"This is your introduction to a video about me?" The video wasn't about you. Spooky Scary Sunday is about fans who send in horror videos to Cory. A fan sent in MeatCanyon's video of Nik, and Cory happened to watch it. Cory simply told Nik to take care of himself. After that he continued with his SSS not mentioning Nik again. Cory wouldn't even ever talk about Nik because he mainly focuses on gaming, skits, and reaction videos.

Cory literally said “I don’t know if this is your reason but if it is..” then he started giving him the constructive criticism.. Nick took out the part when Cory said “I don’t know if this is why you do this”
Been saying this for years, but its because Nick is actually pretty toxic cause he likes painting other people in a negative light. He intentionally took all the nice things Cory said in his video out (Besides the last part so he could make his funni statement) And painted it as an attack.
(Edit) I phrased my comment bad so just to clarify, I don't think Cory wanted views from Nick, he was reaching out to give him advice which I respect. But even in a scenario where Cory did want views, he gave good pointers to Nick, instead of trying to piggy back.

August, your overall view on how people behave on the internet is honestly, pretty spot on. I'm subscribed to quite a few of the people you've reacted to and agree 100% on the critiques you've given. But I don't know about this one. Was this even a video on Nick...or on Cory? Even though I'm one of Cory's subscribers, and I do think he needs to reel back on the commentating when it comes to people he doesn't know (to avoid moments like this), he really did nothing wrong. You took a cut up half-assed, blown out of proportion response video...to someone who wasn't trying to play therapist, but just throw some good vibes into the air...as fact. You need to watch the actual unedited clip from Cory's video that shows him reacting to MC's video. He is very aware of MC's satire comedy style and knows everything is exaggerated. He even apologized under the response video Nick made because he, like how you've stated for your comments about Cory's character, meant no hate towards Nick. It got deleted shortly after, not sure by who...but that should tell you something about Nick if he was the one to do it. You just agreed to every BS thing Nick said. Cory isn't known for lying to his audience. And it doesn't take a genius to type in Nick's name somewhere and see the problems he's gained over the years. Even YOU have addressed them. So why is Cory getting so much flack? You kinda do the same thing you are accusing Cory of. All those things you said about Nick in your other videos? Are you kidding me? And although there were those crazy fans under Nick's response video, they were drowned out by the amount of normal people and those who aren't even fans of Cory. All calling Nick out for what he said. If you do research on him...watch the video...and still feel the same way, than so be it. It’s your opinion. You should watch MC's reaction to Nick as well. One of many clips in his video. He had no idea about what the video was going to show until then. He isn't piggybacking off of anyone. However, he knows there's a chance Nick may see the video and wanted to just say some kind words BECAUSE...as a big content creator, he knows what this life can do to you. Honestly, your channel is basically piggybacking. From Dhar Mann, to That Vegan Teacher, Nick! Again...was this a way to unleash your biased comments about Cory into the world...or was this about Nick!?! Cause honestly, this is so bizarre.
You have to do your research before making judgments. Cory is not piggybacking off of this guy. He was actually trying to give the guy some much needed advice. The video you guys are talking about is called Spooky Scary Sunday which is a series in which Cory’s fans sends him spooky videos to react to. The part of the video that is getting so much unnecessary attention is only a few minutes of the entire video. And in fact it isn’t even the most entertaining or the highlight of the full video.

This was incredibly distasteful. If you watched Cory’s full video then you could have had a lot more context. Cory is the realist and most caring RUclipsr I’ve ever seen. All he had was good intentions.

Nik cut out a lot of the parts where Cory explains that he doesn't know him or watch his content, but Cory still tried to give some genuine advice based on what he gleaned from MeatCanyon's animation. Go to his channel and look at the view counts of his videos: he regularly pulls anywhere from 1-10 million views and that Spooky Scary Sunday video (again, of which this discussion about the animation takes maybe 1/6ths of the entire length) only falls about in the middle of that at 5.8M right now. He *does not need* Nik to get attention nor to make money, and you're just as uneducated about it as August is if you think that's the case.

