Can I ask a question? If you hall timber, do you need a compliance certificate to operate the hydraulic crane? Will you get a professional drivers license if you use blood pressure pills?
I recently got my C category ..and next weekend im starting with CE lessons ..it's confusing ..im new in ireland and noone really explained to me what i actually need to do xD..
I would to work as a truck driver in Ireland too. What’s the average salary in Ireland after taxes? Does it hard to find a job abroad the country and is it possible to work around the Europe (UK-IRL-Schengen area).
Your salary as a truck driver here is average at its best you will struggle to cover your costs and you will be living in a shared room or apartment majority of your wage goes towards the rent and bills IF you could find a place to rent
I am refugee. I have applied 7 months ago. 7 months and plenty email just for labour market permitt. Got my irish b license. Done theory for CD license. They still havent given me work permitt. They just replied that the respond can take several months. They badly need workers and yet they dont give me work permitt. I am paying my own rent. Never took social welfare because im single male. My english is ok. I can work like. And they still dont give me work permitt. Even denied my brother's one. But because i have safe pass manual handling and b irish license and cd theory they are not denying my work permitt. But not giving it too. Im going mentally crazy with the stress and so slow this country moves. Every day struggle. My brother just left. ( The weather not great. Money now not great. Stress everyday ). Im not blaming Irish for these but at least be human. You should have went to uk man. Not england maybe scotland or wales. Max north england
I have this stress too, i am under EU protection bcs if Ukr and it is temporary i dont know whats gonna happen tomorrow...but yeah everything is super slow here
Can I operate as an independent contractor in Ireland? In other words, can the salary I earn as a driver go to my company as opposed to the salary going to me personally?
yes you can but you need to pass a course and obtain a certificate called CPC transport manager before being able to run your own company as an independent contractor. basically you will need to have a transport manager, you either higher a person with that certificate or you go through the course, pass the test and do it yourself for your own company
Welcome to Ireland friend. Everything is slow, it’s retarded. I can tell you’re a strong man with a good mindset and morals. You’ll get through it. God bless good night🙏🏻
What’s the process I could go through, I’ve the artic license 🪪 and the cpc card I’ve driving in Italy and France for almost 5years and looking to relocating to Ireland.
No at the start but. Im also umployed now for 2 months after 1 year of working. looking for a job and applied to many. There are jobs, but many wanna pay a min wage and force u to work 10 to 12 hours.

The country moves slow because thousands of people have come here in the last 2 1/2 years and clogged up all our services. 3.5% population increase in a single year 2023-2024 is the highest in EU and one of the highest in the world. You are part of the problem, man. This was not an issue prior to 2022. Imagine how bad this is for people who are just trying to renew and have to compete with people flooding the country with first time applications?
No you are wrong here, at least partially. It was like this since Covid and it has been slightly better this year as waiting for the tests are slightly shorter and license are issued within promised time frame, the flooded population, asylum seekers, which I’m not one of those, also do not have the ability and permission to apply for a theory test even till their court time and that court granting them asylum which typically takes more than 6 months . Every single Irish person I spoke to told me this was like this and generally speaking everything is slow . In Germany it is the same somehow for example one have to wait for a really long time to see a specialised doctor
Why do you want it all for free we that are working would have to play for all the stages be thankful if you work in ireland you are screwed if you not working everytthing is handed to you
Who said for free? And been working for a year now 4am to 5pm as a truck driver. It is not about me as an immigrant ,i bet the irish citizens suffer from these long processing time of licenses as well . If i complain it is not me saying "why you are not giving ot to me faster" it is me complaining about the system. I bet you would like it too if the test waiting time and issuance be shorter as well , right?
