Can’t believe abby still didn’t believe she was in the wrong. If DEREK HOUGH and CHERYL BURKE, ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL DANCERS tell you you’re too strict on the kids, then you are too strict.
SMH not yall defending Abby. She blatantly destroyed them emotionally! Just look at some of the comments she made about the girls s appearance, they’re disgusting! There is a fine line between tough love and just straight up bullying and Abby crossed that line many times

i cannot believe that people are standing up for abby. she may have given those girls popularity/fame, but she destroyed them emotionally and mentally. her “teaching methods” were more than just strict - she put down her students and even judged them based on physical appearance. that is disgusting.
And literally only one of those girls actually got famous and a proper career out of it all and arguably it was actually Melissa that got her daughter those jobs NOT Abby. The other girls might as well have not bothered because it hurt them more than it helped them.
Cheryl is completely correct, especially nia, chloe and Kendal were all brought down confidence wise. These comments are on drugs if they think their mothers did that to them, the mothers were sure rude to Abby but if their kids ever wanted to leave they did.

No they didn’t. The mothers were just as much to blame. They subjected them knowingly to years of abuse and they stayed for the money. It is a parents job to protect their child, if you knowingly put them in danger you have failed as a parent.

@@AnonymousC-lm6tc they were under contract that made them pay an absurd amount of money to leave halfway through the season. the hylands had a 6 season contract but after the big fight, couldn’t take it anymore. the mothers were helpless, if anything

The kids on the show basically needed extreme therapy after that awful experience, even Maddie. Maddie was always supposed to be perfect, and she couldn’t even befriend the other girls on the team. Abby wanted them all to be rivals. Abby is a type of abuser. Making some of the kids have panic attacks at such a young age is a huge problem. Almost none of the moms could leave because of a contract making you pay lots of money. The moms were helpless. Kelly couldn’t tolerate watching Abby treat her kids miserably, both Brooke and Paige, it left her with no choice but to pay the money and leave for good. But we also have to put the blame on Gianna and the producers. First of all Gianna never even stood up to the kids when they were being mistreated, maybe because she didn’t wanna ruin the relationship between her and Abby and lose her job, but if she knew what Abby was doing is wrong, then there is no reason to support her because she is letting Abby continue to abuse the kids. But some of the dance moms kids on the show pointed out that Gianna was also as miserable as Abby because of calling them names and being rude. Jojo and Mackenzie stood up for Gia while Christi said she was as rude as Abby. Thats Christi and Chloe’s experience not theirs. The producers were very quiet while this happened just because of the show. And when the kids wanted to speak with their parents alone they just came in and took away their personal privacy. The kids could have been treated a whole lot better. Nia, Chloe, Mackenzie, Paige and Brooke deserved better. Nia never even got the time to show her talent and Abby making fun of her because of her ethnicity and other things. Abby nicknaming Chloe rude things and mocked her about her eyes. Mackenzie was always compared to her sister. Paige was always fearing Abby, and Brooke was always forced to keep dancing even when she had physical problems.
She ended up doing one season of DWTS juniors.

I agree with Abby’s comment about the producers. So many of the cast talked about how horrible the producers were . Although I don’t condone Abby’s behaviour
Abby is incredibly rude on the show. Some of the rude things she said on the show wasn’t put on the air. She has told Camryn that her feet looked weird. She told Nia that she didn’t want any Tooties on her team, made fun of Nia’s box braids, ruined Nia’s audition, told Nia that she should do the African dance better than Kalani because of her race. She mocked Vivi for being adopted. She told Adrianna that “you grew up in a hood with 8 crayons and I grew up in a country club with 64 crayons. Don’t be stupid.” and her skin was the reason that she got a spot on the team. She also mocked Nicaya and Kaya.
She told Chloe and Christi to fix Chloe’s eye, she has called other students overweight even Minister Dawn’s daughter Reagan, she has yelled at the children for showing their emotions, blaming the kids for their parents reactions.
Even the supposed “favorite” Maddie was yelled at by the evil dance teacher. She was told by Abby in an intimidating hostile manner to “turn the leg out! What is wrong with you?” If she refused to do a solo or go against Abby’s tricks, Abby would refuse to forgive her.
The kids were treading on egg shells because they didn’t want Abby to throw them to the crocodile pit.
Maddie was turned against the others because Abbyfavoured her. It was quite creepy tbh
I dont believe production is innocent and just doing their jobs. Every reality show says the same thing. Production starts problems, causes drama and make things appear how they are not. I feel they took over Abbys dance studio and she had no control and took it out on the girls.
It all depends how you see the situation or handle it
all of the dancers have said she was worse off camera. you’re right about the producers though! they were just as awful as her but in very VERY different ways. they produced drama yes, but it was abby bullying children for their physical disabilities and appearances and she herself has said she was never told by producers to be rude to the children. she said that was all her. however, as i said the crew isn’t innocent. they knowingly hired pedophiles (one was a camera man with a disgusting fixation on chloe, and a costume designer was also a pedo and designed some of the raunchy costumes used on the show like “broadway blondes”). they filmed the girls in distress when they clearly needed a moment alone, they made abby choreograph some weird af dances . apparently in season 6 abby stopped coming to work out of protest because the producers were trying to sexualise the kids in a dance and she didn’t want to. so abby wasn’t the ONLY problem with the show/studio but she is absolutely to blame for most of those girls’ trauma.
When is Cheryl going to be on dance moms and why is she taking Abby’s place? Can someone please explain this to me?

