I’m exactly the person you describe in the beginning lol I’m still going to watch tho 🙌🏼
Appreciate you my guy 😂 Thanks for the support!
Great points and true 100%, man! 👌🏻
Thanks man! Glad you agree with me 👌🏼
My F87 M2c has the Gintani ch fix, custom downpipes, the AA Equal Length midpipe and a stage II tune. What a top performer!!!
That’s a great list of mods bro, I bet it’s an absolute blast to drive 🤘🏼
Your channel is the shit! I’ve learned so much about my M4 thanks brother
Great video and great knowledge! Do you happen to have a video on tires, for Daily, Tracking, and straightline and sizes!
This video is what I've been looking for all along
Glad it could help you out 🙌🏼
Very helpful video as always mate. I track my stock m4c and I push it pretty hard, do you reckon I should get crank hub upgraded? Thanks
I found your video helpful, even for my N55 M2, since most things are applicable except for the cooling (since N55's cooling isn't as good and will need to be upgraded for heavy track use) and crank hub portions (which luckily isn't as much as a concern for the N55).
I’m early, great video as always solid info 🔥
Appreciate it bro 🙌🏼
Good video man, I love the S55, but I also love the N55 in my M2!
Thanks man!! I love the OG M2 with the N55 in it. It’s a damn good car and you cant go wrong with either
Congrats on the 50K subscribers!
Thanks so much man!!
Bro! I’m going to streets of Willow on 2/6 first time tracking my M3 cant wait!
Let’s gooo!!! 🔥 You’re gona love it man, i’ll be at Big Willow this weekend
Makes me more confident slapping a stage 1 tune on my f82 now. Thank you
You bet man! Enjoy it
Same lmfaoo
A whole lot less nonsense to worry about than n54. Crank hub. Honestly not sure what to believe on that. So much hype on it. If I got a M4 I would probably do stage 1 and street use only. Great episode and you put out great content.
Really appreciate it man! Thanks for the support!
Very informative video, great job! Just passed 100k on my F82. Love this thing
Thank you very much! Damn that’s awesome, how has it held up with 100k miles?!
@@SimplyCarThings just a few pricey things went out like the valve cover and alternator, which was covered by my 3rd party warranty. Recently replaced an ignition coil and the coolant reserve tank.
Replaced my rear wheels bearings at 55k miles, took me forever to figure out where the swooshing noise was coming from, much better now, power delivery seems to be much smoother
Love your show is 🔥🔥🔥
thank you!
I went ahead and spent the extra money for the M2 CS. I was toldly sold on the M4 from your video. I decided that it might be a once in lifetime experience.
Congrats man, M2 CS is definitely the right choice if you can afford it! Epic car, enjoy it and drive it hard!
Completely agree👍 my car is getting the hub replaced next month by Coloradon5x
Nice!! That’s great to hear, you’ll be able to beat on the car without much worry soon
Simply Car Things yea I can’t wait to have that peace of mind!
I feel it man. I dont run mine at all I only take it out on the weekends and the crank hub still spun and I was forced to buy a new engine witch btw BMW wanted $35000.00 to do the job. I only had 36000 miles when it happened. I recommend everyone to look into the issue cause I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.
Did you tune the car?
And the fact that to do ,that job aint even simple
No. I didn't do anything to it, ots completely stock
I dont use my m4 that much cause I have 4 other daily cars and a work van. I never race it or rev the engine or anything like that. I take good care of it and sucks that BMW won't tell us about these issues and when stuff like this happens they act like they don't know what we are talking about. Even if they didn't send out a recall notice, they should have at least sent out warnings anyone would be super happy to pay $2000.00 over $35000.00 any day
@@twbigfoothd269 no its completely stock.
Great content 👍 what do you think about a carbon fiber driveshaft upgrade on the F8X?
Thank you! I'm pretty sure the M4's driveshaft is carbon fiber from factory already
🔥🔥
Two things I think you should’ve added are the cost of brake rotors / how there’s only one option, and also the cost of tires for daily use. But overall great video 👍
Those would be good points to mention, thank you for the feedback!
Facts those rotors are $1500 at the BMW dealership
I have a stock f15 35xi . No tunes . But would like to upgrade my charge pipes. Any recommendations?
I'm still a cruiser Ommar. Feel the power when I want to, but enjoy the experience. You know me Ommar. Got to have the hard top convertible, rock the sick aftermarket sick wheels, and some carbon fiber accents. Cali Baby, you know what it is 🤣😆💯✊
Hell yea man! Can’t blame you one bit there, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Keep on enjoying it 🤘🏼
@@SimplyCarThings Aaaah yeeezer😎🦾👊
Quick question what’s the best intakes to get for the S55?
I want a used M4. What year would be the best?
PAPA OMAR WITH THAT QUALITY DIC... I MEAN CONTENT
🥵🥵🥵
How often are you changing your oil and plugs? I’m going stage 1 this weekend and doing colder plugs and just changed my oil but want to prep for the next interval. Cars only driving April-Oct
Stage 1 is a tame tune… you don’t need to do anything extra with just stage 1
Any particular reason why you showed that particular diff bracket? I would add upgrading your dust boots with high temp ones. Stocks will disintegrate after a few track days.
I've heard good things from the KMP diff bracket, the Turner Motorsport one is also pretty good. I have a few friends that are running it on track and for the price its a great product
Thank you for this video
Congrats man, that sounds like a beautiful car!! Glad to hear she will be driven properly 🔥 For brake pads i’d recommend going with the PFC08
@@SimplyCarThings many guys have said that pad. But is it a good pad for the road. Does it sqeek alot? :/
What’s up boss. Spline lock by vtt v2 is good enough right ?
Yea bro, it should get the job done!
11:43 minute, is it 640M style 18 inch V-SPOKE wheels?
those are style 513m's
Early gang
🙏🏼
What replacement pads would you recommend for mostly street use?
The OEM brake pads would be good, Stoptech street pads also
what type of wheels was on your old M4 ?
M437
3K or 5K oil changes is way overkill unless you’re tracking A LOT
I’ve never been this early lol
Love to see it man! 🙏🏼
CRANK HUB
Are those new wheels are am i seeing things?
Yes, keepin it kind of lowkey for now tho 🤣
lol I think I know what they are but I won't say anything
Were you a firefighter at some point?
M4 vs M2C. M2C>M4 weight to power and fun factor.
p
No more slacking on videos lol
