Public domain aside, the best way to go with AI and deepfakes is something similar to what they did with Luke in Mando and TBoBF : a mix of body doubles with uncanny resemblance (or very good voice impressionists) and then apply deepfake, ReSpeech or AI voices to smooth things around.
Actually there is a way to go horribly wrong is the fact that people are using artificial intelligence to revive dead actors Weather the project is public domain or not it doesn't change the fact that using artificial intelligence whether to copy someones likeness or Voice or just a revive a dead actor is still really messed up and extremely disrespectful I just wish people in this world had a little bit more understanding ngl
@@billbakyl It's in Bob Iger's autobiography, that George having some involvement in the sequels was a major stickler, but if it extended to 2013, he'd take a tax hit.
George lucas must die first, but it will be difficult since the Star Wars name is trademarked so it can't be your title but you can at least use the characters in your own story.
Most wonders, but according to producers and developers. They told that the news, "Mickey Mouse entered public domain". They senses all franchises what leaked the genres has entered public domain.
@@saberiandream316 Can they keep extending the deadline for the domain. An ya, its samething with EA why would sell their ip? Even not doing well if you keep it no one else can use anything from that ip

Will be dead or very old, holy shit. I never knew it would take 95 years for ip to enter public domain. You wont get to do anything with it/ dang imagine if you could get access to the EU material and just have fans adapted. That's fuck sucks ass damn. That really sucks
Or we can just make a story with similar characters but in other universe. No copyrighting that. If anything, this will only give us more space for creativity!
You’re not gonna be around for that and the other Filoni haters will probably die out too unless they’re petty enough to indoctrinate their kids to create a multigenerational grudge against one man that would probably be dead when they could freely tarnish his creations.

If it was public domain Filoni would rewrite the entire franchise.
And others would rewrite Furloni´s crappy glorified fanfics. I would start with killing off Bo-Karen, Dangerhair and yes, even Ahsoka.
He could, but it wouldn't matter because everyone could

It would be quite a while before public domain, depending on the original author.
if lucas still owned star wars, would he allow it go public domain?
Nope, because he sold it to avoid paying taxes.
@@saberiandream316 that makes no sense
Most likely not.

Probably never considering Disney
Yeah, once they got it, they'll never let it go, lol. I sincerely doubt Mickey Mouse is going to enter the public domain.

By the time it does, it'll be too late for us to really care about it or do anything interesting with it.

If it happened kennady will replace every character with a diveresed women

I only care about everything before episode 7
When you say public domain, do you mean characters like Luke Skywalker all characters like rey that are new lol
luke skywalker would be public domain
95 years
do you really think star wars will last that long, its pretty much dead now
Probably not but also likely. If Star Wars keeps going the route it is it won’t last long but if Disney loses ownership than it should be fine.
Song of the South, Winnie the Pooh and Air Bud are the Only Disney Franchises I Liked.
It lasted from 1977 to 2014 (37 years) easily. Its only dead because we're getting terrible stories.
