Well well... the song after SOTW on the album is Put On A Smile.. it says "When I called you out your name that was my ego, pride and pain." So they are telling a story... And the song is yet another hit!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The Jabbawockeez member you are talking about is Phil Tayag...one of the first member of Jabbawockeez but is no longer a part of them due to some disputes within the group
The moment Anderson falls over and says “I’m not trying to be dramatic, but I want to die” is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in my life. These guys have an incredible mix of hooks, sophisticated arrangements, and humor like no one else.
Bruno Mars was on SNL some years back. Funny as hell. He can act too. It's on RUclips. Both these men are gifted. They are a great team along with all the musicians.
As a woman, I’m not offended with “bitch”. I understand the context hahahaha I use it too when my sister or friends are acting up with, “this bisssh”. I don’t mean it in a derogatory way. So I get it when a guy would use it. If it were reverse and I be signing about a guy, I’d say, “this mofo…” 🤣 it’s all good!!!
to be honest, i'm not offended with this either. this is how the guy feels! he's angry, he pissed, this broad got her bad azzed kids running around HIS HOUSE THAT HE IS PAYING THE RENT FOR LIKE ITS CHUCK E CHEESE and she is running the streets not being respectful or caring to him? heyell yeah, he had to call her out!
All you guys are cool 🙌🏼 love reading your comments. I get it. If someone wrongs you, we all be saying, “this bitch” - it’s justified! Especially in the context of this song- if she’s doing all that, then hell! 🤣 I would rather a guy think or call a woman that (hopefully not to her face haha!), then to be physical and punch her. You gotta let out your frustrations somehow!
I knew someone was gonna complain about the B word...but they didn't mind when Meredith Brooks had that hit 'I'm a bitch, I'm a liar', or Elton John singing The Bitch is Back 40+ years ago. Pink calls someone a little bitch in her song too. It's hardly shocking, but I bet they do replace it in the radio version.
The "b-word" shows up everywhere. In this context it is exactly what he would say! This sounds "true" . FOLKS ALSO have made reference to the cigarettes- but again, this is a performance not a mental health referral! Relax and have gun, people. Bruno and Anderson are performers and this song a dis, a howl of pain, a love song is a whole play!
YES!! I am a woman and I understood what they were doing.. The "dis bitch" chorus was PERFECT!! I can't speak for other females that are triggered by the language used, they are just obviously too thin skinned for the type of song. I am confident in myself and do not feel as threatened by verbiage as some girls clearly seem to be. If this song offended you the you likely are the person they are singing about!! LOL
It doesn't bother me at all. I "dont or didn't" take it Personal..I'll say it again..They were "Smooth and Comical" all at the same time! Thank for reacting again:)

As far as using the “B” he was emphasizing that he mad as hell because of what this chick was doing while he was doing all this stuff for her. He delivered that song with class. Lol
This makes me so happy. My dad, Lincoln, who passed away in March was an amazing dancer. He could dance to anything.I have so many fond memories of him dancing like this during the 1970's. He would have LOVED this!!
When I was a kid my favorite outfit was a burgundy long sleeved velour v neck and a pair of plaid pants, I remember it like it was yesterday. Wanted to wear it every day 😂 That’s what happens when your a child of the 70’s 😂 And that’s exactly what I thought of when Quintel said their suits were velour 😂
That is so true, what you guys are saying, I know exactly why he said the word bitch, I feel his pain, I understand the pain they are going through, I love the song and the video, I have that song in my head all the time, he brought back my 70s vibe I love it, thanks guys

THEY DID THAT ! The chalk outline scene was Classic ! I laughed and teared-up at the same time. This is some heavy subject matter. How hurtful is "She belongs to everybody" They took this PAIN and turned it into a huge HIT !
Most talent walking the planet right now, I'm not sure what he can't do🤔😇 I bet he could tour with Santana and sing all his early stuff...then do a retro 80's hits performance INCLUDING dancing...then turn into a crooner❗ I wish him much success👍👍
Hey guys! I totally understand their pain and frustration. They treated her like a LADY, but found out she was the community food bowl... everyone's eating from it.. Unless you have been cut this deep you won't understand. A lot of people (men & women) can relate. Keep it up 👏
Hey gentlemen, loved your reaction, as for the B word you have to see the humor in it with this entire song, it's not like how the B word is used in many rap songs. You gotta love this shear genius!!!!

Great analysis! You're right with the explanation of using the "B" word. It was a shocker for me, however the lyrics mentioned all the trifling things this lady did to him. I felt the hurt and pain.
Brilliant reaction, loved you were all vibing out to it. I also agree that saying the word Bitch is not something to stress about its mixing 1970s music, style, words, and fashion forward to 2000s.
This song is funny but it's coming from pain. The part where he said he let her kids run through my house like chucky cheese and he just spent $45, 000 on diamonds and rings. I know that pain because who haven't been through that. Especially when you get mad and us women have called a man a bitch or mf. I been through it and understood where this song was coming from.
I’m a woman and I was not offended by the B word in this song. When he said “This Bitch!!” I felt his pain. You guys are right, there was no other word that could’ve given the same emotional reaction. I also like the part when they sing Hercules, Hercules it reminds me of Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor. Amazing song and great reaction.
Can't call a duck a tweety bird! No "chick" would do those things, and a "trick" wouldn't be around long enough! They used the B-word in the right context. Good post, J & Bros!
Man, I was waiting on your reaction to this. It's so good. I thought the drummer looked like Bruno. I read later he's Brunos' brother Eric and one of the back up singers is Kirk Whalum nephew.
The use of the B word is appropriate in the context. Sensitive Sallys are lucky that the C word didn't match the lyrics well. :)
