Lemmo I'm so sorry for your loss brother, I've been there, I lost my father my grandfather and my best friend in a 3 month span. Cherish everyday people .
Sorry about your friend Michael. I lost my girlfriend of nearly a decade at the end of June, she was killed by a careless driver. It’s very sad for a young person to go so unexpectedly... she reluctantly watched GOTD everyday with me. Now the show keeps my mind form wandering for 10 minutes 5 days a week. Stay strong.
“If you can get past the little shit, it’s worth it.” Sending you love bro. I can tell the hurt and the pain in your heart. Condolences to you and all who love him.

I'm so sorry for your loss kid. The Lord has another angel in heaven. You just remember him with all the love that he gave. Blessing on this hard day!
I’ve had this video saved in my watch list for almost a year now. I watch probably at least once a week. Your rendition of a day in the life is so amazing!
We need more heart, less hate.......we are all so vulnerable, from random chaos, orchestrated hatred to insidious disease. Thank you for showing yours. We don’t get through all of this alone.
Sorry for your loss Michael. Your tune of "A day in the life" brought a tear after hearing about the loss of your friend. Condolences to you and his family.
I heard the news today oh boy.......more proof that the Beatles knew their way around a melody. Beautiful playing Michael, you seem like such a kind soul. And your talent brings joy to all of us. Encouraging you as much as i can and i mean it. Love and prayers for the family and friends of which you are one. It is such a blessing to hear you play and to know how much you loved your friend. God bless you man!
Sorry for you loss. That took a lot of strength to get through that opening. You did well. Also nice playing and guitar. "A Day in the life" brought tears to my eyes.
I come back here to be reminded that life is short and that music is a perfect way to express emotions. Let it flow through you and out to the world. Pretty hard to be pissed off when you hear the sweet sounds of an electric guitar through a reverb amp. Life is pretty sweet sometimes! Thanks, Lemmo! Thanks Norm! ❤
Two years later, still, I am sorry for your loss. Awesome guitar and demo, I'm sure that I fealt your friend's spirit as he came and listened to you play!
Hey Lemmo, im sorry for your loss. I lost my brother last year. Its been tough, but you and these videos have been helping me get by. You have such talent and such a positive energy. Its very uplifting. I always wanted to play guitar and gave up years ago. These videos have helped me start again and its really helped me cope as well. Music is such a gift we can all share. Thank you for sharing your talent and keep your head up!
Dominic Mariani thanks for sharing that. I haven’t dealt with any such loss lately but the videos really help me unwind and have been a super bonding situation between me and my oldest two kids, girls age 12 and 9. They love the videos and we talk about guitars and music almost every night. So sorry to hear that you lost your brother though. If you’re on Instagram there’s a guy that I follow who posts some really cool videos of him playing and you might enjoy it. His handle is “donniebellmusic”. Definitely worth your time. Hope that your days get brighter and brighter my friend! Stay strong!
I am so sorry for your loss! The guitar does help to pass the time. They say death is just part of life... but it is something I just cant get use to! Everyday is different. Check out how to play panatonic scales on youtube... cool stuff. You can use scales anywhere on the neck... get creative!
Sorry for your loss Lemmo! He is proud of you! Thank you for sharing that, and thank you for sharing your awesome guitar work! Thank you Jen for all of the awesome videos! And thank you Norman, for bringing us these awesome videos! Bless you guys and girl!
I always come back to this video because I love the mustang and forget every time about the intro and every time I find myself crying as a day in the life starts playing. Michael you are truly a light in so many people’s lives and I am so truly sorry you lost your friend. keep on keepin on man
Powerful emotive playing. Showcases the guitar as amazing as always. I’m so sorry for your loss. Horrible. Love and light to you and your friends family.
1:49 when he said even flow I thought of the song by Pearl Jam and thought of the lyric “someday he’ll begin his life again” sorry for your loss bro RIP
You’re literally one of the best guitars players I’ve heard, and I have heard and seen a lot!!! Mark was great I his own right but he strictly played covers. Your sound is truly unique!!!
I'm left speechless. You're an inspiration to all of us and myself included, and I have been playing for 20+ years,Lemmo. I can relate to your loss, and I can feel your emotions through your speech in the beginning and through your playing, thank you very much for sharing this episode with us✌
Sorry for for loss man! Thanks for sharing something so personal and of course painful. That takes a lot of strength! Just know all your GOTD viewers are behind you 100%.
Hi, I know it is too late for this video (maybe), but I just wanna say that it is ok to cry, this is life, I don't know why, but this is how it works, nobody knows who will stay here at the end of the day. I hope you got better man, it is a pleasure to see your content. This comments is with love.
Michael. How you managed to get through that was amazing. You are a fabulous warm caring human and a fantastic musician. You are an inspiration for many of us. God bless you Mike
I'm sorry for your loss man. There is no making sense of why things like this happen. But it is a reminder to cherish every moment with your loved ones and to not get distracted by small and silly things. Sending you good vibes and love from NorCal.
You are so great for having the balls to not edit out your feelings. I find the live life message inspiring. Then as I’m writing you play a day in the life. Thank you you so much
For those of you who don’t know, the song that he performed was “A Day in the Life” by The Beatles, which mentions a story of a man tragically passing away in a car accident. Truly moving.
Lemmo, you are one of the most real people in this world. Normans Rare Guitars made the best decision in their history of being a store by hiring you. Hands down! I continue to watch all of the videos with you in them every day. I'd love to jam with you in store one day. Cheers.
Watched this last night, thought they playing was excellent with and even better message. Today, my dog passed. Who knew how fast I'd need to watch this again. Thank you Lemmo, we love you.
hang in there dude. I've lost a friend before and while the pain lessens it never totally goes away. The best thing we can hope for coming out of this life is to be well and fondly remembered. You gave a beautiful memorial to your friend.
You are an amazing young man. Taking on the challenge of managing your emotions on camera to commemorate your friend Noah… it’s brave beyond brave, and beautiful. I felt your playing more than I heard. My love to you and everyone.
Lemmo, I’m sorry for your loss and pray you get some peace in your time of sorrow, remembering the good about your friend. Appreciate your words and all you do at Norm’s. You’re a good man.
Best known guitar player of this day and age. No doubt about it. I mean come on. Norm knows damn near EVERY actual KNOWN guitar player. Why else would he fuck with Lemmo so Heavy? Sometimes he says shit bout dude that he should be saying about his own son. Just saying. But man. This dude... I come watch his videos just to learn how to play. He's helped me more than he will evsr know. I come to this video when my mental health is fucking UNbareable and he saves me from taking my own life all the damn time. I appreciate what the fuck he takes his time and does for us who may not even deserve it. This man is a life saver regardless he knows that or not. I thank you Lemmo
Lost Mom in May to the virus 2 months later heard a voice told me I'd be dead in 45 days. had heart attack 45 days later .1 day later whilst recovering after surgery brother inlaw passed away.month later we all lost EVH.feelin the pain brother!.music is the key to healing!.its helped me thru years of pain and it'll help you as well!✌💛🤘
Sorry for your loss Michael. I wasn’t expecting it but through this gear video your incredible playing for your friend shines through. It’s utterly heartbreaking and beautiful.

