Hi Traci, thank you for your videos. I was wondering if you use any ground on your oil paper before working on it.
I don't understand what these are. Can you please explain for people who are new? Or point me to a video that explains it? And we can not just buy single ones, we have to subscribe?
They are like a wax pigment that you can use similar to oil pastels. They create various colors in one bar. I also wish I could buy a single one as well to try.
Hi! #tracibautistaCOLOR Pigment Bars are handcrafted wax paints made from organic plant waxes and natural earth and organic pigments. Each bar features a blend of 2-5 colors, and some include shimmering micas and metallic flakes for added sparkle.
With a rich, creamy consistency and vibrant hues, these bars are ideal for various mixed media techniques. They can be used as a resist with watercolors, inks, and acrylics, as well as with oil paints and other wax mediums.
Similar to the consistency of oil pastels but oil-free, the pigment bars can be heated and painted like encaustic paint or used for wax monotype. They are also versatile enough to be used with brushes, stencils, and various texture tools.
