Unicycle Mten3 crash 35kph ish+-

- Hello everyone, it seems i didnt hear the beeps well plus I leaned too much a too fast, which resolved a crash. Anyhow now i have MSX, and thats a good wheel =) vids are coming very soon, thanks for watching
- Развлечения
Just bought an EUC. I'm watching crash videos so that I can spot some commonalities.
- Legs are basically pulled back and down from under you, unlike skateboard bails I've had where I could easily diveroll out of it this looks a lot like getting sucked down instead so shin and knee guards essential
- This also means that you can't roll over your shoulder as easily, so wrist/forearm protection essential
- There seems to be a very consistent level of sliding along the tarmac after the crash. Probably because of the speeds involved. This is the biggest argument I can see for the hefty amount of protection required.
I hate this aspect of it but I like things like "having skin", and "a recognizeable face", so will be buying more gear :(
Great approach. I did the same. Haven't crashed in real life yet. Touch wood.
Biggest tip: use alarms on EU world and set it 1-2mph before your EUCs alarm. Get helmet speakers to hear the alarm. Your EUC should never have to beep. Mine has probably beeped 5 times in 1000 miles.
well, 99% you will fall because of your shoes tip is touching the ground. thats why you dont wanna lean forward too close the ground. i think the pedals need adjustment the height from the ground. i watched alot of EUC crashed on youtube. its the shoes fault.
@@mostpassiveuser8904
Does the Sherman Max report the beep warning through bluetooth?
@@mostpassiveuser8904
What do you mean "never have to"?
I would think as you get better, you will naturally push it's limits and should come across the beep.
crashes at 35kph due to cutout -> proceeds to ride at 3 beeps
Lmao I was expecting a round 2
😂😂😂
I'm buying protective gear and wanted to see some crashes so I could know what to buy. This video was on the front page and now I know what to buy. Thanks, you're MVP dude ^^ Crashing for content :D
Dot certified helmet minimum get ce cert if u can find one get good wrist guards ennui are the best. Kneepads 1st then elbow I would say. I got the kneepad with sleve so they dont slip off in a crash. I wear motor cross gloves under my wrist guards. Some people with large eucs use a tether system...
Respect the beeps, i could hear the beeps all the way from here
I know what i could do with this wheel, however when you want to go and u forget that you have a little wheel :D i just pushed and leaned forward to much. this poor wheel couldnt give me what i needed :D
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 right on, glad you accepted the blame as most do not.
Thanks for documenting and sharing the details, it's helpful to understand how/what to protect!
Doesn't the Mten3 have a tiltback in this context - only beeps?
Hi, yes a bit but i push it too much 80kg for that little thing is too much
I think you've pushed that wheel to its limits so it's good to see you're graduating to a faster one. Speed demon!
i can only agree =)
the bigger inch wheel you ride, the safer? that looks like a 14 hes riding on?
I crashed on an inmotion V8F going 25 mph at least. spent a month bandaging myself back up. Let me tell you he's right hip protection is a must unless you want to be hurting every time you put on your belt!
Great how you saved the camera, live and learn.🇺🇸
It was at this moment when Josh realized he needs a faster wheel.
this wheel its great for a small distances and nice terrain
Thanks for you crash on the Mten3 I learnt a lot from it. I get me Mten3 512 this week.
yea, great, just dont push it too much as i did. its a small wheel, even tho i could do 40kph and it is still okay :)
That’s why you wear protective gear. 👍 I used to ride regular unicycles, leaned too far forward, went into a forward roll and caught the unicycle before it clobbered me. Fun times!
That EUC kicked the *beep" outta you.
Hi. Glad this crash wasn’t any worse. Hope your doing ok. After crashing myself, I now wear articulating knee guards with three straps to keep them in place in case of a crash and or slide. (O'Neal Pumpgun Pivot Knee Guards). I also always wear winter, summer gloves that cover my fingers. Glad you were wearing your helmet. Ride safe🙏
Hi ya, thanks yes, to have protective gear is a must. Ride save! :))
Just bought the exact same knee pads and they are still sexy AF. They match my EXN perfectly too. Same CF pattern.
I wear gloves under my wrist guards also to protect my skin.
Leatt double axis like monokat
