Thanks for the presentation, I just got my 4452 singer yesterday. I believe with Almighty Allah and your illustrations, I won't have any problem with the machine. Thanks once again.
You explain things so simply. I have been sewing all my life and have learned so much from you. You explain the things others assume everyone already knows. It's those little things that I was never taught. You are amazing!
Thank you, after watching your tutorial I'm ready to get going again. I bought this machine 2 yrs ago and couldn't get a decent stitch which I now realise was user error. I'm looking forward to the weekend to get going again. Oh and I dropped two needles down the machine while changing a needle hence why I fired it up to the attic all this time. I'm pleased to say dropped needles are out and the machine is correctly treaded so here goes. 🤞🤞🤞
I'm so glad to see that you turned your machine on end, too. I had a Bernina and the Walking Foot was so easy to install! I had to find another screw driver, too! Thank you!
Thank you for explaining that. Just the blurry bits in the close-ups made it difficult to see sometimes, but your explanation and the demo were excellent!
OH. MY. GOD. Thank you so much for giving me the idea to turn the machine uo on its end. I've been struggling and cussing for over an hour now. Man - talk about your design flaws! How is a man with big hands supposed to get that screw in place?
Question... At what stitch length setting do the feed rates of the underside teeth match that of the walking foot teeth? My wife just bought me a new 44S the same day I found a thrift shop 4452 with a loaded box of accessories. Woohoo!
Hi, excellent videos I must say. I don't know a thing about sewing but I watched your other video, the full length of it like 44 minutes or so, it was very helpful. Quick question, how do I do a back stitch on this singer machine, is there a button or specific setting?
Oh, yes, there's a lever right on front that's labeled 'reverse'. You just hold it down, and it'll sew backwards. Thanks for watching! You really hung in there!
I have one more question 🙋🏻♀️ I removed my original extended attachment for sew little stuff and I lost it. Mines is 4411 the big extended from Amazon said is just for newest series 4411 from vietman😥
there wa a bundle with the walking foot- apparently I was not finding it when I looked here in the States, but the UK store had it bundled with a factory refurb unit kit. I've watched a few more your your videos (thanks for making them) and am considering the 4452 bundle, even though it does more than I need. Cheers@@momdoesstuff

Thanks for showing how the walking foot works. Hope to learn how to sew a quilt one day. Just a begginer and doing very begginer friendly projects 💖
You are so welcome! Just enjoy the sewing journey :) I have a video up on making a 'raggy' quilt that's very beginner friendly. Thanks for watching!
Omgoodness, thank you sooooo much for this video. I’m a total novice and had no clue how to do this. Bless you for sharing.

Oh yay! I’m so glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!💕
Thank you so much for your fantastic videos. Can I ask if you can sew zigzag stitch with the walking foot?
You know, I’ve never tried that! I’ll give it a look this weekend!
OH. MY. GOD. Thank you so much for giving me the idea to turn the machine uo on its end. I've been struggling and cussing for over an hour now. Man - talk about your design flaws! How is a man with big hands supposed to get that screw in place?

Same. You saved my sanity.
Thank you Mom , very helpful.

I had the same excitement. I didn't know it was in mine either!
Lol it was a nice surprise!

My wife just bought me a new 44S the same day I found a thrift shop 4452 with a loaded box of accessories. Woohoo!
The foot will adjust itself to whatever Length you set.
Thank you! This was so helpful!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!

@Mom Does Stuff I appreciate the quick response and help. Thank you, stay blessed and have a wonderful Sunday.
My hard lesson learned is you can’t do reverse to tack a seam. If you can please let me know!
Ive never had that much trouble getting it on.
I have one more question 🙋🏻♀️ I removed my original extended attachment for sew little stuff and I lost it. Mines is 4411 the big extended from Amazon said is just for newest series 4411 from vietman😥
I would try emailing Singer. They’re customer service is excellent.
Thank you so much!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
Nice explanation
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
Heads Up to those considering the Singer 4411. It appears that the 4411 no longer comes with the Even Feed / Walking Presser Foot
I’ll check again to be sure, but I think it’s the 4452 that has the walking foot 😕

A walking foot does not cost $100 to $150! Try $15 to $25. All kinds of them at eBay for that price.
I’ve been meaning to try one of those and see if it was comparable to the brand specific ones. Have you tried one? How did it work for you?
$25 on Amazon maybe years ago they were more expensive.
$50 at JoAnn's
hi, what model number singer come with the walking foot?
The 4452 is the one I have. It might come with other models as well.
Thanks
My 4452 didn’t come with a accessory walking foot😩
Oh noooo!😢Call customer service and I bet they’ll send you one!
Is this foot good for knits fabrics?
Oh, yes. It helps a lot when working with knits!
@@momdoesstuff thanks! 😍I bought this in Amazon can’t wait ♥️
@@momdoesstuff do you prefer knit foot or walking foot?
That foot is $25 now. I don't understand why all machines don't work this way.
It’s crazy!
4:23 "put this one own"?
The walking foot
Own = On; it's just the accent.
Good info, but blurry video
Sorry 😐It's hard to film and sew at the same time.
I tried my walking foot for the first time, then I broke two needles on it. The alignment is not right. 😢
Oh, nooo :( I'm so sorry!
To bad that nearly entire video is out of focus.........
Sorry. Did the best I could 🤷🏼♀️
All video no focus
Sorry :( I tried!
AT first I thought i needed my readers, come to find out , IT'S YOUR FOCUS (long view vs ???!!!!)😆🥸
Sorry 😥Hopefully Canon's new firmware update will solve these problems. It's hard to be a one person show 😂
