No idea why but I had this in my recommended section so decided to click on it and give it a watch. Wasn't expecting to enjoy t as much as I did! Hearing the tones brought back memories of standing on an overpass bridge, with my mate, gesturing for them to sound their horns. Great memories :)

Almost a year on from this video's release and it's amazing to see how far Tim has come. Gone from spending nights out in the Volvo, to possibly buying it from Data Shredders to add to his Scania collection. I've loved watching this channel grow from even when it was just TikTok. Let's hope we get GL12 WUM back on the channel!
Can't believe how enthusiastic and jolly you are I am a proper miserable git when I'm driving an HGV I just want to get home as quickly as possible and no way would I sleep out.
I’m an owner operator in the western United States. Us drivers here, if we have to over night on a side street always check our pins first thing to for the same reason. If we over night at a truck stop you’re generally ok and don’t have to worry as much but still always check before taking off. Great vlog Tim! Love seeing the differences and the similarities to us here in the states.

Did 10 years of European work, up to 3 weeks away at a time. The first couple of nights out are fun but after a while it just becomes a huge drag.

Hi Tim , loving the content , i used to love sleeping in my 7.5ton lorry 3 nights a week , pick up a takeaway, park up tv on and getting a good nights sleep . Nothing compares to sleeping in the lorry . Keep the content coming, can't wait for the next installment, happy tones Tim 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙

Loving the vlogs, I live just north of Gateshead, was very strange watching my journey home from work haha. The road works on/around bowes incline (just before team valley) is to widen the road, its a huge project taking until 2025 to complete.

Check out "skills for logistics, young lgv driver training scheme"...get ya car licence dun asap...keep ya nose clean, no points while u complete ur lgv1 training...soon as u pass ur lgv1 test apply at ur local lgv recruitment agencies 4 one ov pallet networks (much easier than tramping or multidrop) night shift (roads r much quieter while u cut ur teeth+night pay is £17+ p/hr) 👍👍👍 you'll be taking home £650+ per week.....p.s. nice Bichon 😎

Passed my class 1 in 1976, our trucks had no sleeper cabs, we sleept across seats, use to be aways 3/4 nights aweek on multidrop and collection work, no sat navs, no mobile phones, no Taco we used lie sheets, (log books) and trailers were all rope and sheet, but still loved the job, keep up the good work and stay safe out there

Class video, I live just next to the Team Valley! The A1 is being upgraded to 3 lanes (4 lanes southbound) between Team Valley and Washington where it turns into a Motorway. Needs a new bridge over the railway line hence all the construction. Third bit of A1 upgrading round here, the Newcastle bypass is getting 3 lanes each way and best one is it’s being dualled all the way from Morpeth to Ellingham near Berwick. Rightly so we’ve waited long enough. Whole thing needs dualling (grade separated) to Edinburgh!

I think that you're feeling good after sleeping in your lorry because when you're sleeping, you're in a somewhat vulnerable state. Therefore, your mind is in some way attached to your lorry where you slept as it protected you in that sense. It's all quite subconscious but that may be why people love these kinds of videos.
I personally love these videos as they remind me of sitting in the backseat of my dads car, driving through the stary night along beside mountain sides and trees. I was probably the age of 3 or 4 when this occurred however, it stuck.
Loved watching this Tim, I’m a tramper myself and out all week. Youve got a great attitude towards driving and it’s really nice to see, how excited you get. I’m the same every week. Hope to meet/see you out on the road sometime.

Very nice Tim I am a retired HGV1 Driver unfortunately I had to take early retirement after I had a Massive heart attack but do enjoy watching your blogs. Just like you I some time had to go and work in a rigid but always enjoyed get back in my own unit nothing like your own space in your own unit with all your own junk take care happy trucking..

I used to spent nites out wiv my old man in the 80s in Wales in the F10, NO nite heater in that thing, cold nites but used to love it, my old man used to tramp out in the Leyland marathon in the 70s, you had to tough in them days to be a tramper, do miss them days thou loved it so much!! I know my dads work mate he had a Leyland marathon day cab which he tramped out in, used to put a door across both seat and peace of form for his bed, mad days lol! Loving ur vlogs!!

I remember driving up and down the A1 from Edinburgh all the way to Northampton stopping at Scotch Corner and everywhere in between. In fact all over the UK.
Now I go Las Vegas to all around California and Arizona.
Not massively different from trucking in the UK, I haul gasoline here but it was general freight in the UK.

My dad is (was) a truck driver who loved the job and it was refreshing seeing someone with so much passion and excitement. Theres not that many drivers who have that anymore!
