But if he loved you, he was loyal to the end and would never dream of "purposely" unleashing his darkness on you. Now if he didn't know you, or worse hated you, yep you're getting a metal pipe up the butt.

Tig is a killer no doubt. The issue with Donna, and why it hurt him, was she was an innocent and family. Like Lyles dad the man was a junkie and untrustworthy so Tig had no qualms with that kill, thats why He had no qualms about Jemma.
Yes, Clay got his hooks into Tig b/c Tig is loyal & trying to do a good job. Clay & Tig should have confronted Opie with the wiretaps & bank account. Had they put their heads together for 2 hours, they would have figured out it was Stahl.

Crazy how he continued to work closely with Piney, Jax and Opie for the remainder of their time on the show together. I mean, hell, technically Opie saves Tig’s life in prison during the “I got this” scene, when they definitely could’ve offered up Tig, I think Op, Jax and Chibbs woulda voted that way if it came down to a vote.
@@alexjames4770 It couldn't ended that way - Pope wanted "one Son dead and Tig in jail for rest of his life". If they would sacrifice Tig, I'm pretty sure Pope would want another Son dead. In the scene where Opie sacrificed himself ("I got this" scene), he basically outrun Jax, who wanted to sacrifice himself - You can tell that by watching how Jax didn't wanted to tell anyone and how Jax handled whole situation.

This whole episode (Season 2, Episode 11) is one of my favorites. Gemma's confession psychologically impacts Tig, Clay, Jax, Chibs, Piney and Tara, not to mention Gemma herself, in different ways. The episode thoughtfully goes through all of the after-effects, one of which happens to be Tig feeling the need to come clean about what happened to Donna.
This is why I grew to love Tig’s character, he was always upfront, honest and loyal to the cause. He knew what he did, couldn’t stomach keeping it to himself any further and finally told Opie what he did. He was always a real one

I remember being so impressed by the writing of this show. Such realistic timing for a character to just break down and confess. It's almost like Kurt Sutter suprises himself while writing lol.
I’ll never forget when someone pointed out that that one scene where Tig is trippin out on shrooms and he’s crying while holding that doll, it’s possible the shrooms were making him think he was talking to Donna, which seriously makes that scene hit so much harder. The guilt Tig felt was something you can only imagine. “Im sorry… im so sorry… I’m so so sorry, I’m so sorry” 😢
Tig is hardcore but he is NOT a sociopath. Tigs character is a prime example of what happens when a fragile soul exposes themselves to the dark levels of life. It breaks them and tears them to shreds over the years. That's why Tig is so conflicted, so twisted as a person because he's not built for that shit. With that's said, he's not built for it but he's tough as nails and that's why he's been able to survive. Jax on the other hand is a sociopath and it shows deeply throughout the show.
Lol, so you think Jax is the sociopath and not Tig? Tig was literally crazy the whole show. In season 1 he even kept complaining to Clay that Jax wasn't built for the life and couldn't pull a trigger. Jax also stopped Tig from killing a teenage witness and fought him over it and let her go. Now I'm not arguing that Jax didn't become crazy but you made it sound as if Jax was insane the whole show and he wasn't at all. In season 1 he wouldn't really shoot anyone unless there was no other option and he was young. The only reason Jax went crazy is bc everything he had been through from season 1 till the end but even then idk if you know what a sociopath is. Tig enjoyed killing people who he meant to kill or course. Jax only killed people who hurt him and his family or who he thought did. The whole season 7 was a bunch of people dying who didn't do anything to him but that was bc of a lie that Gemma told so in his mind they did deserve it. Gemmas and Clay's lies caused Jax to be the way he was and in real life all that would probably drive anyone crazy.
@@ragnarok283 I honestly believe that Jax was not as smart as he thought he was. Many of the people that died in the show were murdered because of his poor decisions.

@@zomkiller200o my too😂😂😂 better who Chibs
me and my friend used to say "Jesus Christ" randomly the way Bobby did here and laugh ourselves out lol. Bobby's "Jesus Christ" was a really epic reaction tho
Yes!! 😆 the best!!
@@pedrofonseca5527 LOL 😆 I personally love the rare moments when Chibs says “Mary Mother of Christ!” and “Jesus, Mary & Joseph” 😆
SoA is one of my favorites TV shows around, the acting and stories are so well put together.
Kim Coates is such a powerhouse. Check out his performance in "Bad Blood", especially the end where he's confronted by Vitto for killing his son. "EVERYBODY WE EVER KILLED WAS SOMEBODY'S SON, VITTO!" He made the whole show worth watching.
He’s a terrible actor lol
@@borris3768 Haters gonna hate I guess? 🤷♀
Kim Coates… Canadian born, American made! Severely underrated actor!
Almost ever really major bad event can be lead back from a Clay decision. He honestly was the main villain and his choices effected the entire series even after he was killed.
that’s what a leader is. a leaders choices affect everyone.
@@deeznuts-sn1di a shitty leader makes many bad decisions as clay did . he only knew violence and had very little tact . and basically made samcro all have to deal with all his shit
I still think gemma is the main villain. Yes clay was bad but jax killed way more when he was president.
@@flux2956 Correct as she was the one who influenced Clay to sabotage John Teller's bike which killed him. Gemma is considered the main antagonist of the series. Clay is the secondary main antagonist.
I just loved watching this series. The best ive watched so far.thruout the nite
I literally just commented that a few minutes ago after we watching the series. I completely missed the connection the first time around. Powerful.
I'm like most of everyone here. Became a fan of Tig because of this scene.
that scene was perfect...i remember watching it the first time...
I love tigs character he’s a badass but vulnerable
I just loved tig n chibbs n oppie n the senior head of police infact I loved every single character#fantabulous 👍
It’s kinda mad to think everyone in this scene died in the show and tig was still standing after them hectic 7 seasons I love that he did too
Best tv show ever made.
He's a way too underrated actor. He's excellent.
Are u high? He’s an awful actor
@@borris3768 and you think you can do any better?
@@captaincold5481 yeah easily
@@borris3768 alright then prove it, since you seem to think so highly of yourself
Bruh he can't act
Underrated actor. Not just scene but a lot of others. Really great
Tig redeems himself here.. kim coates is amazing.
Hands down top 5 show for me !
They all are sociopaths except for Juice. Jax became a Machiavellian Master. He could outsmart Michael Corleone I bet
@@32tolife38 I know this is old but don't forget, Tig told Chibs "I'm fine, I needed this" about killing a innocent woman & getting rid of the bodies.
@@ragnarok283 I honestly believe that Jax was not as smart as he thought he was. Many of the people that died in the show were murdered because of his poor decisions.
@@ragnarok283 Half-Sack wasn’t
All Mr. Coats performances were the best. He is my absolute favourite of a fantastic cast.
This scene was so powerful, after the murder we never really saw ope and tig connect again until now..
I am glad I own all these on dvd I wish the meyans would release the rest of the seasons on dvd too
Great acting! I think Kim Coates is the best all around actor in the entire series!!
Are u on crack? He’s a terrible actor
Knew this dude was a good actor when I first saw him in "Waterworld". He KILLED it, in that movie. This show is by far his best performance tho....IMO.
It was Kim Coates idea to have Opie punch him until he couldn't anymore. Two great actors for sure. You should check out Bad Blood on Netflix with Kim Coates. Really good show.
Kim is fantastic in Bad Blood, it’s a great series! I hope they make a Season 3!
@@trishg4324 I agree!! I hope so.