Sad news & truly heartfelt words. Sorry for your loss. Regarding the Mustang colour, it's Lake Placid Blue with a clearcoat that yellowed over the years turning into that amazing ocean-like blue/green. I felt every bit of your emotion in this vid brother. Keep it real, keep on rockin and keep on lovin. May your friend rest in peace. Im sure he's watching you rock on.
My heart goes out to you Mr. Lemmo. It's hard when someone close dies suddenly and without warning. I lost my little brother a year ago last May and it still is a pain to think about him being gone. But I know that he is watching me.
Dude, you have an amazing heart. I’m sorry for your loss and the tragedy that affected everyone involved. What a great tribute though. I could listen to you play like that for hours!!
Michael, I’m very sorry for your loss. It’s never easy to lose someone especially under circumstances like that. I had a ‘65 Mustang in the 80’s. I paid $100 for it and sold it just before Nirvana broke into the scene for $110. I was very proud of my profit. I wish I still had that guitar. It was so easy to play. Great job today. That’s a great sounding guitar.
Does anyone else come back to this episode? Lemmo's playing is just incredible.
Yeah bro. One of my favourite episodes!
all the time mate
I just rediscovered it
Always, one of my faves, wants me learn to learn all of it, which i will someday...

It was his friend - not his brother.
@@davids9192 I know, I called Lemmo brother.
Todd Flowers my mistake.
Lemmo, at a recent funeral a friend told me "grief is love with no place to go". BTW, hiring you was the best hire Norm has ever done.
That's a good way to describe it
Your a good guy Lemmo, I could feel your pain as you played "A Day In The Life". God be with you.

I dont know you but I love you man. No uno, but seriously, you give us a part of yourself in return you ask for nothing from us.

