    Greato shots man. Did you take a slider with you for the moving Timelapse? insane shot BTW.
    Story telling, composition, all vevry good and nice to watch. I only had to increase volume everytime you would talk, I think the voice levels were a little bit under, but nothing major.
    All the content on your channel is top notch.
    I would love to know a little bit of your under protection, and rear bumper. I am looking to plan this trip next year!.

      Thanks so much!!! I’ll try and crank the vocal level up for the next one. Appreciate the feedback!
      I have the RCI skids and plan to install their fuel tank and engine skid next.
      I did use a (new to me) time-lapse slider and finally got it to work correctly on the last night. Hoping to use it for more production stuff.
      Cheers!

    Beautiful trip. Nicely photographed and produced. Can appreciate the effort you put into the video. Could I make a suggestion? Sprinkle in trail and place names during your narration if you do something like this again? I know we can view the route, but mentions during the video would give them context.
    Thanks again, and congrats on a great trip.

    Wow, what an epic template for a future trip! Thank you for keeping me inspired to build an overland 4Runner like yours. And thanks for the route, I’ll definitely file that away. One question: if you had a TRD Off Road with the rear locker, would have had to modify your plans? Thanks. -Chris⛰️🚙

      Thanks so much! 🙏🏼 It was more of a clearance issue, we ended up hitting the trailing arm mount/bracket and skid plates on the rocks. Maybe with a 3” lift 35s and lockers it would be possible. If we did it in the opposite direction we could have probably just slid down the rocks. The route we planned to take was actually a bypass route to avoid a water crossing. The water was too high being spring time so we took the bypass but hit then hit that steep rocky section

    What a great video…as always. I did a similar trip a couple of years ago from Vancouver to Westcott in Arizona for a couple mods. Then went up through Utah to see my daughter…only my truck is mainly stock, and I don’t have a drone lol. Such great scenery, isn’t it?
    Btw… last year you told me to give you an update on my master cylinder issues… I’ve actually had a lot of grief with Toyota, but still love my 4runner. I’m not a RUclipsr, but here is a (cheesy) video I made, and the response has been overwhelming…

      Wow, I’ll have to check out the whole video when I get a moment. I didn’t realize you were in the Van area. Not sure which dealer you used but I picked up my 4runner from Open Road in Richmond. I actually had a somewhat serious issue but they resolved it quickly for me and paid for my travel back over. Sorry you’ve had so much grief with yours esp that master cylinder. Utah was incredible and I’m actually thinking about hitting Arizona in 2025. Thanks for the kind words!

    Just so you and everyone knows, Utah and most public lands are a leave no trace, take nothing. While the rocks, shells and petrified wood is awesome, it's illegal to take them.

      Thanks man!! We had a great time out there but damn it went by too fast. Wish we had about two weeks. Felt good to put the runner through it paces. Top of the world trail was definitely the most challenging. Unfortunately we didn’t record as much as we would have liked on that trail though, there were some good obstacles. The scenery was stunning all over, so much to see out there!

    As I was watching you add fuel in your 4Runner from jerry cans and you already relocated your spare tire, have you ever considered installing the Long Range America auxiliary 24-gal fuel tank?

    • @T4Rgarage
      @T4Rgarage  4 месяца назад +1

      I’ve thought about it but I’ve heard they require some troubleshooting from time to time. Lifestyle Overland put one in his Gx and 4Runner and reported having to deal with codes and other issues. I know he’s removed it from the Gx since, not sure about the 4runner, I’ll have to look into it more

    • @T4Rgarage
      @T4Rgarage  4 месяца назад +1

      @@jollytime0811 I used a cam buckle strap to hold it on, followed by a ratchet strap to cinch it down. I get it tight enough where the boards push into the tire and won’t budge. I run another strap through the slots in the boards and tie it to the wheel just in case the straps fail

      @@HungNguyen-jq2lx Yeah, everything stock. It was surprisingly capable through Onion Creek, Marlboro Point, and Chicken Corners. However, there was a few moments on Chicken Corners where beefier tires and a lift might have been helpful. But just picked my lines carefully and even first walked a few of the lines to plan my attack. Currently researching some upgrades for future.

      May I suggest SAMOUT 12v Digital Air Compressor. You can pre-set the tire pressure you want and it will automatically shut off when it reached that pressure. Not sponsored by that company. Love your channel by the way, keep it up. Enjoy every bit of it.
