      I’m wanting to purchase a Blu Tech hose but the discount is not showing up. Please advise.

      @@BonnieJaeckle I’m just finding this out as of a few days ago myself but I guess the way it works is that if you’ve visited their site before in the past and then use my link at a later time the discount doesn’t work because you are considered “their” customer and I’m not the one who technically drove you to the sale or their site. Doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m thinking you could use another computer or phone different from your usual one you use and try the link again from there to get the discount? Should work. Let me know

    I use these hoses with my BluTec water filtration system. One point, they will kink, like every other hose. Just handle properly and they will last a LONG time. Thanks for the great video!

    • @WhyWait
      @WhyWait  9 месяцев назад

      Sure if you got careless with them and started dragging them around you could kink them up but compared to most so much better right. Appreciate you watching 👍🏼

    Niiiice hoses!!! The only caveat I see, is them growing legs late at night at the campground and never returning.
    We have the Zero-G hoses and they are ok. Have had a couple of them start leaking at the collars - a common problem and had to replace.
    👍😃🍺

    • @WhyWait
      @WhyWait  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah I use to use zero G too. Love these things! I always feel pretty safe in the campgrounds we have stayed at. 5 years full timing and we leave bikes out, the Blackstone, other stuff…never had a problem. Anything’s possible though 🤷🏻‍♂️
      Thank for watching Mike. 👍🏼

    I went on Amazon and bought the stainless steel washing machine hose because that is what they are. I bought the double male threaded coupler and the quick connector fitting. So much cheaper now I customize the lengths. During the winter I use the heater tape for the hose and foam board to cover the filter.

    Those hoses are epic. Might be going on my wishlist. We went through a lot of hoses until we got the 50 foot AquaJoe from Walmart. THat hose has lasted us several years now.

    I have the BluTech system and they do great a make product but I wouldn't use their stainless steel hoses outdoor during the winter months. I would be afraid of them freezing more quickly than a regular hose. Especially when you have weather temp swings. For example today is a high of 74 degrees in my area but we saw a low of 31 degrees overnight last night. I've been weary of leaving mine outside during the cooler season for that reason.

    • @WhyWait
      @WhyWait  5 месяцев назад +1

      I never use any hose during the winter months, they will all freeze. I use a heated water hose I made myself. I believe Blu tech has a heated water hose they offer as well.

    I have bought the blu technology R3 filtration system and water softener system, but in was wanting to know how to install it and still use my filter in the wet bay. I have a Grand Design Solitude... help please.

    • @WhyWait
      @WhyWait  2 месяца назад +1

      Should have instructions that came with it. If not you can always contact Blu Technology for help. Not sure what to tell you other than you hook your hose up to it and turn your water on. You can either still you a filter in your wet bay or don’t. It would just be extra filtration but not really necessary since you have the R3 now.

    I live full time. How would i keep these and the Blu technology filters from freezing in the winter?

    • @WhyWait
      @WhyWait  9 месяцев назад

      We have been full timing for 5 years as well. In short…you don’t hahaha. Now I will say lots of new RVs have a space right inside the basement next to the wet bay for this filtration system because of its small size. Even Blu technologies water softener has wall mounts to keep that inside the basement as well. Other wise you will have to disconnect this during freezing nights. We have a Blu tech solo unit installed under our kitchen sink. We run a 0.2 micron filter in that as well as in our wet bay canister filter. We have videos on how to make your own heated water hose so you could use this one in winter. Blu Technology also makes a high quality heated water hose. You can find a few videos with tips for RVing in the winter. If you’d like I can share them to you. Thanks for watching.