I low sided my motorcycle at the track doing 60-70 mph wearing full racing leathers. It took the skin off of both knees and the knuckles of both hands, despite having all surfaces still covered by leather. The impact velocity makes it like cracking a leather whip on your delicate human skin.
Thats for sure I hope you are okay
Glad to see you ok, done that a few times - unfortunately!
yea man we all go through it in some point, its like have a motorbike :)
I'm surprised you held onto the selfie stick but damn man lol
yea man thanks :D
That's why I bought a knee guard that spans part of the thigh and shin, bec other types tend to slide. Of it won't to me it would be uncomfortably tight
Skater here: snapped motor wires while replacing bearings after 3000km.
Last week one motor goes PUFFF at 32km/h
Didn't even notice till I got home.
Even if all electronics exploded it's just a regular skateboard under my feet.
was gonna buy EUC for city commute but love my teeth too much.
Yes, EUCs have the WOW factor and comparisons are full of details and nuances but price, portability, spare parts, weight and safety are more important to me.
All the best and gear up 👍 cause EVERY TIME you have an accident on a EUC there's only one outcome.
You should probably buy yourself a bubble and 1000000 masks to cover every portion of your body. Who am I kidding you'll still be scared. Some people just aren't built for this world.
It's advisable pedal tilt back function should not be removed.
that wouldn't help =) anyhow now i am just riding msx and i am super happy with it
It is Gotway - the wheels they make is for suiciders anyway.
@@ShadKS18XL What? I dont know about other wheels from gotway apart of mten3 and MSX and i must say they are awesome wheels and i havent even heart of anyone to say other wise. Thanks for watching
Sergey Faynitskiy tell that to all the people who have cutouts on the 16X.
This is something that every EUC rider fears, personally I have EUC world bluetooth alerts on before the cut off limit.
im afraid that would help i really pushed it :D I was in a flying mode :D
That was a pretty bad fall. You will be sore for a while. 2 months after I had a full knee replacement. I felt good so I took out my Tesla. Didn't wear my knee protection. Sure enough fell off right on the knee replacement hurt my hip my wrist. Felt fine that night. Next day I was hurting. Could hardly walk my hip was really hurting. Out of commission for 2 weeks. So I feel bad for ya taking a spill.
ya feel you :D thx
If you see a guy riding around with bigg fluffy pillows tied around his butt and waist...that's me. 😂
I bailed on an e scooter. This brought back painful memories. 😅
;D
Thanks for sharing! It's good research info! I'm so glad you're wearing protection. Now I'm curious what's the best way to fall properly on a euc. Thanks again!
The best way is.. not to fall. Anyhow you have no time to react, sort of, you can expect it and then you want to go forward :D but riding in expecting mode is impossible
well fell, and the camera save! Wouldn't hurt to get the protection plan if you don't have it.
:D
At least with this tiny wheel, it flips around like a toy vs. our larger wheels that take on a life of their own and tumble into who knows what.
I can never get over how comically small that wheel is.
Wonder why not wear long pants and full gloves that cover the fingers, seem like a no brainer. Could have easily prevent some unnecessary cuts for those open areas in some situations. Doesn't even cost any extra money consider everyone has long pants and some full gloves around. And for those who wonder why he still hurt even with protection, this is probably because the pads "rub" the skin at high speed and causes those injuries.
The problem with the euc is it fast , so we drive in open street. The problem with crash is, it hurts, that's fine, but when u fell, n 'something' came that give you following COMBO, thats the real Problem. That something is could be car, motorcycle, truck, etc.. so keep safe drive, n put all your safety gear, n watch for your surrounding
exactly... if im having fun i make sure no one else than me will get involved
Glad your okay. thanks for sharing this video. It's very helpful
The hips ALWAYS hit on cutoff. Hip, elbow and sometimes ribs and chest.
hips almost always get involved.. it is weird that they dont make some good hip pads :(
Wow, always scary to see someone fall with a EUC... Happened to me with my v5f aswell, Keep safe ! Whats your Helmet, he fit well and doesnt look to big
hi, yup sanding the ground is not the best :) the helmet is just something i found, its not for motorbikes tho, bought it from sport shop

