god i think the brick joke will always be my favorite moment
For me it's spraying gavin with the puke perfume.
That joke has gotten me so many exasperated sighs and I can never thank Burnie enough for sharing it with us.
I always tell that joke at gatherings now. It's funny the subtle changes some people have on your life. When ever I think of RT, I'll always think of him and the OG crew.
I have a mental note of every single reaction to that joke when I tell it.
I even do the stand-up greeting "Thank you everybody!" at the end.
Burnie is so incredibly creative. Phenomenal storyteller. Hardworking, talented, and caring. A role model. Emmy Nominated. I'll miss him tremendously.

I think Burnie is making a smart decision by leaving the company. What with all of its legal, social, and work problems.
It's the way he delivers that "No, the brick." line that makes it work. Almost with a hint of annoyance. It's great delivery.
He gives off such a lovable quality.

It hasn't been the same for a while.
When the shows went from stuff Burnie would writer with others from the RVB writing group to make things like, Strangerhood season 1, PANICS, 1-800-MAGIC they were cool as they are. As new people came in, the fewer and fewer projects that came out were stuff I cared about beside AH durring the Ray arc. I still tune in from time to time but not as often as I used to.
It wont be the same without Joel either

My only Real sadness that I have, is that this was how it ended. But it helps me to know that theyre all still doing fine personally. Millie is still a lil Gangster so its all still good
My favorite thing about Burnie is that he just exudes so much genuine confidence. Like this is real confidence - someone who can be playful and not take themselves seriously. I've met a lot of people who think they're confident but are too stoic, arrogant, or so afraid to be critical of themselves because they think it'll shatter their confidence. Burnie is the real deal.

Along with many others, Rooster Teeth has had such an influence on me growing up over the past (for me 10 years), and Burnie was such a huge part of that. I will always respect him and the decisions that RT has had to make over the years and will really miss him.

I feel like we all just need to appriciate the legacy Burnie leaves behind as a co-founder... yes he wants to pursue other things, but ties don’t seem to be ended. Burnie’s a great guy! Appriciate him as a person rather than a purely content creator. He’s got a family that he’s made plans with for the better part of 2 years as of recently.