Not a Cory fan but I actually looked at the original video and I've really loved your videos but I Respectfully disagree with this one. Solely based on the fact that Nick got approximately 6 mins from a half an hour video and it wasn't disrespectful.He was just reacting to a video sent by one of his fans and honestly out of all the RUclips videos I've seen about nick,Cory's own was the most respectful.He was just making comments based on the animation presented Infront of him which he later states that he doesn't know if it's factual.Just my opinion btw

Cory is literally one of the most popping youtubers to have ever graced the platform who simultaneously is able to target teens without using clickbait, buzzwords, and other horrifying shit kids channels do, and does it all without being a content farm. I don't like his content personally, but he's a rare breed of youtuber who can make videos that aren't garbage and be successful at the same time. The only other one I can think of is Brandon Farris.

You have to admit, Cory would be helping Nikocado more than the other way around. He has over 11 million, soon 12 mill subscribers. Also Cory chose the video since it was Meat Canyon not Nikocado. A lot of people don't even know who he is. Heck I didn't until I started watching this channel awhile ago. Cory also has a different audience than Nikocado.
I've literally never seen or heard anything about nikocado in all the years I've been watching RUclips. 😐 And honestly August, I'm happy this was my first video of you, because it has shown me a lot about you and your content. It's honestly mind boggling that these cory child stans' main logic is to have research. Don't get me wrong, researching is good when you want to make a serious video, but this is quite literally the opposite. It's nikocado reacting to videos that are related to him, he does this all the time. I don't think you understood the entire video. August was siding with some of niko's statement because he had some valid statements or facts when he ranted cory. The whole vid was just nikocado ranting about cory's reaction on an animation, niko is a well known guy to react to literally anything that's related to him. But it didn't matter whether or not cory was reacting to nikocado, because the entire point of the video is that nikocado reacted to one of cory's videos that had him in a thumbnail then reacted to it even though the video was not fully about him and made some of statements were absurdly useless, but he still made some valid points. The lack of understanding of cory's stans amazes me. Even august despises nikocado yet he still agrees on his rant statements about cory, and that says something. I am going to cry myself to sleep knowing there's a far childish and toxic fandom than jake paul's, quite a rare moment.

So as a CoryxKenshin fan, I have to clarify that the video isn't all about Nick, it's like a series of weird or "scary" videos and this just so happened to be the first one he reacts to. Another thing is he's more of a gaming RUclipsr, kind of like your other channel, and he's actually pretty funny. But I do agree with you on the points that RUclipsrs making videos about Nick isn't motivated by genuine care for his well being, but what can you do?🤷♂️ Keep up the good work, I really like your videos, they're pretty funny.
Their channels are also entirely different so that is probably why Cory doesn't know much about Nicokado Avocado. Also you probably don't know him because he is a gaming RUclipsr and you can't really get any content from talking about gaming videos. He in the same regards doesn't know Nicokado Avocado because he is primarily a gaming chanel and can't really get any gaming content from other types of RUclipsrs like muck bang in this instance.

I'm one of Coryxkenshin's fans, I do think he expresses himself a lot in his intro's, but Nicokado has absolutely no right to make a statement on it when it took him nearly half an hour to get ready to start the video. And so what if he expresses himself, it's his own god damn RUclips channel.

okay for someone who's been watching cory for atleast a few years i can definetly say that cory was being honest. He likes to joke alot in his videos mostly for the heck of it. But in all seriousnes he's a very nice person. I appreciate you taking this with a grain of salt tho. What I got from what coryxkenshin was saying was that pretty much as a fellow RUclipsr, he realizes its easy to get caught up on money generated by people that watch unhealthy content of yours, and that money would result in you wanting to make more unhealthy content so at the end of the day, you need to take care of yourself and prioritize your health over money. He also didn’t seek out his video at all, it was sent to him because he has a reaction series and he wouldn’t know how to pronounce his name because Meatcanyon doesn’t put the name of the person he’s making the video of in the title. And Cory averages millions of views on every single video, he most definitely doesn’t need to use Nicoavocados name for views.
I won't lie I understand the fundamental concept of the video, but when Cory said the "the video presented your motivation for doing this" he meant it within the literal sense of Nick literally doing what he does because that is indeed what the video represents. I love Cory but I can comprehend your criticism. But make it a fair equation. Pretty sure Cory meant no harm by what he said and was just trying to help.