That rendition of a day in the life was really nice, and impressive as well
Condolences, Michael. He had a great friend in you, and we all appreciate the generosity of what you share with us.
Wow! This is so emotionally raw! My heart goes out to all…
Damn you, you made me cry with a CBS freaking guitar.
George Chapogas I had to chuckle at that. True though
George Chapogas 70s era fenders aren’t bad, they’re just massively inconsistent 😂
Jake Charlie just a placebo
You gave the mustang alot of Justice. Thanks for reminding me about life. Don't take it for granted.

Michael, so sorry for your loss sir. Thanks for all u do.
So sorry for your loss and what a great tribute. You are a young man with a gracious old soul. Don’t change...
Much credit to you, Michael (and Jen), for not editing out your grief in this video. "Day in the Life" was brilliant - fueled by your pain. Last year, in the space of about six weeks, I lost my mother and three very old friends. This year our younger son went to live in the UK and our middle grandson is off to the USA in a week's time, having won a scholarship.
The Mustang family have a lovely pure sound when played clean. Walter Becker showed us this on "Aja".
Michael - my sincere condolences to you and all of Noah's family and friends. I've long admired you as a player, but I'm just astounded by the dignity with which you made that introduction. I 'm sure everybody who's watched it must have had the same reaction as me, wishing you the strength to get through such a painful announcement.
You can hear the pain and life goes on, sorry for your loss
No words to express my condolences to you and Noah's family such sorrow when a joyous occasion happened in the same time period. It's tough to process, hang in there. You are loved! One Day at a Time.
It's Green, take it outside in natural light fluorescent light is the worst to judge color!
They say an artist must suffer for their art. We are surrounded by unnecessary deaths, now more than ever. Michael has channeled that sorrow into beautiful music. A Day in the Life was perfection. On the level of Jeff Beck's interpretation. We are witnessing something very special.
So sorry for the loss of your friend, Michael. I just lost my uncle at the end of June and music was one of the main ways we bonded. Every time we got together, the guitars came out and we just had a great time playing old country songs together.
Musicians are rare souls on earth. Sorry for your loss Lemmo.
I know this is an older video, but I am sorry for your loss. I totally understand about losing friends especially ones that play music. With every note we play, they are with us.
Michael, I wish I could give you a big hug, friend. You give us so much happiness with your music and your upbeat approach to life. It kills me to see you sad. Make sure to cry as often as you need to. Don't hold it in. It isn't good for you. Love you.
Stay strong man. He will be with you forever through the music you play.
So sorry for your loss Michael. Your tribute to him was beautiful. My condolences to you and his family.
Sad news & truly heartfelt words. Sorry for your loss.
Regarding the Mustang colour, it's Lake Placid Blue with a clearcoat that yellowed over the years turning into that amazing ocean-like blue/green. The same thing happened with other guitars including other Competition Mustangs. The red ones went an incredible copper colour & the white ones went anywhere from off-white to full on banana. The paler Daphne Blue ones also look incredible, often turning a similarly jade-like green.
Damn Mike, I’m really sorry about your loss. Sending some good vibes your way
Lemmo soooo sorry to hear your loss man! He gave you an amazing gift and a gift to all of us by bring you to Norms. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to bring us these awesome videos!!! Hang in there we love you!
Sorry for your loss Michael. Best wishes to you and yours!
Thats the best sounding Mustang and best sounding Lemmo I ve ever heard
Thanks bud. Keep the chin up. Sorry for the loss and thanks for all the joy you bring us every day.
Thoughts are with you michael from across the pond. A very good friend of mine at uni died in the same senseless circumstances 20 years ago now when we were 20. It reminds me how lucky we are everyday to be here and how fragile the whole damn thing is.
Ive commented before i love your playing. Feeds the soul.
Tim
I just caught this episode days late. Sorry for your loss. I know it's tough. Lost my mom just six weeks ago. Just keep playing that guitar.
So sorry for your loss, brother. Lots of thoughts and prayers. Beautiful arrangement of A Day In The Life.

My heart goes out to you Mr. Lemmo. It's hard when someone close dies suddenly and without warning. I lost my little brother a year ago last May and it still is a pain to think about him being gone. But I know that he is watching me.
Sending positive vibes your way, Lemmo. The Mustang is absolutely gorgeous, but doesn’t hold a candle to your beautiful and brave sentiment.
Michael Lemmo has learned how to be a good friend, a great guitar player, and a gentle giant.
Dude, you have an amazing heart. I’m sorry for your loss and the tragedy that affected everyone involved. What a great tribute though. I could listen to you play like that for hours!!
