- Facebook Marketplace is STILL Wildin! Just when I thought the listings couldn't get any sillier than the Cardboard Tesla Cybertrucks, we have "No" for sale for $400. From Ford Mavericks, Toyota FJ Cruisers, Rare Kit Cars, Silly Kit Cars, and more...here are some of the WILDEST Listings I found on FB Marketplace this month!
You can tell I'm happy since I talk in a manner that isn't present in my other videos. As for what Cancer I have. It's Esophageal Cancer and I was diagnosed in 2019. I vaguely mentioned it back then, but got bullied by Car Guys for saying it, so I deleted that video and haven't spoken of it since. I'm not looking for sympathy anyways, It's not a super fast progressing disease, but it's usually a 15-22 year left expectancy remaining after onset (I got it at 21). Hence why I'm not entirely joking when I say, "I'm in my mid-life crisis".
It also causes my voice to get deeper than it's biologically supposed to be, but treatment has slowly brought my voice back up. I had a really deep voice in 2017-2018, but I noticed some of my old subs are confused as to "Where did that voice go?" and in 2019 I just couldn't really bring myself to explain my full situation. I'm not one to chase sympathy anyways which is why I'm hiding all this trauma dumping in the description. Not all Throats are affected the same, it depends if it's closer to the Larynx or not. Some people go from Deep to Deeper, some Girls go from High pitched to Lower Pitched Boy in Puberty Teenager Years. Others fall somewhere in between. It affects everyone differently.
(The best comparison I can think of is like, Corpse Husband with GERD, except a few steps further since GERD is a step away from Barrett's which is Pre-cancer and actual Esophageal Cancer like where I'm at now. No, I'm not trying to turn suffering into a competition do not misconstrue the meaning, I am merely pointing out how my voice in my lifetime would've likely been WAY HIGHER had I not had this disease lmao)
I actually edited out a tangent of me elaborating on my life in the first video. I made a dark joke during the Wheelchair part where I said, "Maybe in my final years, being wheelchair bound won't be so bad if I have this Action Trackchair." I edited it out as it totally destroyed the otherwise uplifting mood of that video.

@@BladedAngel It really is good for fertilizer and also when making large amounts of compost. It was one of the common things we used for that at an excavation company I used to work for. (because my bosses mother had a horse farm, so it was readily available)

edit: also, it really isn't bad to work with. People tend to get used to the smell almost immediately and its not like its a hazmat.

I live in arkansas and usually find some gems. last week I saw an 8th gen F350 single cab with a 7.3 IDI 4x4 manual with less than 200k on it for about 6k that just needed a pair of batteries. Right next to it was a race boat with a wacky ass forced induction setup and a pair of crazy big CFM carburetors going for like 50k

Facebook Marketplace has become the new Craigslist, which had become the new ebay for vehicles.
It's sad that dealerships have swarmed Craigs and posted payment prices rather than full price. It's disappointing because these dealerships flood Craigs when I genuinely want a vehicle I can buy on the cheap that isn't going to eat my check.
Honestly 7k for that FJ is a fair deal since you can't find them for under 20k at any dealership.
You can specify sales "by owner" to get rid of dealership listings, but it is annoying that you have to.
Fun fact about that Nash Metropolitan: They share a TON of parts with MGs, which means parts are actually pretty attainable and you can upgrade them with MGB parts for better handling and more power. There have been at least a few people crazy enough to autocross them for that reason. If you were to someday try classic car ownership, that'd be a fun one for sure.

That Nash is probably the best example for a restoration project, it literally have everything intact. 7k for such a complete and not rotted through classics would be a lil steep but honestly worth it.
I've seen some absurd cars and garage builds, and some wildly offensive listings too. One was a guy selling a chicken burgers listed as a Jeep, and one was selling a low credit score as a hellcat 💀

I just participated in an auction that featured a Bricklin. Went for quite a bit $18k I believe. Apparently the car was designed to be the worlds safest sports car. The 2 separated Ford engines were used , a 351 and I can't recall the other.

The Facebook marketplace listings in this state are absolutely wild, I’ve even seen people selling cuttings of psychedelic cacti like San Pedro and Peruvian torch in this state which contain the drug mescaline. The cactus is legal for ornamental purposes but it was clear it was catering towards people wanting to trip on schedule I drugs. I’ve sold a ton of stuff on marketplace out here too and half of the meetups are wild, sold some dude a microphone stand and we smoked a 3.5g blunt he rolled together, some of the best weed I’ve had in a while. I’ve also met with some absolute tweakers especially in areas like Marietta to sell shit and they really love speakers 😂

The Nash Metropolitan is an American car sold in the UK I believe. And the rarer one is the Hudson one from when Nash and Hudson made AMC they kept their names and logos

The bricklin sv1 is supposed to be “a safe cool car for young people” when it came out, hence the name, saftey vehicle 1. But it’s built on a ford or Volkswagen chassis, and the doors open painfully slow.
The bricklin sv1 was plauged by the same ugly bumpers of all cars of the 70's, but bricklin tried to hide it instead of putting rubber on chrome as so many others did.
