I AM OFFICIALLY A HOMEOWNER & you are now viewing my unfurnished house tour, literally right after my closing! I'm super excited about the opportunity to accomplish this, as its been a goal of mine for so long! I said I'd be a home owner by 27, and with the grace of God, support of family and friends, and you all inspiring me to be better everyday--I bought my home at 26!

All the hate in the comments! We gotta do better folks. She has worked in the military and has built her own business using RUclips as her platform. If we all have the same goal, we can all accomplish it if we choose to put our energy and focus towards doing so! I just hit 10k subscribers on my channel and I'm super shocked. Just a year ago I had 1k. I'm gonna keep following my dream of RUclips and one day my husband will be able to quit his Job and start his own business himself! It's possible ppl. she was(is) in the military, plus she started makeup on her youtube channel and established herself as a mua, which then brought other major companies her way to sponsor her for events/videos etc. so all in all she gets paid for all that! Which is exactly the same path im on lol

we do know that she didnt pay straight out for the house right?!! so im sure she had jobs and as she stated she has been saving for a long time to pay that down payment and all the necessary fees. And if she got a VA loan the down payment was 0!!! It is not that far out of reach if one is focused! And of course you dont have to own a 200k house, depending on where u live a house for 80k maybe all u need!!

OurLife Yesterday ohh noo , prices for everything are up the roof here. They are way above the the yearly income of most residents. Bills and wages don't match even for middle class. All the upper class folks are good though . :)

Please make a financial video about how you were able to buy a home. And some tips
She has one on her vlog channel from last year on how she saves. It's all about saving and having good credit to be honest.
I think she did say she were going to do an in depth video on talking about the home buying process with tips & different websites etc.
By grinding hard every day and making money. Most ppl won't go that great in detail on how they were able to afford something cause they don't want ppl counting their money or knowing how much they got. But, consider the fact that She had her day job working in the military, plus I know RUclips has also created a lot of money making oppurtunities for her as well. Video ad revenue, brand spokemans' deals, etc., plus she has her own make up line. That's a lot of streams of income lol. Like she said, she lived within her means , didn't put herself in debt, and saved a good portion of her income to go toward her dream house.
All you have to do to get a home is put 20% down... Some people put less than that and have to get an extra insurance... But I wouldn't advise that... In Missy's case the military has something where people can buy homes without really any money down I believe... Not exactly sure how that works but you can look it up... And I know she mentioned she was gonna use that... Set a goal... Save every month... Use your credit cards like a debit card... I've never paid one cent of interest on my credit cards... I only have them because I need to have them for credit purposes... It's really all about saving and having good credit.
+nunya biznes yup! A lot of people on RUclips are in her position, but then they only buy bags and shoes and clothes... You gotta give her props for having goals outside of those. Lol. She had the va loan thing to hell because she's a veteran, but still! She's definitely smart to buy a home.

I usually don't comment on RUclips, but I had asked the same exact question you did about how much she paid for her home because I was reading different comments about what this type of house would be worth in different states, so I figured she mentioned how much she paid for it in another video or something...and I figured it would be interesting to know since my boyfriend and I are looking for a home to buy and her home is exactly what he's looking for. But instead, I got someone who commented on my post telling me that that's very personal information and that they're sure she doesn't want anyone up in her business like that. If she didn't want anyone in her business then she shouldn't include her life in vlogs for the world to see. Ijs. But her home is definitely beautiful. :-) :-)

+Samantha McNamee-Laing we lived in McKinney and loved it!! You might be able to go check out our vlogs and get a feel for it maybe. I know I vlogged when we went downtown. McKinney downtown is know to be the best! Plus You will find McKinney in one the fastest growing cities and best places to live lists. But besides McKinney I recommend looking into Plano because you have EVERYTHING there!! But McKinney and Plano are only about 10-15 minutes apart.

Dream home congratulations another black home owner. but I have a question for you it may be personal but I'd rather ask direct. Because you are a new homeowner and let's say you are getting married or some sort right do you have the house but the b

The man moves into the womans house and it becomes their house.
It depends on the state because they enforce marriage laws differently but in a community property state when they get married it's just as much his house as it is hers

I personally see where you're coming from but if the man doesn't put a penny in and God forbid there is a divorce like what then I'm just trying to understand because it's something for to consider
+Excellence Baby Missylynn is single, so she owns the house outright. Even if the house is located in a community property state like California or Texas, she bought the house prior to marriage. This means if she marries and later (goodness forbid) divorces, the husband would have no legal claim to the house even in a divorce proceeding. During the relationship or marriage, they would have to discuss and work out their living arrangements. Some men find it difficult for their woman to be the breadwinner and hold all the cards, so they'd have to work it out amongst themselves.

Congrats on your new home! Watching you give the tour reminds me so much of when I bought my first home I too was 26 when I bought my first home. I was so worried and stressed and overwhelmed, therefore I couldn't really enjoy the process. It was a brand new construction home and it was really exciting but it was a realization that I was becoming an adult. Haha and now I'm on my 4th home! Congrats again and you have a very lovely home. I hope you continue to enjoy the process of decorations and all!

We just moved from Dallas to NY and yes the cost of living is so much higher up here!!
+OurLife Yesterday how much would something like what Missy has cost? we left NY because it sooo expensive. but later we would love to have options
+ayannaefaye1 from my experience it depends on where you are looking to buy. If you go father from the city like McKinney probably 250,000-300,000 but if you go even further to Melissa you can probably do 225,000-250,000. But if you are in like Plano or Frisco probably around 350,000. It depends on how much square footage she has also, so don't be upset if I'm wrong. Plus when we first moved to TX only about a year ago it was cheaper. Every year it gets more and more expensive since more people are moving there and big companies are moving there.
Lol in the uk a home like that would cost anywhere from 1million upwards depending on area.... So like 2-3million dollars. I need to move to the states 😳

If your a veteran you can use VA loan no need come up with a huge down, which is one of the few perks our vets get, we have VA loan if not for that and my husbands excellent credit score at the time we wouldn't been able to do it,..that's how we moved into our home , Praise GOD

Nice home lady...what area is it in? I could tell from the comments whether you where in Houston or Dallas Texas. Regardless, I like the house. I served in the Army most of my life (26) years, but never wanted to purchase a home until I retired from the military and (DOD) government...just three more years, Yah! It was nice to see a young woman like yourself give thanks to God for her blessings, which lets me know you were brought up right. I wish you continued success and fortune in life. Take care for your home and make improvements each year, like out door landscaping (flowers, Scrubs etc. it adds value and tax benefit. Don't forget to get a good home security system, also a great tax benefit. I loved the floor to ceiling windows, entertainment room and closet space, specifically. Again, great home and much happiness in the future enjoy. RGEE

I feel like 30 - 35 is a good age for having children (or don't have any at all if you want). SINK (single income no kids)or DINK (double income no kids) while building up your wealth if you want kids.