I like how August called us lost causes. When all we did was defend our shogun. Cory is one of the most honest people in the world and plus this isn't the only meatcanyon video Cory has reacted to so I don't see why August and nickocado are being like this. What happens if Cory reacts to another animation of another RUclipsr made by meat canyon and gives gives his own opinion will it be considered critiquing them? All Cory said was to take care of yourself and he also told us to stop and be positive so many times. Is that not being honest? Nickocado just needs to understand what he is doing to himself and so many people have told him to stop and he said that he has seen those comments. This entire video is the biggest stretch I've ever seen. Y'all took a small piece of a video and tried to make it look like a full-on attack on Nikocado. Cory obviously knew the video wasn't made by Nikocado, he CLEARLY stated that he doesn't know what Nik's actual motivations and intentions are. If you ACTUALLY watched the video and listened to what he was saying, you'll realize he was simply saying he hopes you're taking care of yourself. I don't know why that turned into all this. If anything Nik is riding Cory's fame. The video wasn't even about Nik. The only reason Cory even mentioned Nik was because the first video seemed to be inspired by him. You called his entire fanbase losers and stupid then when they return the favor you call that fanbase cringy. I have no sympathy for this man. He literally eats extremely unhealthy food on RUclips but gets mad when someone comments on the possible health effects of that. I think you're being a little too critical here. To start off, Cory wasn't making the video ON nikocado, it was a Spooky Scary Sunday vid (vid where the fans pick out and send him scary videos to watch), and the nikocado video happened to be one of them. Cory takes in the message that the video is trying to deliver regarding nikocados unhealthy lifestyle which he's engaging in just to become wealthy, and gives some genuine advice and voices his thoughts, thats all. First off, Cory never once “attacked” nikacado on his video. He gave him some very good advice out of concern for what he watched in the video that was sent to him. I agree completely, It also calls into question the credibility of all of his videos. He clearly barely researched anything about this situation. If he did it'd be plainly obvious that Cory did nothing wrong. The snide comments about content are also quite hypocritical as you said.
What's funny is that he piggybacks off of Nikocado Avocado's antics all the time. As somebody else said, an 11 million subscriber RUclipsr isn't going to profit that much off of somebody like Nik, who has only 9K or 1 Million. It's more the other way around, and in August's case as a RUclipsr at 5K as we're talking, it's definitely him feeding off of RUclipsrs who have way more numbers, not just the two in his video. August is the one who makes videos about stuff such as Dhar Mann's content to rake in the views, and the logic in this video is no exception to the evidence we have to this. To me, it just feels like an excuse for August to get on somebody else for jumping on his bandwagon, when it never was the case for Cory. It's not that I hate August, but it's sad to make these claims himself when we all know it's hypocritical when coming from him.

I'm late, so I don't know when you'd see this or if you'd see this. But I want to add that this whole video is just August piggybacking off the situation that was between Cory and Nik. And really, like every one of his videos is him piggybacking off of other people for views. So it's quite hypocritical for him to say that. He also really missed Cory's point, as you basically stated. People actually do want to help Nik. And you're right it is disgusting that he'd say we're naive for thinking people actually want to help Nik. Cory gets millions of views on all of his vids. So he likely isn't trying to profit off Nik. If that video didn't have that title or that thumbnail or that part of the video, it still would've gotten a lot of attention.

