Hi Jason, around 2:50 you talked about how you don't like to post your knee to prevent the transition. For the most part I agree with your reasoning of why.
But I often post that knee to make it seem like I REALLY don't want them to pass for the mount, then when the time comes you drop the barrier and they become hyperfocused on passing when they think they've got a good opportunity when in reality I'm even more ready to escape when they make their move.
I'm definitely going to catch the trailing leg more, I had so much success going for the other leg that I think I rely on getting it too much

the trick, for me, is to avoid the opponent spins while setting up a half guard, otherwise they gonna end up right on the back.
