Hello. Great video, however, I can no longer see anything relating to work schedules in the side panel. All I can see is a drop down mentioning 4d tools, with seemingly no way to import anything. Also, whenever I try to import an XML or XER file, it comes up with an error box.

Can you please show off a completed 4D or 5D animation created via BlenderBIM? I'm excited about the chance to dethrone Synchro but I've never seen anything beyond proof of concept for BlenderBIM animations.

hopefully there are more coming but, in the meantime, would you advise on books or links to explore the subject in detail ? thanks

Hey @Stefano, I am not aware of any documentation regarding 4D or 5D unfortunately. I have come across some academic research through google, but nothing was satisfying really. Due to lack of consensus, I just think of 4D as whatever a Site Manager /Poject Planner may need, and 5D as what a Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager may need.
Luckily IFC describes many of these concepts. We've started compiling some sequencing concepts, although it's quite abstract and it is non-exhaustive wiki.osarch.org/index.php?title=IFC_-_Industry_Foundation_Classes/IFC_concepts/IFC_sequence_concepts

@@sigmadimensions I watched this video again, if you don't mind would you consider in your future videos a basic approach instead of opening a simple but advanced building?
If you check what IFCArchitect posted for instance, he uses an extremely simplified building and walks you through the various stages of the design, it's really easy to follow
thanks for the great job you are doing, truly appreciated

I went to use the new interface and it seems to me that 4D has changed a lot.
Will there be a review with the new interface?

There have been some improvements overall indeed, everything is now grouped under the tab named " Costing and Scheduling ". Things have been re-arranged and new features have been added.
I will be covering how to create 4d and 5d data afresh before 30/09/23!