I feel like this video was more of a bomb shell on Cory than Nick. I honestly enjoy your content but this one was a little hypocritical considering that you make videos about Nik as well knowing that he's a big RUclipsr in the YT community. Cory genuinely was not aware because if you payed attention, SSS is a thing where his fans send in submissions to him to react to, he wasn't "piggy backing" on anyone unlike you, reacting to his videos and giving the attention you know Nick craves. That portion wasn't even the actual highlight of the whole entire video. Cory was genuinely trying to throw out good vibes when he reacted to the video and he's always honest to his audience and you would know that if you dug deeper. I’m gonna be honest here, I’ve been a big fan of August for quite a few months now, but this one just doesn’t sit right with me. It feels as if next to no research was done for this video and it felt fairly biased in Nikocado’s side even though Nik was very disrespectful to Cory and his fanbase, not to mention a level of hypocrisy in the whole “Cory’s piggybacking” statement when the MeatCanyon video was one out of six or seven videos Cory had looked at? I’m in no way angry, I’m just explaining why I think this video wasn’t exactly one of August’s best and I hope he learns from all the commenters’ gripes when it comes to future videos about both researching more and looking at both sides with as little bias as he can. A slight edit here, another thing that bothered me was the condemning of Cory’s fanbase when you only showed two comments? Every group has their less-than-ideal members, but they in no way reflect the whole. Not even just RUclipsrs, sports and hobbies and everything else have die hard fans as well but they are almost never considered to be representative of the group, so why make an exception of that fact for Cory’s fanbase? Again, not angry, just another thought I had while I edited this up a bit that shows another thing I really disagree about this video as a whole as well as August’s execution with it.

Yes it’s true, when RUclipsrs say “I hope you get better” it’s not actually going to help and they know it, but you know what? When saying that, Cory didn’t fatshame him, didn’t discriminate him, he just advised him to take his health more seriously. Something that people nowadays don’t do much. On the other hand, Nick called Cory a bunch of names. There were even some fans of Nick calling Cory the n word (I’m not sure, but I heard about it, but Nick’s fan were definitely berating Cory). All in all, instead of at least being grateful that someone hoped he got better, he insulted that person with the “you think you did something” vibe. Nick was extremely disrespectful to a lot of people, other than Cory. Nick was being a hypocrite, saying “oh you slow people just watch him play games, instead of contributing to society” while he knows damn well that all he does all day, is just eat, argue with his husband, break up with him, then magically get back together and have “mental breakdowns” when he’s just crying for the stupidest smallest stuff. He doesn’t even exercise, spend his money on actual useful things, or actually even take a moment to care about his health. And he knows that everyday, millions of people watch him do all of these things, that’s how he gets his money. The “at least I express my emotions” is not a good argument. Yes, a lot of men don’t cry nowadays because society belittles them with the “men shouldn’t cry” and labels them as “soft” whenever they cry for actual good reasons. But acting like a total cry baby over the smallest stuff for attention is not “expressing your emotions” and is nowhere near what those men are experiencing. Those men actually have problems, and can’t show any emotions because society will belittle them when they do so, while he doesn’t have any problems, doesn’t care and ignores them when he does, and starts having a whole breakdown over small things like dropping his fries.
Try seeing the difference between wanting to reach out and wanting to spread awareness. Cory said "Human to Human", he said "as another guy on the internet". He said it himself that he didn't know Nick so he doesn't really have the right to scold Nick and tell him to change himself. He didn't offered personal help. He gave a reminder, a simple support just to nudge him to the right path. Heck Cory didn't even respond to the video with a video, but rather just commented and stopped his community from hating on him, said that that's his life, his choice and even apologized for not knowing Nick's name.

SPOOKY SCARY SUNDAY is a segment of Corey’s channel that allows him to interact directly with his fan base, by having them send in content geared towards the theme of his SSS, and he normally gives the sender a shoutout. What Corey said about Nick is ABSOLUTELY true and he DOES need to take care of himself. He used to be vegan, for crying out loud. He rejected his belief of not eating animals and dove stomach first into destroying his health, his relationships, and literally everything that he touches. All Corey said was that he hopes that nick takes care of himself, never once bashing him or saying anything rude or negative. I’ve never heard of your channel, duck dude, but you clearly are biased in this video.

Honestly August, This is the saddest video that I have watched. It's taken totally out of context and even though I don't watch Coryxkenshin this is wrong. I watched the video and Nick's response was taken out of context. Had you watched the original video, you'd see that the whole thing isn't even about Nick. It was only for a short segment about him. Not even a full five or ten minutes. It was just Cory saying "Hey, I understand the grind." The only things that are about Nick's is the thumbnail,title and short submission from a fan that was for a segment about scary videos on RUclips. My suggestion is to take this down and research again. Looking at Nick's video, those comments you pulled are few of many that are actually from decent people. Please August try it again because this just ain't it man..

