That toilet, really a key selling point.

Yeah, with that plywood that will cut right into the back of your legs... most clever design by somebody who has never used a toilet, let alone a marine head.

The modern toilet if not used with footstool that simulates squatting to support the bowels, is a major cause of health problems.
The natural way is to squat, it supports the bowels and prevents pockets that hold waste matter.

Every fool who tries to copy the Fisher Motorsailors.. insists on duplicating it's worst feature, that settee with the backs that are dead vertical ! over and over I see this. NOBODY on earth, except maybe paraplegics who have to be strapped in.. want to sit bolt upright ! And then they also fail to put an actual berth in the pilot house, and worse, they eliminate the quarter berth instead of adding a second one. And the ultimate cost cutting measure.. which spells a short life for the boat.. they make the cabin out of plywood !

Maybe next time they should ask you before they build a new design.... smart ass!

Sounds like a solid opinion that dumped a load right on the deck of this boat! Now I have to take another closer look. Well, if the price were right, but I´m sure that´s asking too much.

I have to agree with you when it comes to the uncomfortable vertical back cushions. I recall when a settee was installed in our mess deck on our ship (RCN)....for our “comfort “.......but it was anything but...no one sat on it for long, instead it was only used to lay down on. At a boat show in Vancouver, I saw the same thing on a sloop with straight settee backs, I mentioned this to the builder of that boat, he was not too happy with my comment but it’s true...you can’t sit comfortably in a straight upright position for very long so this is a big deal when your boat is your second home....cheers🍷🇨🇦
