I went to a Karaoke bar with some Korean university students one time after an English camp. One of the guys picks Run to the Hills off the board, and in my head I'm thinking, "This is gonna be a trainwreck!" The kid crushed it...every fkin' note!! Ending and all!! I was flabbergasted! 🤘🤘
This lead singer is Michael Cuneo, he has great talent. He was in the original cast of the Jersey Boys, saw them here in Chicago approximately 10 years ago, he was gifted with great vocals, he’s amazing!
As soon as the vocals started I formed massive goosebumps and the hairs on my body stood at attention and stayed there for the entirety of the song! This cover ROCKS! 🤘
From Kashmir to Immigrant that Voice just gets better and better! Of course, the band is UNBELIEVABLE. From a a life life long head banger that says a lot! SUPERB JOB!
My jaw dropped when he hit that first note. WHERE DID YOU FIND HIM? PS: After listening to this a few times already, can I please ask for that Soundgarden cover now? I believe y'all have the perfect candidate for Jesus Christ Pose. Pretty please, good people.
@@briancrawford69 You misunderstood me to be a Cornell fan - RIP, but I was not a fan. I liked some of his first early years music - Birth Ritual being one of - but to say that Cornell was a freak of nature is one person's perception, another would be that most all the time he sang a song in a rambling shout, always yelling and screaming out a song at it's audience, almost in fog or lost. The most annoying elderly crying weling, whining, bowel movement of sounds coming out of his mouth. NO, not a fan at all. Heard one song, you heard them all. Extremely annoying to listem to, push stop and turn off, No
For some strange reason, I stumbled over this project only today - despite being a metal fan and music lunatic in general for 40+ years. Jaw-dropping, breath-taking, awe-inspiring. These are the words that come into my mind while watching and listening to your tracks. Your interpretation and performance is so intense and moving to me how I can't describe it. Thanks so much for all your efforts and incredible talent. Hats off from Vienna, Austria.
You know the Vocalist for this is amazing! But I also want to point out that the brass/wind instruments in this song is also amazing! I mean the control & breathing & embouchure is all exquisite! Well done Brass Against!
Best male vocal cover of Robert Plant I've ever heard; if this band goes to ground fleshing out the Zeppelin future that never was, he's going to be set for life. You have reproduced the massive echoing effects of the original! NOTE: you still have to pass the ' Four Sticks' test.
well, did the vocalist do that? to mee sounds like a ton of reverb/delay on the vocal track. Too much - the vocal's good enough, no need to add "FX talent". To me, the mixing is overdone :( but awesome job apart from that, obv!
Great job everyone! It's awesome each one of you guys look like you should be playing the instruments you all play! Including Cunio the unique clothing style and SERIOUS vocals
Precisely! everyone is talking about the singer (who is amazing for sure) but the trombone playing is really fantastic. really difficult to play that way!
This is Bad ass. The 2 greatest things in life ( Zeppelin and kick ass horn section ) together creating something new and exciting. The Mighty ZEPPELIN LIVES ON.
....we can't forget about that absolute jackhammer of a bari 🎷!!! Love how he always looks like he's just seconds away from pulling a Hendrix!! ! 🤣 ...smashing anything in sight and lighting it on fire! 🔥🎸🔥 Can we get Zeppelins "No Quarter"....Pretty please!!!!
Got their 4 original "symbols" tattooed down my forearm.... and was absolutely shook during the first 10secs!!! By far the best vocal cover of this I've heard!! Brass against is fantastic of course, and it's their own take. But the way his voice draws you in is absolutely reminiscent of early Plant!!
A story from someone who comes from the place where the people from the "land of ice & snow" came to conquer.... In the 1970's, it's little known fact, that the UK & Iceland actually went to war over cod fishing rights. To re-establish relations after, the UK sent *Zepp,* in their full pomp, on a cultural exchange of Iceland & we got some traditional Icelandic dancers in return! This song was written about Iceland & the Vikings that invaded the UK from there during that tour!
Oh man!! WHAT ?!?! YEAH BUDDY! Wow, i mean when i see a Brass Against in my feed, i usually try to get to it ASAP. However y'all had me pulling off the road to see what was going on here! Bravo love it! Cannot wait to slap it on my home stereo as loud as possible! 🔈🔉🔊 🎺📯🎷🎵🎤🎶
The only man I’ve ever heard who actually matches Plant
Dino Jelusick?