Yea, this one rubbed me the wrong way because he should've watched MeatCanyon's original vid, Cory's short reaction to MeatCanyon's vid, and THEN Nick's response. On top of that, from what I know, Cory grows- at the very LEAST- 1 mil a year, so he gets new viewers every single video he uploads. It's just pretty stupid to see a RUclipsr with 11 mill subscriptions (at that point in time) and over 1 mill views every video and go, "this guy is doing this to ride off the fame of Nikacado." He must not know or understand MeatCanyon either because Meat mainly does scary animations based off of either pop culture and internet culture events and people or TV shows and movies, so he IS commenting on how destructive Nikacado is being to himself and others. That's why he made the vid in his own style. That was very CLEAR. August must've been more focused on Cory's reaction than the MeatCanyon video, but it's clear that there was a lack of actual research here. Nikacado was rubbed the wrong way because someone who doesn't make content to ride off of him actually had something genuine to say that wasn't just someone critiquing and making fun of him. It's sad because he's comfortable with these "critique" and commentary youtubers letting him get by with what he's doing by blowing it off ("he can do what he wants, get healthy or not, I don't care") and making fun of him because that's the attention that validates him as he knows they're doing this for views just like himself. The few people who don't know the most about Nick who genuinely have concerning thoughts are ALWAYS the ones that Nick can't be all charismatic and in lala land while making his vids because their concern invalidate his actions, and they remind him of the sad reality that he has brought on himself. August, your overall view on how people behave on the internet is honestly, pretty spot on. I'm subscribed to quite a few of the people you've reacted to and agree 100% on the critiques you've given. But I don't know about this one. Was this even a video on Nick...or on Cory?
Even though I'm one of Cory's subscribers, and I do think he needs to reel back on the commentating when it comes to people he doesn't know (to avoid moments like this), he really did nothing wrong. You took a cut up half-assed, blown out of proportion response video...to someone who wasn't trying to play therapist, but just throw some good vibes into the air...as fact. You need to watch the actual unedited clip from Cory's video that shows him reacting to MC's video. He is very aware of MC's satire comedy style and knows everything is exaggerated. He even apologized under the response video Nick made because he, like how you've stated for your comments about Cory's character, meant no hate towards Nick. It got deleted shortly after, not sure by who...but that should tell you something about Nick if he was the one to do it. You just agreed to every BS thing Nick said. Cory isn't known for lying to his audience. And it doesn't take a genius to type in Nick's name somewhere and see the problems he's gained over the years. Even YOU have addressed them. You have to do your research before making judgments. Cory is not piggybacking off of this guy. He was actually trying to give the guy some much needed advice. The video you guys are talking about is called Spooky Scary Sunday which is a series in which Cory’s fans sends him spooky videos to react to. The part of the video that is getting so much unnecessary attention is only a few minutes of the entire video. And in fact it isn’t even the most entertaining or the highlight of the full video.

Nik cut out a lot of the parts where Cory explains that he doesn't know him or watch his content, but Cory still tried to give some genuine advice based on what he gleaned from MeatCanyon's animation.
Go to his channel and look at the view counts of his videos: he regularly pulls anywhere from 1-10 million views and that Spooky Scary Sunday video (again, of which this discussion about the animation takes maybe 1/6ths of the entire length) only falls about in the middle of that at 5.8M right now. He *does not need* Nik to get attention nor to make money, and you're just as uneducated about it as August is if you think that's the case.

You have to admit, Cory would be helping Nikocado more than the other way around. He has over 11 million, soon 12 mill subscribers. Also Cory chose the video since it was Meat Canyon not Nikocado. What I got from what coryxkenshin was saying was that pretty much as a fellow RUclipsr, he realizes its easy to get caught up on money generated by people that watch unhealthy content of yours, and that money would result in you wanting to make more unhealthy content so at the end of the day, you need to take care of yourself and prioritize your health over money. He also didn’t seek out his video at all, it was sent to him because he has a reaction series and he wouldn’t know how to pronounce his name because Meatcanyon doesn’t put the name of the person he’s making the video of in the title. I like how August called us lost causes. When all we did was defend our shogun. Cory is one of the most honest people in the world and plus this isn't the only meatcanyon video Cory has reacted to so I don't see why August and nickocado are being like this. What happens if Cory reacts to another animation of another RUclipsr made by meat canyon and gives gives his own opinion will it be considered critiquing them? All Cory said was to take care of yourself and he also told us to stop and be positive so many times. Is that not being honest? Nickocado just needs to understand what he is doing to himself and so many people have told him to stop and he said that he has seen those comments. Changing his content right now would be best if he doesn't want an early grave. And at least Cory is funny without throwing a temper tantrum yelling like a kid.

