals seek out our love and companionship.
Yes! am at the point where I have seen the extreme happiness of trusting farm animals to have given up eating animals with eyes. I know this sounds overly dramatic, but it covers just about all animals on land and in the sea.
We raised them in back yard when kids were young. They are almost like dogs however have to hold them butt out. Not a house pet unless you use a diaper.
what a baby! while watching, i said to myself "these guys act just like my rats!" and then it cut to uppie with his head in her sleeve aha got my old lady with me there right now! ever since she was a tiny nugget i used to carry her in my pockets or generally my hoodie when i couldnt keep her still so whenever she sees an opening she schloops right into my sleeve and gets comfy
Uppie is so sweet and adorable .. Everyone I know of personally who raised a duck chick says the same thing, how very loving they are, and also how fiercely they will defend those they love, they truly have large souls, like so many of our animal friends 💞💞💞💞

So heartwarming to watch this video. It brings me back in time. In the year 1995 I found a duckling in an abandoned nest during a heavy thunderstorm at the moment that she was born. She lay there in her broken eggshell struggling against the cold rain.I couldn't see her suffer, I didn't want she would die from the cold. So - I picked her out the nest and took her with me. I gave her the necessary support, so she survived the ordeal. She became my best buddy and an amiable little critter, full of joy and naughtiness in the good sense! All the following years - every day without exception - we took care for her. Unfortunately she became ill. We did all we could to save her but her situation became hopeless. With much pain in our heart we had to put her down. She died in my arms on September 14, 2009 at 09:10 am local time. That day a part of me died too! She became fourteen years - three months and twenty days old. She was the best thing that's ever happened to me. She made my life worth living. Sleep soft Pipke! . i do TNR volunteering for the county i live in, and i want to open a rescue so bad. i have 3 of these cats because it was not safe to release them where we caught them. i socialized them and they are the 3 greatest living beings in my life.

So is RUclips creator Mr Alwyn Wils, his channel A Chick Called Albert he also saves, rehabilitates, hatches, birds, ducks, etc. He has 3 gorgeous squirrels. Saved a mini horse and so many more. It’s a beautiful place there. Cold but scenic.

My mother fed a group of ducks at a certain time of day (she lived on the water). If my mother was late giving them their snack, they would come to the glass patio doors and knock, quack and look for her then everyone would get excited and quack and dance around very happy to see her.