@@izzzy03 I was just about to say Dino, I would about as soon listen to Dino do it as to hear Plant do it.
my jaw hit the floor when the trombonist matched the aaahaaaaa aaaaahhhh, Mariel has some serious chops!
Me pasó lo mismo
This vocalist is insane. Guess it's time to do some Iron Maiden covers
🔥🎸🧟🎸🔥
He seems to have an armful of that energy that you study in Tai Chi.

yeah man...he fkn killed it..great work all around
excellent idea.
I was not expecting that voice to come out of that man, but MAN he nailed it!
Well, all the editing software nailed it for him.
Never judge a book. Nuff Said
This lead singer is Michael Cuneo, he has great talent.
He was in the original cast of the Jersey Boys, saw them here in Chicago approximately 10 years ago, he was gifted with great vocals, he’s amazing!
It's Michael Cunio, if anyone looks for him under the other spelling they will most likely end up reading about the author...
@@stratobungle does Cunio know linguistics?
Man, doing Robert Plant justice is no small feat. This dude is seriously impressive.
Thinking the same thing. I'm sure wherever he is, Robert himself is impressed.
intro blasts off and I'm "please be good please be good, please just don't suck dude", then he enters AAAaaaAAAaaa and I'm like, fuck yeah dude
My guy looks like the love child of Eddie Izzard and Anthony Smith (MMA fighter), while sounding like a chorus of raging sirens! Brilliant stuff!
The vocalist absolutely NAILED IT!
Bari sax guy out their bossing the whole track like always. What a monster
When my girl starts the trombone shrieking…sweet!
One of the best covers of any song I've ever heard!!! KUDOS!!!!
That is the most effortlessly intense vocals I've seen. Well done.
Pretty cool and new vibe on the cover. Well done.
As soon as the vocals started I formed massive goosebumps and the hairs on my body stood at attention and stayed there for the entirety of the song! This cover ROCKS! 🤘
As a musician I can say that this is one of the best and more creative cover versions of this song.👌
The instruments are always fantastic....but this cat's vocals...good lawd! Superb!
The vocalist NAILED it. The horns...as usual, were phenomenal.
Hey Cunio, Rod Lincoln here. That is AMAZING! (I had the pleasure of touring with Cunio for a while)
This is absolutely fantastic. Cunio is a superhuman. The band is topnotch. Best cover of this song that there will ever be.
Never heard this singer before. Wow what a beast!
I can't stop listening to this guy sing, because he is amazing !!!!
From Kashmir to Immigrant that Voice just gets better and better! Of course, the band is UNBELIEVABLE. From a a life life long head banger that says a lot! SUPERB JOB!
Long live the 70's!
Seriously that's the most feminine and masculine dude I've ever seen... such a bad ass vocalist and whole band. The intensity is quite impressive.
goals, honestly
I dunno, looks like he could eat my lunch.
@@Flumphinator That isn't really mutually exclusive to "most feminine and masculine."
He can definitely eat something of mine, anyway.
@@Flumphinator If your lunch is a dick.
Yeah, right? I thought the same thing, that's one strange vibe he's got going there. Great vocals, though!
OH GOD what is this performance, couldn't even blink. The vocals are out of this world
This dude almost sounds more like Robert Plant than Robert Plant does! Awesome cover, as usual.
He is the Über Plant.
the "spawn of Freddie Mercury & Janis Joplin"
OMG! Yes, so true! This guy is amazing! I can't believe I'm just finding him now. What a talented vocalist!
I was about to say the same thing. Holy Mothership of God
It’s the effects
Awsome !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am flashed!!! I hope the Led Zepplin Guys know it.
Another fantastic cover by the best artist who can sing like mr plant excellent
Perfect perfection!
Ooo, I'm getting the chills! I see Thor bringing the lightning to the hoards!
Very clean sound, perfect pitch and timing, what a good perform 👍
seen that live in Krakow yesterday. Man I knew this gig was gonna be good but it was way beyond any exceptations!! Absolutely amazing!!
What a Vocal !! - And everything else was perfect too...
My jaw dropped when he hit that first note. WHERE DID YOU FIND HIM?
PS: After listening to this a few times already, can I please ask for that Soundgarden cover now? I believe y'all have the perfect candidate for Jesus Christ Pose. Pretty please, good people.
He did at least one PMJ song with Scott too, as far as I am aware, and it is fantastic.
No dude, Birth Ritual.
Lol, awesome cover, awesome talent.
He doesn't have the rasp or bite that Cornell still had in his upper notes. Cornell was a freak of nature