This entire video is the biggest stretch I've ever seen. Y'all took a small piece of a video and tried to make it look like a full-on attack on Nikocado. Cory obviously knew the video wasn't made by Nikocado, he CLEARLY stated that he doesn't know what Nik's actual motivations and intentions are. If you ACTUALLY watched the video and listened to what he was saying, you'll realize he was simply saying he hopes you're taking care of yourself. I don't know why that turned into all this. If anything Nik is riding Cory's fame. The video wasn't even about Nik. The only reason Cory even mentioned Nik was because the first video seemed to be inspired by him. I think you're being a little too critical here. To start off, Cory wasn't making the video ON nikocado, it was a Spooky Scary Sunday vid (vid where the fans pick out and send him scary videos to watch), and the nikocado video happened to be one of them. Cory takes in the message that the video is trying to deliver regarding nikocados unhealthy lifestyle which he's engaging in just to become wealthy, and gives some genuine advice and voices his thoughts, thats all. First off, Cory never once “attacked” nikacado on his video. He gave him some very good advice out of concern for what he watched in the video that was sent to him. Nikacado is just feeling some type of way about it. Which is understandable but Cory isn't the type to down other RUclipsrs. I just think this is blown way out of proportion and videos like this doesn’t make it better. It just eggs it on.

What's funny is that he piggybacks off of Nikocado Avocado's antics all the time. As somebody else said, an 11 million subscriber RUclipsr isn't going to profit that much off of somebody like Nik, who has only 9K or 1 Million. It's more the other way around, and in August's case as a RUclipsr at 5K as we're talking, it's definitely him feeding off of RUclipsrs who have way more numbers, not just the two in his video. August is the one who makes videos about stuff such as Dhar Mann's content to rake in the views, and the logic in this video is no exception to the evidence we have to this.
To me, it just feels like an excuse for August to get on somebody else for jumping on his bandwagon, when it never was the case for Cory. It's not that I hate August, but it's sad to make these claims himself when we all know it's hypocritical when coming from him.

I'm late, so I don't know when you'd see this or if you'd see this. But I want to add that this whole video is just August piggybacking off the situation that was between Cory and Nik. And really, like every one of his videos is him piggybacking off of other people for views. So it's quite hypocritical for him to say that. He also really missed Cory's point, as you basically stated. People actually do want to help Nik. And you're right it is disgusting that he'd say we're naive for thinking people actually want to help Nik. Cory gets millions of views on all of his vids. So he likely isn't trying to profit off Nik. If that video didn't have that title or that thumbnail or that part of the video, it still would've gotten a lot of attention.

I feel like this video was more of a bomb shell on Cory than Nick. I honestly enjoy your content but this one was a little hypocritical considering that you make videos about Nik as well knowing that he's a big RUclipsr in the YT community. Cory genuinely was not aware because if you payed attention, SSS is a thing where his fans send in submissions to him to react to, he wasn't "piggy backing" on anyone unlike you, reacting to his videos and giving the attention you know Nick craves. That portion wasn't even the actual highlight of the whole entire video. Cory was genuinely trying to throw out good vibes when he reacted to the video and he's always honest to his audience and you would know that if you dug deeper. I’m gonna be honest here, I’ve been a big fan of August for quite a few months now, but this one just doesn’t sit right with me. It feels as if next to no research was done for this video and it felt fairly biased in Nikocado’s side even though Nik was very disrespectful to Cory and his fanbase, not to mention a level of hypocrisy in the whole “Cory’s piggybacking” statement when the MeatCanyon video was one out of six or seven videos Cory had looked at? I’m in no way angry, I’m just explaining why I think this video wasn’t exactly one of August’s best and I hope he learns from all the commenters’ gripes when it comes to future videos about both researching more and looking at both sides with as little bias as he can.
A slight edit here, another thing that bothered me was the condemning of Cory’s fanbase when you only showed two comments? Every group has their less-than-ideal members, but they in no way reflect the whole. Not even just RUclipsrs, sports and hobbies and everything else have die hard fans as well but they are almost never considered to be representative of the group, so why make an exception of that fact for Cory’s fanbase? Again, not angry, just another thought I had while I edited this up a bit that shows another thing I really disagree about this video as a whole as well as August’s execution with it.

