    OK First let me say that I am brand new to your channel and today you have won a fan. I am a subscriber to sooo many channels it has lost meaning to me... But I will be checking out your existing catalog and will be looking forward to any new content from you.
    That said, the video was very long, a bit too much... there was a lot of stuff that was not necessary to tell the story, but who am i, i am known for being extremely wordy... and have been in trouble at work because of it which has made me feel shitty and self conscious so take what I say as you like it....
    Anyway, this product looks great, I almost bought some a week or so ago... did not know if it was any good so this is super good to know! Cheers

      You’re right and I agree. I’m aware of it but I’m not ready to change the style because I’m not going into it to be a profession, if you will. I know I could grow faster by taking prep steps and planning, but then it wouldn’t be fun for me. I enjoy making videos as part of my FPV ride but I don’t have a goal to be a YT creator per se. I basically record for me and take others along for the ride. I get curious and like to try things but don’t like to script things and reshoot etc.
      Probably should but if it’s not easy or stress free, I’m not doing it. For now I like to be raw and when I get some positive response back, I’m good.
      Thanks for the advice and kind words brother! I do appreciate it.

      @@DaxNealFPV Hey, thanks for the reply. This was one of the first times I think i ever posted anything slightly negative (video was too long...) I am super glad you are having fun with this and FPV, that is very fortunate.
      I did really enjoy the presentation, the details you included, etc. I do not think that just anyone can do what you are doing, it is a skill. Yea lots of people do but infinitely more fail at it or could never get it going so keep it up for sure! Cheers

    As far as not transmitting while submerged, I’m an RF network analyst for a living. Radio frequency signals just don’t travel through water very well, so even a couple of inches of water is enough to block radio signals (like how the car radio fades out in a rain storm) except for extremely low frequencies (which could never be used for FPV). I’m sure they’re still transmitting, it just isn’t going anywhere except into the water.

    Mads tech did a review on this and it does in fact rub off so just spray it back on of you rub it off. The dip method in genius but the spray will work good out in the field just in case you have some river or wet grass to contend to. Amazing stuff I'll be getting me some here soon. • @DaxNealFPV
      @DaxNealFPV  2 месяца назад +1

      I’d just dunk the whole thing. With the casing, durability should not be an issue as it’s protected from scrapes.

  • @martykosar500
    @martykosar500 2 месяца назад +1

    I think the vtx and o3 failed because the braided cables for the camera is not water tight, it’s just fabric over the wire

      Possibly but the amount of that cable that was submerged should be covered too. I’ll try dipping the cable and retry.

  • @MrFadjule
    @MrFadjule 2 месяца назад

  • @DroneMee
    @DroneMee Месяц назад

    Uhhh this stuff is a joke obviously. If you use a similar method of conformal coating you get much better results. Except you have to actually consider the electrical connections. If electricity can flow through the protection then its not protection. The air units are shorting out almost certainly. The product wears of quickly and is much more expensive. This may be better for lazy builders but MG 422C properly applied is still the way.
    PS I can't find the clip of the submerged O3. Video was way too long.