One of the things that I do like about Abby’s teaching method is that she doesn’t sugarcoat things, and she’s also tough, although that does not excuse the way she has demean and belittle those girls. I don’t know why people are making excuses for her, I understand that she gave them a platform Although there’s a difference between giving a correction and being a little bit tough with it because you don’t wanna sugarcoat it for the kid and you want them to be better, and just straight out belittling and demeaning a person. She would literally launch and come out crazy towards the girls especially Chloe And Nia including other members. I remember when she came after Nias hair one time, Kendall has also stated that Abby will call her fat all the time, Abby also called Chloe a sneak and a snake and came after to her lazy eye. This is only 0.5% of the messed up thing she has told to those girls, that wasn’t even a preview of her coming after them, she has literally demean those girls so many other times. The only girls that I could really say that receive the utter most respect and good times from Abby is Maddie, Kehlani, and (Kendall (sometimes though). McKenzie also receive some type of belittling words when she was compared to Maddie but at the end of the day Abby full on supported McKenzie.
So who's telling the truth about the producers?! Abby or Cheryl? Are the producers really good or really shady?!

You don’t scream or yell but you said Reagan was a better dancer than Chloe and nia, and gave her a routine with no turns , no leaps just basic flapping arms around on releve and her feet weren’t fully pointed

She didn’t say Reagan was a better dancer, she said she had better technique, which is not exactly the same. And I’m sorry but it was true. Although Nia is a great performer, her technique isn’t great despite her years and years of training, and Chloe wasn’t at the same level she used to be at as a child. How can you learn anything if your teacher doesn’t tell you the truth about your flaws?
She always was honest about their weaknesses but also made sure to tell them their strengths

So is Christi a liar then? Abby literally admitted that because Christi and Chloe had a contract saying they weren’t allowed to leave the show she could do or say whatever she wanted to them. THE COMPETITION JUDGE ALSO ADMITTED THAT ABBY TRIED TO FORCE THEM TO CHANGE CHLOE’S SCORE BECAUSE ABBY DIDN’T LIKE THE FACT THAT CHLOE WON.

They signed a contract and they had to stay, if they actually did leave they had to pay thousands of dollars and even though they were on TV making money it was a huge “fine” to pay
@@chloebrown7200 But why even sign the contract they been with her for years before the show even came about they knew how she was from the jump she didn't just change overnight. It was all about the fame and money for them moms if it wasn't they would have bever agreed to that and have such a big consequence for deciding to leave.
@@AnastasiaOctavia it has been reported that Abby was not as cruel as she was before the show started and she just gradually became worse and worse. Once she did start to become who she was they couldn’t get out cause of their contracts. They were locked in tight
@@gracedicken8708 that makes sense however they all had lawyers right because I remember at one point everybody was threatening her with their lawyer so what are lawyers for? Im hoping just not to say I have a lawyer and just for paperwork purposes. What Im saying is its mo amount of money in the world that cam allow mr yo have my child abused and humiliated so badly by anyone in front of the world no amount.

yeah I agree, Abby is their teacher, she did put a lot of pressure on them but its not her role to take care of their mental health, she did teach them how to have thick skin but theri moms always pushed them ,yelled at them and made them think they are not good enough ...
She didn’t actually blame Abby, she said their experience traumatised them.

The competition judge also admitted that Abby tried to force them to change Chloe’s score because she didn’t want Chloe to win. And Abby was the only one who made it look like the girls weren’t good enough, idk where you got the idea the moms did that. You must be watching a different show.
