    Daniel - How wonderful! My grandson and I have been watching Leo's videos together, and he has been studying the violin for several years, so this is a welcome coming together of interests. We met you at the Maker Fair at UofL this past fall (he noted to me later that the bow needed rosin). Thanks for such a clear sense of your process.

    I used to be a boat builder and sailor, plus I've always loved classical music. So it was a pleasure to watch all the Tally Ho Violin videos for the 2nd time. It's also a real pleasure to watch such an incredible craftsman. Daniel, you can be proud of your amazing work. Well done!

    What a delight to watch the process! Makes me want my Cello back which I've stopped playing when I was 18 unfortunately. If I'd seen how such an instrument is made think I would not have stopped. What an art!

    I binged myself sick with envy on the Tally Ho fiddle project. The demonstrations, the construction techniques and the supporting commentary and visuals are packed with so much information it’s a tremendously valuable document of human knowledge and craft. Loved it.

    My brother and sister played string instruments. Brother did violin, and sister did cello. After watching this I have a much better appreciation for why my dad was so nuts about "being gentle" with these instruments. and there is no TH in height....

    Having watched Samson Boat for years, i have never seen anyone play the fiddle, its not like a ukelele and anyone can quickly pick up. Got a feeling it won't be on the boat for long.
