      I mean it was my favorite Spider-Man show when I was around 5 years old (before Spectacular came out). Now I’d rank it at about 3rd place, but I digress. A 3 year old could watch this if they really wanted to, it won’t hurt anyone. I think people tend to underestimate kids. You’d be surprised some of the things they can pick up on or even be okay with haha

      It’s more like he didn’t make it in time to save the villains, or the villains just allow themselves to die like the Lizard. But in the case with the mind-controlling twins, they forced him to almost murder Kraven and severely injured Indy. So you can’t blame Spidey for not being able to save everyone when the situation was out of his control.

    I know a lot of people see all this killing as a good thing but as a kid and even as an adult it just turned me off and made feel a little uncomfortable I don’t mind it when a show like supernatural or the walking dead does it because well they’re fighting monster demons or zombies here it feels like they just threw it in to be mature and edgy and they just do it for shock value I mean I know I shouldn’t be talking because carnage does even worse stuff in the spider-man comics but before hand and afterwards I just preferred Spider-Man being fantasy violence all the killing in this show just didn’t do it for me because it felt so out of place in a Spider-Man cartoon I mean maybe I just feel this way because the Spider-Man cartoons before and after it played it safe and it was punching kicking or webbing the bad guys up I know everyone hated that spidey couldn’t punch in the 90’s animated series and the police and everyone else used laser guns but to me those are nitpicks as long as the stories were well written and interesting I didn’t care so I’m gonna get some hate but I wasn’t a fan of all violent killing in this show FIGHT ME

      Yeah but the Peter Parker drama was realistic. I felt they weren't being edgy just realistic

    • @SJ_RANKS
      @SJ_RANKS 2 года назад

      Yeah but at the same time when you kill the villains off (which some of them weren’t that interesting outside of electro and the lizard) you don’t get to use them again also what the hell was with this shows need to make new villains like in the 60’s cartoon it made sense because Spider-Man was just getting his feat wet and didn’t have that huge catalog of villains like he does now so it made sense if the excuse is that it’s connected to the movies
      1. Lizard gets killed off and then he appears in Spider-Man 2&3 which immediately debunks that theory
      And
      2. There are some obscure lesser known villains you could’ve used and I’ll list them off for you
      Hammerhead
      Tombstone
      Silvermane
      Shocker
      Rocket racer
      Hydroman
      Jackal
      Moltenman
      Alastair smythe and the spider slayers
      The enforcers (Montana,fancy Dan,ox)
      There I just listed 10 obscure villains you could’ve used because let’s face it none of these new villains weren’t that great and I highly doubt people remember any of them like they do with Harley Quinn
      Hell you could’ve used black cat but they don’t do that no instead heres a random ass cat burglar lady come on black cat was practically gift wrapped for you and you still felt the need to make a cat burglar villain this bothered me as a kid and I was wondering where the actual Spider-Man villains were and instead I get these lame knock offs
      The Gaines twins are basically Mysterio (or scarecrow from Batman)
      Turbo jet is rocket racer and blue streak fused into one
      Cat burglar lady as previously mentioned is just black cat
      Pteradax is just beetle or vulture
      And
      Sword lady is just kraven and he was in still in the show
      You didn’t have to use the big name villains like venom or doc ock like I said there’s a sh🐬t ton of villains in spidey’s catalog you could’ve used I do not get this show

      I think its extremely limiting to say all Spider Man cartoons should be kid friendly or lack violence. We’re guaranteed a kid friendly spider man show every couple years but more violent ones like this are much more rare so I’m glad we gut stuff like this once in a while. Also death can make the stakes much higher in a story and the only benefit of no death at all is for a never ending story that always goes back to the status quo.

    • @SJ_RANKS
      @SJ_RANKS 2 года назад +1

      @@beefboy3357 then I guess it’s just not for me maybe I just didn’t like the violence as a kid the pandering to teenagers feel from mtv or the shows need to make new villains instead of using obscure villains in spidey’s rogues gallery and the lack of aunt may just pissed me off as a kid she’s a great character and it sucks that this show removed her to keep a teenage audience interested so maybe I’m just used to shows like Spider-Man the animated series,Spider-Man unlimited and spectacular Spider-Man if you people like this show good for you but as for me I never really liked it as a kid or an adult even if I do like electro and lizard and Neil Patrick Harris as Spider-Man this show just did not do it for me
