Thanks Paul, just before the end of the season the trout hold close to the islands and around rocky structure, they like to feed off the vegetation on them, and open water daphnia feeders. The depths isn’t so important, can find them anywhere in 1 meter up to 20 meters , close to the mouths of rivers, or around sandy bays. Every lake is different though, some places are empty, some are good, it changes throughout the season where they gather. 👍 some days they feed, other days you’d swear the lake was empty. 😄

Hi Denis, we used rapalas and a few other brands. No i use 12lb fleuro when I’m after trout as a leader.