Yes it’s true, when RUclipsrs say “I hope you get better” it’s not actually going to help and they know it, but you know what? When saying that, Cory didn’t fatshame him, didn’t discriminate him, he just advised him to take his health more seriously. Something that people nowadays don’t do much. On the other hand, Nick called Cory a bunch of names. There were even some fans of Nick calling Cory the n word (I’m not sure, but I heard about it, but Nick’s fan were definitely berating Cory). All in all, instead of at least being grateful that someone hoped he got better, he insulted that person with the “you think you did something” vibe. Nick was extremely disrespectful to a lot of people, other than Cory. Nick was being a hypocrite, saying “oh you slow people just watch him play games, instead of contributing to society” while he knows damn well that all he does all day, is just eat, argue with his husband, break up with him, then magically get back together and have “mental breakdowns” when he’s just crying for the stupidest smallest stuff. He doesn’t even exercise, spend his money on actual useful things, or actually even take a moment to care about his health. And he knows that everyday, millions of people watch him do all of these things, that’s how he gets his money. The “at least I express my emotions” is not a good argument. Yes, a lot of men don’t cry nowadays because society belittles them with the “men shouldn’t cry” and labels them as “soft” whenever they cry for actual good reasons. But acting like a total cry baby over the smallest stuff for attention is not “expressing your emotions” and is nowhere near what those men are experiencing. Those men actually have problems, and can’t show any emotions because society will belittle them when they do so, while he doesn’t have any problems, doesn’t care and ignores them when he does, and starts having a whole breakdown over small things like dropping his fries.

I'm sorry to say this, but you are very wrong about Cory. You should have done your research. He wasn't judging Nick from the animation. He literally said that he doesn't know if what was depicted in the video is what really motivates Nick to do these videos or not. If you'd watched Cory's original video you would have noticed that Nick skipped that part.

It hurts me to see people attacking eachother this is just what Cory does and I'm glad he hasn't changed. I'm a fan of August so I'm not trying to attack him. I'm also a fan of Cory and I do agree that some of the fans are cringey but not all. He wasn't really piggybacking off of Nickacado because sss is where fans send videos of which they want him to react to, which so happens that Cory reacted to Nick. It's only one part of the video, also once again I'm not attacking August I love him too but I just wanted to clear things up.

Sorry Duck, I have to disagree with you I have watched Cory for years he has been on RUclips longer than Nick and Cory said in his video he doesn't know Nick. August with all due respect, please do your research before deciding to record stuff like this. This video was extremely frustrating to watch because it’s clear you didn’t bother to do any research and you were trying to paint Cory out to be the bad guy when all he was doing was giving advice. If you did your research, you would know that Cory does SSS (Spooky Scary Sunday), where his fans send his scary shorts on Twitter for him to react to. That meat canyon video was sent by one of his fans for him to react to. The video was never targeted towards Nick at all. Nick was barely even talked about in that video. For you to say Cory was attacking him while you’ve made multiple videos talking about Nick is very hypocritical and out of place to me. I love your content but don’t make videos like this if you don’t have the full context. I’ve been watching Cory for years and i can guarantee his intentions are pure. I can agree that most of his fan base goes a little overboard though.

