Nooo don’t giveup. When I was in my 3rd year PhD I almost give up. No impactful data / discoveries, money is running out. No hope for me to continue. Every single day I thought about quitting. In the meantime my smartass junior was already preparing his final defense. I remember by supervisor told me “Fun things happen after PhD”. What he meant was - quit being a delusional perfectionist trying to chase Nobel materials. Just do whatever the minimum requirement for graduation. After another few empty months I came to realization that I had been thinking about quitting but never had the will to pull the trigger. I finally gave up on giving up. 😂😂 One year later I got my PhD. A bit late but I’m glad I didn’t quit. I know math is totally a different game but please reconsider!!
Dewd u almost made me critically overthink my current path in life...luckily I can now postpone that to a point, when the damage done is not reversible anymore 😇

just remember!! to profess the best just means having your best experiences to learn from(which are then professed)! all colleges give is the idea that you need their special experience to qualify which is just elitism with extra steps and not actually conducive to helping people learn from your experience which is what professors do. a prophet is a professing seer, having enough experience with visions to make solid claims about their nature. a degree is just like super sacred water from dragon ball, you just have probably had a hell of an experience getting to it which well if it was held out by manipulators with bad intent, uh yeah good luck lol ending up and believing it was the badge on the side that made a difference and not your experience to get there almost like it takes all the agency to do help away from those who manage to get that degree of experience within and then disregard those who do and could help as they aren't poisoned in this way.