@@underwaterczechhunter2222 Glad it wasn't serious !
I had to order a new buzzer/beeper because mine failed on my MTen3, impossible to hear.
Exactly i think thats the worst thing, if you cant hear it, you cant react to it. Anyhow i dont have this problem with mxs, i can recognise when im doing 50, and also when you are fast and its windy you can not hear it too
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 I fixed it! New buzzer from ewheels.
Respect the Beep
There is always a problem with this, even tho i agree, but if you cant hear it or you just go for it too fast and too much (leaning) for this wheel. the wheel just cant handle it :D
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 I have in ears in my ear to hear the beep but at the moment iam searching a way to connect my KS18XL to the inears instand of the speakers and dont find a way todo it -.- without eucworld
OMG, well we all have to our lesson somehow. I've done it badly twice but it wasn't on film. I have permanent scars from road rash even wearing gear.
What armour is that - I smashed my shoulder a seperated it - need some good protection in that area
Looks like it's labeled "Emerze". I think his body armor is the Emerze EM3. I was able to find it for about 80€ inc VAT. If you're looking for something state side, look at some of Vee or ThaBlackCobra's videos; they link to a lot of safety equipment (via amazon affiliate links) in their video descriptions.
AlpineStar makes good armor as well

Ouch! Good job u had protection! Going to get one soon, was t going to bother with protection, I will now.
always do! :))) happy riding
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 good job I did! I crashed at 24mph a week or so later. Just aches no damages.👍
@2:06 I would throw those knee pads away and upgrade. Your knee pads saw the concrete coming and decided to get out the way:)
I clipped a bush on a sidewalk and sailed into a fence. WHAAP! BARK BARK BARK! it was hilarious! Ripped the bush out of the ground.
Dannng!! What kind of pads/helmet/body armor do you have?
How do you feel now?
Hey the recovery was quite quick :)) the pads are just simple once from decathlon , body army is for motorbikes
That's crazy! I'm glad you are ok. I'm very confused about how you captured this footage. Did you use a drone/quadcopter to record this or was someone following you around?
He was using a selfie stick.
@@BabbittdaWabbitt you can't even see the selfish stick 🤯
@@khurrammirza7526 miracle of editing software. ;)
hey, thanks, yea i was using insta 360 one x
A 360 camera usually doesn't show the stick
I'm just getting my first wheel and this is why I plan to cover as much of my body as possible.
for the start you wont ride as i did so dont worry that much however protect yourself thats for sure
When im using my headphones I can hear the alarm bips before the cut offs.
Because the unit connects to the Bluetooth and you hear it in your hear?
@@krikri3387 NO. I guess I'm hearing the EUC alarm 0:02 . The unicycle bips when it s overpower, before cutoff and the rider may slowdown immediately after the bips alarm. If you dont hear the alarm or dont respect it the EUC will turn off and...you fall.
good job on being geared up, but you should get some Leatt shin and knee guards.
The ones you have on are just going to slip down exposing your knee to the pavement.
Lol no fks given about the speed bumps At ALL
Because they are for cars :D :D
You fell, but none saw you and laughed at you, so it never happened🤣🤣🤣
actually almost 12,000 ppl saw him fall
@@surfsmith that was the joke
How funny would it have been if we heard his neighbors busting out laughing?
What if you did not wear your gears then what!😬
then i wont ride like this :) thats for sure :))))
Wowza. Glad you are OK. Ouch! Thanks for sharing. Which wheel app are you using for your MTen3? Have you considered getting some different knee guards and body armor that is more protective when having a fall? Stay safe.
Hey, thanks. I am using Gotway app. The body armor seem to be okay, not a problem, some parts are crack a bit. Kneel pads i think that something better would be definitely better. And the hips pads is a must! if i wouldnt have them, oh gosh. The one i have in the vid is just kneel pads. Thanks for watching
Immediately drives through beeps while complaining he's hurt from an accident caused by driving through beeps 😂
Thats only due to two things at least, you can not hear it, and it happens very fast
That is why people choosing Kingsong over Gotway...
Hi, i dont think kingsong would do any better, it was my fault,. this is a little wheel and great wheel, but it doesnt have that much power when i did what i did
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 I have a k16s 420h for less than a month, I'm 75kg and especially at the beginning many times the tilt back was so strong to push me back when at max speed. Now I just listen the beep and try to avoid the tilt back, and with always 35-40% plus battery. From my experience you have to do something really wrong, something that at this moment I don't know what, to overcome the tilt back.
@1:09 - was that woman walking a bear?
Is the Newfunland dog
Get some motorcycle pants when riding … class AA or class AAA. Also make sure your jacket zips to your pants too
Twitchy these 10 inch wheels. We have an mten2 and it's great fun but always feels on the edge. 😬
Really? :D haha I didnt have that pleasure with that one
His Phone at his arm 😄 what a geek
:D :D
His knee pads seem loose. And, you know it's not so good if your phone starts bleeding lol