True, I love August's content but as a Cory fan most of the stuff August said isn't true and wasn't Cory's intention. It kind of disappoints me that he didn't do his own research on Cory and instead seemed to just take Nick's word for it. SPOOKY SCARY SUNDAY is a segment of Corey’s channel that allows him to interact directly with his fan base, by having them send in content geared towards the theme of his SSS, and he normally gives the sender a shoutout. What Corey said about Nick is ABSOLUTELY true and he DOES need to take care of himself. He used to be vegan, for crying out loud. He rejected his belief of not eating animals and dove stomach first into destroying his health, his relationships, and literally everything that he touches. All Corey said was that he hopes that nick takes care of himself, never once bashing him or saying anything rude or negative. I’ve never heard of your channel, duck dude, but you clearly are biased in this video.

why would you say he attacked Nikocado? He didn't attack him, his video popped up in one of his suggestions for his video series where he watches scary videos, and he gave genuine advice to the dude. Yes, his videos are mostly targeted towards people under 18 and the intro was mostly filled with inside jokes you wouldn't get unless you were a regular viewer. Cory really wouldn't want or need to piggyback off of the dude his video literally just popped up in the series. I don't like all the accusations made in this video and it seems like you did barely any research and just rushed the video out to milk more Nikocado Avocado videos, like you have been for a while. Cory did not make a video specifically on Nikocado it was a small segment of the video and also what do you think Nikocado does all this for? Obviously money and clout, like Cory said. Cory isn't super active on other social media so honestly I wouldn't doubt it if he doesn't know much about Nikocado. While yes I enjoy Cory, I also enjoy your videos but this was just blatantly false.

Honestly August, This is the saddest video that I have watched. It's taken totally out of context and even though I don't watch Coryxkenshin this is wrong. I watched the video and Nick's response was taken out of context. Had you watched the original video, you'd see that the whole thing isn't even about Nick. It was only for a short segment about him. Not even a full five or ten minutes. It was just Cory saying "Hey, I understand the grind." The only things that are about Nick's is the thumbnail,title and short submission from a fan that was for a segment about scary videos on RUclips. My suggestion is to take this down and research again. Looking at Nick's video, those comments you pulled are few of many that are actually from decent people. Please August try it again because this just ain't it man..

Yea, this one rubbed me the wrong way because he should've watched MeatCanyon's original vid, Cory's short reaction to MeatCanyon's vid, and THEN Nick's response.
On top of that, from what I know, Cory grows- at the very LEAST- 1 mil a year, so he gets new viewers every single video he uploads. It's just pretty stupid to see a RUclipsr with 11 mill subscriptions (at that point in time) and over 1 mill views every video and go, "this guy is doing this to ride off the fame of Nikacado."
He must not know or understand MeatCanyon either because Meat mainly does scary animations based off of either pop culture and internet culture events and people or TV shows and movies, so he IS commenting on how destructive Nikacado is being to himself and others. That's why he made the vid in his own style. That was very CLEAR.
August must've been more focused on Cory's reaction than the MeatCanyon video, but it's clear that there was a lack of actual research here. Nikacado was rubbed the wrong way because someone who doesn't make content to ride off of him actually had something genuine to say that wasn't just someone critiquing and making fun of him.
It's sad because he's comfortable with these "critique" and commentary youtubers letting him get by with what he's doing by blowing it off ("he can do what he wants, get healthy or not, I don't care") and making fun of him because that's the attention that validates him as he knows they're doing this for views just like himself.
The few people who don't know the most about Nick who genuinely have concerning thoughts are ALWAYS the ones that Nick can't be all charismatic and in lala land while making his vids because their concern invalidate his actions, and they remind him of the sad reality that he has brought on himself.
This was just not a good vid from August this time.

As big of a fan as I am of your channel & I gotta say you are one of the best commentary channels out there, but this one though this video really shows that you don't do much research about the people you're talking about at all, so I do hope in the future you'll improve on this part because research plays a huge role in making a commentary video because sometimes when you seem like you don't know what you're talking about people who comes across a video like this one they just won't be interested in your content whatsoever seeing as you don't know what you're talking about, it just makes good content creator like seem hypocritical & that's just a really bad reputation other than that overall you're a very enjoyable youtuber to watch.

Avocado is just being a bit to rude with this guy. Cory is super nice and really respectful to his fans and he thanks us many times in many of his videos and what not.