perfect falling technique...
using your left hand to brace the fall.... ouch
Cool video!
Hip protection is overlooked a lot
Exactly! And i havent found a good one yet
Dobrá tlama 😂🎉😅
I've been there before. You had way more protection than I did when it happened to me.
if i know i wanna have fun i protect myself ;)
I'd be crying like a baby
I didn't hear any beeps. That's scary man.
What if you are going 40 mph? Can you hear the beeps through a helmet?
Can it send the beep warnings through bluetooth? Is there ANY other way to get the warning message? That seems like a shortsighted system.
At least the Battery did not Blow!
Cutouts are some serious shit..
Awesome 😎 thanks 🙏
You have to learn to fall before you can learn how to fly. Boss!!
Did it hurt? 😂
A looooot :D
Oh, how about the machine. I'm worry about it. How much does it scratch or damage?
it got some scarfs over all its all good :D
So what happened..unser certain conditions, does it suddenly stop on you or..?
If you are going near max speed and still lean forward to accelerate then the draw on the batteries may be higher then they can handle and the wheel cuts out to protect the batteries. It does warn with beeping when you are at risk of doing that but he ignored it and paid the price.
beebs for a reason
ik thi sis 3 years old but you might of been leaning way to far Forword cuz it looks like your foot hit the ground before you fell off
How are you filming this?
Selfie stick.
hey, insta 360 one x
can u tell if this was 84v mten3 or 67v version?
84
Think I'll stick to esk8
Leatt knee protection he needs
I crashed the EXACT same way and got the Exact same injuries but worse. ( Wasn’t wearing any protective gear). I’m still not sure what happened. It happened so quick, but I was pushing it beyond the beeps. Why do you think this happens?
Adam Cole That happens with ALL eucs....they reach the end of the speed the voltage can give and then they cut off! Its physics for a self balancer
yup u just push too hard forward and there is not enough energy to keep up with you so it just shuts off
btw im saying it everywhere .. wear your rear, soon or later you will be thankful or you will regret :D
The greater the speed, the less torque is available to hold you up. It’s physics. No point blaming the wheel...it’s entirely your own fault. Pushing beyond the beeps will always end in disaster. The beeps are the wheel telling you it’s about to run out of torque.
@@underwaterczechhunter2222 shuts Off Why Not Just Have the Wheel Slowly Return To 0 Mph thats a dumb product if ive ever seen one

Dude, get larger knee pads. They are not supposed to move this easily. Most high-speed euc crashes will hurt the knees.

This is wheel issue or driving issue ?
This wheel, is great for smooth road,.you can go to forest but you have to go slowly. Plus any bumps and holes can super easy make you fly. Over all good and portable wheel but dont expect super fast fun. Msx is so much better ;))
driving issue, the wheel gave warning for exceeded speed and motor cut off...lesson learned...don't speed too much on a small wheel...just like he said respect the wheel.

Train falling on your protectors until it is inyour muscle memory. You fell on your unprotected hip, avoidable.
you must by kidding :D thanks for a funny comment :D
What would the Romans have thought of this.
I am sure they would say: Brace yourselves!!
Wow you should write down in description which knee pads are these so people know what not to buy - they're absolutely garbage! Instantly flops off and gives no protection after initial impact - that's really bad.. paid with your skin for no reason.
Those pads are for skating so they intention is elsewhere. Thats why ppl need to gear up.
HA-HA
I say normal 🙄. How could you be concentrated with the managing of your camera.
